This hotel is highly recommended for both short and long stays, not only for its excellent location adjacent Piccadilly railway station and tram stop, both including direct links to the airport, but also for the friendliness of the staff who were very obliging and helpful in answering questions and requests. The unit was spotlessly clean with easy to operate modern ap...

Great hotel, really nice spacious and modern rooms. Staff were very friendly and check in/out were a breeze. There is a very nice rooftop bar too with a good food and drink selection. Location is perfect, short walk from Manchester Piccadilly and the city centre/main nightlife. Will definitely stay here again.

Good place for a short stay especially if you're in Manchester for a conference - the hotel room is equipped for that (it has ironing facilities etc). Room was small, but clean and had a very good desk for working. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to everything and only a few minutes away from Piccadilly station.

I booked the hotel originally because it was located close to the opera house. The hotel is beautiful, the room was clean and spacious, we were at the rear of the hotel with a view of the old Manchester central railway station which is now a convention centre. The theatre was literally 2 minutes down the street, St Anne’s square was about a 10 minute walk and the Arn...

Excellent location and easy walk from the Piccadilly railway station. The room was nothing flash and unfortunately a noisy compressor of some sort was right outside the window so don’t ask for room 105. No air conditioning and as it was a hot night we had the window open. But the room was clean and bed reasonably comfortable. Breakfast was also good. But the location w...

the city suites is a really great aparthotel it is situated smack bang in the city centre, within 350m of most attractions, rail and tram stations and department stores and the famous Xmas markets, well worth a visit. our apartment was a premium city view, it was very clean with all the amenities you could wish for, washing machine, fridge freezer, coffee making facili...

Everything was fantastic. Reception staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was clean and spacious with the option of a smoking rooms. Only 5 mins walk from piccadilly train station. Surrounded by bars and restaurants and 2 mins to arndale shopping centre. Highly recommended.

Central location, very close to the Piccadilly railway station but only five minutes walk from the vibrant Northern Quarter or the Arndale shopping centre. Rooms had free wifi And iMac, table & nice chair if you needed to work. the room had minibar, safety box, it was spotless and had quality shower... staff were helpful and I've got nothing but good things to stay ab...

If yoi're looking for a basic (no tea/coffee making facilities, towel £1 extra charge) budget hotel with a city centre location (2 minutes' walk from Piccadilly Gardens, 10 minutes' walk from Piccadilly Station), I would recommend this one. This was the second time I stayed at this hotel when visiting Manchester. I will definitely stay here again when I next visit Manc...

We were assigned a room with the bathroom seperated from the toilet at the corner of the hotel. When passing through checked-out rooms with doors opened, we peeked in to realise that our room was much bigger than the other rooms we saw. With the high ceiling left from the heritage of the brewery, and the fan provided in the room, it was not hot even in summer when th...

stayed at the hilton deansgate in december for 3 nights during our honeymoon. we booked a queen bedroom and the room was a decent size. the hotel is close to the deansgate railway station and within walking distance to shopping (arndale centre, etc). cons- wifi is not free at the hotel (charged at 15 pounds for 24 hours). hotel staff didn't seem to know anything about ...

This is my first time staying in this hotel and it is approx. 5 minutes from Piccadilly Railway Station, bus stop is right next to hotel, many shops around the hotel and China town is right at the back of the Hotel. I will definitely stay in this hotel when I visit Manchester next time.

The hotel is a great place to stay. Less than 5min from shopping, night clubs area and Victoria train station. The staff was really nice and helpful. The restaurant and bar areas on ground floor make the place extremely convenient and living. The hotel itself kept the english wooden style giving lot of caracter to the hotel and rooms. I had the good surpise of sp...

ibis Styles Manchester Portland is an amazing property to stay in Manchester. LOCATION: The property is located at a 10 min walking distance from the Manchester Piccadilly train station and is conveniently located on the main road. The property is surrounded by cafes, coffee shops, restaurants and convenience stores, which altogether makes it a prime location, espe...

The hotel locates on Oxford Road where very close to railway station, city center and university. The room is clean and big, but the windows faces to the pubs next to the hotel, which due to a little noisy. Breadfast in the hotel is not very abundant, however the staffs are very helpful and nice. In a word, it was a nice experimence to stay in this hotel.

Stayed there for 4 nights for my trip into Manchester - the hotel is easier to find and only a short walk from Oxford Rail. Great value for money (though I did manage to book on a sale) , and with maccies/spoons next door, and more food a short walk away, best place to stay for me. Lorenzo on the front desk was extremely helpful and helped with a couple requests I ...

The room was very clean, spacious. Loved the bathroom. Location is so close to Piccadilly station, less than 5 Mins walk, and also close to the bus station and city center. It has Starbucks on the lobby, so that's very convenient. Aircon is a bonus. But I had to wait for about 15mins to check in because of the queue at the reception. So I think the hotel should put mor...

The stay was great. Location was really central to everything. Shopping centre was 10 mins walk away with cinema just opposite the centre. Trams and buses stop were opposite the hotel. Glad to have chosen this hotel. It's was only 15 mins walk from Manchester Piccadilly station and had everything you need only a few minutes away.

Very satisfied with the hotel. Thanks to the good review given by other travelers. I wouldn't choose this great hotel if not for the review and ratings. The hotel is centrally located and just 4 minutes walk to a tramp station (which helps if you want to visit Old Trafford). And of course, Arndale is less than 10 minutes walk. For Muslim travelers you can find plenty o...

Stayed on a Thursday night in order to get a very early morning train from Victoria station. Paid £27, could not get better value at that price. Friendly reception on arrival. Room was basic but had bed, TV, towels, kettle, warm and above all spotless.

I chose the hotel based on location from Piccalilly Station and to the University on Oxford Road, both really easy to navigate to and in walking distance. The hotel had a modern feel and my room for an Ibis felt like one of the 'styles' type rooms, new and modern design, much better on look and feel than the standard ibis room you normally get. I had a good night's sl...

The staff is absolutely brilliant and the location is spot on, although the hotel itself needs a good refurb. Beds really comfy, TV signal was cutting off, the heating in the bathroom and our room was on, even though it was absolutely boiling outside. First night felt like we were in sauna, so we had to check out earlier. Maybe other rooms are ok, but room 7 is defi...

A wonderful hotel in a great location. Lots of night life and just a very short walk from shopping, site seeing and great restaurants. The hotel is very conveniently located for Piccadilly train station. I can't say enough good things about this hotel. From the cleanliness and overall eye appeal of the individually decorated rooms to the friendliness of the staff, ...
