"This was a mother-daughter trip, hence the location of the hotel is perfect. Very close to the Phu Quoc Night market, in fact just walking distance away. The hotel is beautifully set up, modern and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. Do book the hotel room with breakfast as they have a good spread of food. There is not much of a beach area for this hotel, but they have a nice pool to chill on. The room is really beautiful and clean. The bathroom is well fitted with couple sink and a bathtub. The only downside is the expose glass panel (with blinds) may be a bit uncomfortable for those who are staying with friends but perfect for a couple. Even though the hotel provided blinds , you can still see through it when the bathroom lights are on. Other than that, everything is just great. "

"There is a free shuttle from the airport to the hotel. The hotel is 10-15 walk into town, which is about as close as any hotel gets. There are free bicycles to use, though I didn't see many people riding them around Phu Quoc. Taxis are generally cheap ($1-2 to get into town) and given mid-day heat, that's what we usually chose. The pool is quite nice and gets up to 2.5 meters deep, which isn't that common in Asia. The beach is kept in good condition (I'm sure it is quite a lot of work) and since it faces west (as most of the hotels on Phu Quoc do) it has some of the nicest sunsets in Vietnam. Prices are hotel-expensive for most things. An ice cream that costs 20,000VND across the street will cost you 60,000VND inside the hotel. Tiger beer is likewise triple price. I didn't mind (too much) since that's how all hotels are. The buffet was pretty average—nothing to write home about. After two days of breakfast buffet we opted to eat outside the hotel. There is a tiny (minuscule) "beach bar" that can seat about 6 people. We were the only people there, so maybe that's all they need. But it would have been nice to have that full "beach bar" experience sitting, drinking cocktails for hours; there are other places along Long Beach where you can get that, though. The room was nice. Good curtains kept it pitch dark when we wanted to sleep. As other reviewers have noted, the beds are ridiculously large. The biggest bed I've ever slept in. There is a small verandah with two chairs. We tried sitting out there one night but got devoured by mosquitos so retreated to the room after a few minutes. All in all, I'd stay here again (assuming it is price competitive with the dozens of other hotels that are springing up on Phu Quoc)."

" It's a recently built building, so you don't need to worry about bugs. It is 5 minutes walk to the beach and 10 minutes walk to the night market. The hotel staff may not speak English well, but most of the Phu Quoc are the same unless it is a luxury resort. Very comfortable while tying for 2 days and 3 days. Highly recommended."

"This hotel is very pleasant. The staff helped us with our laundry and arranged an island tour for us which was quite successful. The room is nice, and we liked that the bathroom is outdoors (but still very private). If you’ve never been to Phu Quoc before and are seeking a mellow beach vacation, however, I would recommend staying in a more remote part of the island. Duong Dong is busy, loud and dirty- just like the cities on the mainland that you were hoping to retreat from. It’s also worth noting that food is exponentially more expensive than the mainland. The hotel was walking distance from the beach, the night market, and multiple restaurants. It’s just not that pleasant to walk on Duong Dong- the sidewalks are filled with motorbikes and garbage. Ultimately the hotel exceeded our expectations but the destination did not."

"we really enjoyed our stay and would stay again only for longer,we booked a week,as we were going onto nah trang for 2 weeks and then Saigon,but we realised a week wasn't long enough to get around this beautiful island,just hope the developers treat it kindly as the signs are its about to take off as a major resort,we were surprised how lovely this place turned out to be,and how nice this hotel was.the staff were really helpful and spoke or could understand English which makes a differance when trying to get around."

"We really loved it here, the rooms are so homely and the staff are very helpful. We rented a new motorbike for whole stay for a good price. Walking distance from the night market and lots of restaurants. The mini bar in the room is very good and reasonably priced. Also the WiFi is pretty strong through the whole hostel. "
