The unit was spotlessly clean with easy to operate modern ap...This hotel is highly recommended for both short and long stays, not only for its excellent location adjacent Piccadilly railway station and tram stop, both including direct links to the airport, but also for the friendliness of the staff who were very obliging and helpful in answering questions and requests. The unit was spotlessly clean with easy to operate modern appliances including a clothes washing machine and dryer which was simple to use and the kitchen was comprehensively equipped with kitchen utensils. If possible, request rooms on the upper floors for quietness and a view over the adjacent canal. There are many convenience shops located nearby, including one almost opposite, as are many pubs and restaurants located nearby. The main pedestrianized area of the city and main shopping area is a short stroll away.

I booked the hotel originally because it was located close to the opera house. The hotel is beautiful, the room was clean and spacious, we were at the rear of the hotel with a view of the old Manchester central railway station which is now a convention centre. The staff were all friendly and our receptionist was lovely and chatty, check in & out was quick. I had requested an earlier check in and that was organised no problem. Will definitely be staying here next time I am in Manchester.

Excellent location and easy walk from the Piccadilly railway station. The room was nothing flash and unfortunately a noisy compressor of some sort was right outside the window so don’t ask for room 105. But the location was the real selling point, right opposite the Piccadilly Gardens and lots of restaurants and bars close by.

I would recommend the aparthotel to any traveller to manchester as it is a 5-star hotel and lives upto those 5 star's

If yoi're looking for a basic (no tea/coffee making facilities, towel £1 extra charge) budget hotel with a city centre location (2 minutes' walk from Piccadilly Gardens, 10 minutes' walk from Piccadilly Station), I would recommend this one. We were assigned a room with the bathroom seperated from the toilet at the corner of the hotel. When passing through checked-out rooms with doors opened, we peeked in to realise that our room was much bigger than the other rooms we saw. With the high ceiling left from the heritage of the brewery, and the fan provided in the room, it was not hot even in summer when the temperature was 30°C+. Th only thing about this room which we felt strange about, was the th bathroom wa without a door! Guess it would be a bit awkward when the room is occupied by two friends. The 'pack-to-go' breakfast was good, with pastry products, cereal bars, yoghurts and fruits, and coffee, tea or chocolate was freshly prepared at our order. Service was good overall, and we were satisfied at this low room rate. The location was alright, within walking distance from Salford Central Station, which could be reached by the free bus from Piccadilly Station or National Football Museum, etc.

All places of interests are at a convenient walking distance of 10-20 mins from the hotel. CHECK-IN & STAY: CHECK-IN was seamlessly good. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. They explain about all the hotel amenities at the time of check-in and were kind of take care of my baggage post check out as I had time to kill before my train left and I could explore the city without having to carry my baggage. ROOMS: The rooms are colorful and bright. They have a stylish yet warm charm to them. I was given a room at the top floor and was not disappointed. OVERALL: Go for it! :)

Rooms are the Novotel standard - spacious room, good bed, a desk and big TV to plug my laptop into. Would definitely be using the hotel next time I visit Manchester again!

It has Starbucks on the lobby, so that's very convenient. Aircon is a bonus. But I had to wait for about 15mins to check in because of the queue at the reception. I chose the hotel based on location from Piccalilly Station and to the University on Oxford Road, both really easy to navigate to and in walking distance. A wonderful hotel in a great location. Lots of night life and just a very short walk from shopping, site seeing and great restaurants. The hotel is very conveniently located for Piccadilly train station. I can't say enough good things about this hotel.
