The room was comfortable and the air conditioning was wonderful. The maids kept it clean. The stairs could use some renovation and some paint. The internet service was practically nil. I had to pay extra for it and it barely worked in my room. It would constantly kick me off an I had to log in every 10 minutes, when it worked. I usually had to sit on the floor by the elevator to get any service. The breakfast was great with as hot buffet and the staff were great. They deserve a raise (just my opinion). The hotel is within walking distance of Bayswater and Queensway tube stations and many restaurants and amenities.

We stayed for 2 nights and from stepping out of our taxi we were greeted by the lovely doorman who took our luggage. As we had arrived off an early flight I was not expecting our room to be ready but he advised we should ask anyway. The reception staff were very friendly and we were delighted to be given the room so early after a 4am start. The room was clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable and we slept very well. The hotel is very near Marble Arch tube station so its very easy to get to places. Also always taxi's at the front door of the hotel which was very convenient. Only negative was the very limited choice of vegetarian or vegan food on the menu at the Deli. We wanted to have something quick to eat as our time was limited before we went to the theatre but as my daughter is dairy free vegetarian there were no sandwiches or salads she could eat so we had to eat out. I would stay at the Amba again and would not hesitate to recommend it to others.

We stayed on the ground floor, the room was huge for a london hotel at that price point. Large comfortable bed and windows that open. Bathroom had heated floor which was great for winter. Literally 20 meters round the corner is the Bayswater tube station and another 2 minutes walk up the road is queensway tube station so its more than easy to get around. Hyde park is just up the road and there are about 1km of streets surrounding the hotel full of very nice or affordable eateries. Staff are very friendly and helpful and the food there is good, although a little pricey. Bathroom had a "rain" shower and tub in one. The sink had a modern design which actually meant that it didnt drain very well but the rooms were thoroughly cleaned by the staff everyday. Can't say much else, had zero complaints after staying there for 3 nights and would definitely stay there again if I go back.

I was wowed the moment I stepped into the lobby. It looked so posh and classy! The staff are very helpful and friendly with excellent service. It just feels like a 5 star hotel. The next best thing about the hotel is its location. People who love to shop will definitely love it. You just need to step out of the hotel, turn left, and the rest is the whole street of shopping starting from High Street fashion along Bond street all the way to High End brands covering New & Old bond street. Marble Arch Tube station is just outside towards left side of the hotel and it is on the central line, meaning it's a centralized line and all you need is 1 transfer to most important landmarks like Piccadilly, Victoria and Leicester station or sometimes even direct without changing lanes! The only thing is given the fantastic welcome impression from lobby, the room is just plain normal and the housekeeping do not refill certain things. But still fine, given the above pros!! Love the stay!

The hotel is well-located nearby the Oxford/Bond Street where you can spend whole day for shopping. Just couple mins walk to and from the Marble Arch Tube Station. I've stayed in the hotel couple times for business and personal trip. The room is so comfortable that I can sleep well at night. The place is quiet as it is just right behind the Portman Square. The setback is that the rate is a bit expensive that the breakfast is not inclusive in the room and internet is not free. Other than that, I have no complaints about this hotel.

The hotel itself is incredibly nice. The location isn't brilliant but your a two seconds from Edgware Road tube station which then connects to all the major tube stations, so your a few tube rides away from the big attractions but this really didn't hamper us and wouldn't stop us staying here for a 3rd time. The hotel is a little on the expensive side but worth it, and i would always upgrade to include breakfast with the room.

This hotel is extremely well-priced considering how modern it is and the great location. It's in the heart of Kensington, very close to Kensington Gardens/Hyde Park. Queensway tube station is very close by and it was very easy to get her from Heathrow. You can also walk easily to Notting Hill & Portobello Markets. We had renovated rooms which were nice & new with a flatscreen TV. The rooms were a bit poky but it's understandable considering all the factors like price/location. They also said that our breakfast wasn't included on the first morning but we got it cleared up at reception and weren't asked again during our stay. There are two computers available for internet in the waiting room but the internet is a bit slow and they're usually busy. We couldn't access the wifi site on our laptop and the receptionist didn't really provide much help with that. Apart from small things like that we were very happy with our stay.

First the good points - the location can't be beat for being close to the Heathrow Express and a major tube station (although note that the Circle and Hammersmith & City lines towards Kings Cross are on the opposite side of the station). The bed is as good as that on any 5-star property in terms of comfort and sheet quality. Finally, the bathroom was good. Now the bad news: The room was very small, not unusual for a European hotel, but there was negligible space for hanging clothes and parking suitcases. Also, note that there are negative reviews for the noise related to the Underground, that can be addressed by asking for a park side room, although I would imagine during the summer, the windows will need to be opened, and it will still be noisy then. Also, the bathroom has almost no room for toiletries and not even a soap dish. In all, despite some negatives, for $120/night incl taxes, this is a great deal and made for a most enjoyable stay in London.

