"Hotel and room are very clean. Everyday they change the amenities like soap, shampoo, new towels, etc. Likewise the staff are very polite and very helpful though not all can speak English. Breakfast at the Peninsula was very good. Near places of interest, just a walking distance from Teddy Bear Museum, Play Kpop, Chocolate Land, Ripley's Believe it Or Not and Cheonjeyeon Falls. Also walking distance from 7 Eleven, Starbucks and other restaurants and convenience stores. It's a big hotel so we never really had a chance to explore around the hotel and use its facilities during our short stay. But will definitely come back to this lovely hotel. A word of warning though, DON'T EVER book cars on Agoda's partner Mozio and Talixo. Our experience with them almost ruined our trip. Imagine a rented car not coming at the designated place and time and gave us the wrong number of the driver via SMS. There's nothing else you can do but call a taxi instead. I felt shortchanged and duped."

"Ambience of the place is good... very cozy and well maintained. The room is bigger than what was on the picture. The service provided by the hotel staff was excellent and very helpful. They even go the extra mile to ensure things went well. The only cons is that some of the furniture n fittings of the room are old n not well maintained... but overall loving the place and definitely will book on next visit. "

"It was my first trip to Jeju Island. I would definitely recommend Benikia hotel Jungmun to anyone who is visiting Jeju Island, especially Jungmun area. It's a clean and cosy hotel with friendly and kind staffs who would help you with everything you need. The receptionist spoke in English. He helped me to find my lost iPhone. Only 3 min from the bus station where also you can get on Airport limousine. Close to everything Cheonjiyeon waterfall, museums and other attractions including teddy bear museum, trick eye museum, play kpop, a chocolate museum and so on. Actually, it was just a 15min walk from everything. Also, it's close to Daepo Jusangjeolli Cliff and a beach. "

"It's pricey but you get what you pay for--almost. We booked a mountain view room only to be put into a Lotte and hotel wall view 1st floor room. Sheets had some stains and holes in them, which was a disappointing. Upon calling staff the situation was quickly rectified and we were happily upgraded to an ocean view room. It wasn't a great start with a lack of attention to details for a 5-star, but overall the hotel grounds are gorgeous and the staff at Shilla provided excellent & sincere customer service. However the food (12000 won for an americano) is quite ridiculous. It's a high end place, but there are certain basic things you shouldn't gouge people on. There were no affordable food options on premise, so you do have to go to off resort restaurants by taxi (10 min) if you don't want to spend 50000 won per person per meal. Overall, we had a great experience, but just go with a lot of money..."

"this was a well above average stay at a wonderful four star hotel near jungmung resort on the south coast of jeju island, south korea. smaller than it's two massive casino hotel neighbours but nevertheless well appointed and excellently located near all the attractions, my wife and i were well pleased with our stay. however, they advertise themselves as 5 star and in typical korean fashion, they create their own scoring system rather following the internationally recognised hotel star system. for example, a 5 star hotel must have 24 hour room service and this hotel did not. there were tea making facilities but only korean green tea. no coffee or the usual lipton/twinings black tea you would find in an international 5 star. also there was no visible porter service and no one to greet us/open the door as we entered. these are all trappings of a real 5 star hotel. one final gripe is that the hotel lobby bar/restaurant was extremely expensive with a burger and a local beer going for over 20 dollars. my wife and i noticed that with the exception of the buffet breakfast, the bar/restaurant seemed totally abandoned by the hotel guest. they need to have realistic prices out of season. otherwise a really nice hotel at a reasonable price: recommended!"

"Staff are English friendly and if not they will do their best to communicate with you which made things easier for us. Hotel is close to several restaurants ( and attractions in the Jungmun area (waterfalls, pacific land, Museums), if driving, so a car is recommended when staying in this area. There is only about 4-5 restaurants near the hotel in terms of walking distance. Overall great stay, hotel photos are nicer than actual rooms but the rooms are fine either way. "