It was better than expected, the studio had a small pantry with everything you need from utensils to plates. It was very well kept and clean, and it didn’t have the studio apartment feel. It still felt very much like a nice hotel with the advantage of having a microwave and a place to heat up your food if need be. The staff were all friendly. The size of the room was comfortable considering that it is london(I’ve stayed in double tree Hyde park and this was definitely a better experience). The location is excellent, just a 3-4 minute walk from Lancaster gate tube station. I love being able to run at Hyde park early in the morning. It’s also not too far from a convenient store and some restaurants.Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed for 6 nights. Overall was good. Great location. Pros : This hotel is several steps from Malaysian Hall Canteen, 2 minutes walk from Hyde Park, 4 minutes walk from Queensway tube station (one station to Marble Arch - shopping heaven, Oxford Street). There are several halal restaurants (Middle East Food, Malay Food, Subway), grocery stores (Saintbury, Tesco), souvenior shop and many more. The basic yet modern room with flat-screen TV, tea and coffeemaking with mini kitchen facilities. Wi-Fi available. Served with hot breakfast and basic choice of food but very satisfying. Additionally, F&B staffs are very helpful and friendly. Lastly, housekeeping for our 6 nights stay are fabulous and excellent. Cons : We've been located in the back room, 2nd floor with no elevator. Agoda should state clearly in Booking Infos regarding this matter (with elevator or without elevator). Luckily we travelled without kids or senior citizen. The frontdesk staff is not that friendly. Need to improve. A successful front office operation can make an everlasting impression. Me and husband really enjoyed our trip and will definitely repeat our stay :)

The hotel to me has the best location to get anywhere central in London as underground tube station is just around the corner. Halal food are an easy access as well as Queensway/Bayswater rd is situated at 10 min walk frm the hotel or a bus ride away. Room are not too spacious however well kept and clean. Staff are very helpful and friendly. We had a good 8 days stay at the hotel and definitely will return in future.

I had a 2 night business stay here. This hotel consists of 4 separate properties along Gloucester Place and this caused initial confusion. I had given the taxi driver the address on the booking, no. 51, but he dropped me at the first building on Gloucester Place he saw with a sign for Z Hotel. I walked to no 51 to be told that my room was in no 87. This initial confusion was soon forgotten when I arrived at no. 87. It is a beautiful Georgian townhouse, sensitively and recently converted to hotel use. It feels like an exclusive boutique hotel, of the sort that would cost far me than the rate I paid. The free wine available adds to the feeling of being in an exclusive club, rather than an inexpensive hotel. The room was nice, with fresh, clean decor and a comfortable bed. I didn't hear a sound and slept well. Breakfast was served at a communal table and include a good selection of breads, cereals and fruit. All of this within 3 mins of Baker Street tube station. A good spot.

We got a great deal on Agoda, the room was beautiful for a small twin. Huge shower, tea and coffee making facilities and comfortable bed. We paid for a breakfast voucher for £10 and it was a beautiful breakfast, plenty of choice and GF bread on request. The hotel is 1 min from Hyde park and a stunning walk, 1 min from Lancaster Gate Tube station and bus stops at the front on Bayswater Road. This is a small boutique hotel. The reception and bar were immaculate. Staff very welcoming and best of all the hotel was quiet !!

was in Hilton Parklane for a business trip and i was pleasantly impressed with the service, rooms and there really isn't anything to complain about. the rooms were very well made up/clean and the stay in the hotel was comfortable. also the staff in the hotel were ever friendly and they never fail to make my day. the only downside would be that the tube station requires a bit of walking, however this is manageable since we have got either green park or Hyde park station to choose from (which adds to variety of cos). its walking distance to popular spots like Piccadilly circus, Covent garden, oxford street. if you want to skip the walking, you could catch a bus (remember to get your oysters) and everything is within reach. overall, pleasant experience and would be back to Hilton@parklane again should i have another work trip! cheers xx

My exoerience at the Tune In hotel was excellent. I went there with my boyfriend for 4 days. The location was very convenient as the Edgware road tube station is only 5 min walk. Buses run regularly during nighttime when the tube is closed. Nearby, there are plenty shops where you can buy the essentials and remain open even after 1 o clock at night. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I asked them advice for restaurants and directions and provided me with full detail with what I wanted. The room was very clean and new. There is a mini bar, where you can buy something for breakfast. Shower had plenty of hot water. Great value for money!!

Great staff, nice rooms clean big bathroom a little tight but not too bad modern clean great hot water and pressure. No noise from hallway or neighboring rooms but we could hear people walking in the room above us. Not a big deal just one night it was a little annoying. Great place to stay lotta restaurants in the neighborhood I recommend Indian places on Gloucester Street. We took Heathrow express to the Paddington station walk to the hotel about 20 minutes. After that we could take the tube anywhere in central London which was only a five minute walk to the tube station.. Good value for the money if you’re looking for if you’re savvy traveler that doesn’t mind taking the tube I can’t think of a better place to stay in London

Located virtually opposite Paddington Station makes travel simple. IDEAL for travellers, anyone coming from Heathrow with loads of luggage has only a few steps to travel to check in to this hotel. Checking in and out is speedy and simple. Near countless bars, pubs, shops, restaurants etc. Also minutes away are Queensway, Bayswater, Hyde Park etc. It has easy access to 3 or 4 tube stations, Paddington being the closest, and being central London, this gives amazing access to all nearby attractions. I have stayed her numerous times, every time I come home from abroad or even when just popping down to London for the Theatre etc. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED and great value for money.

Decent size rooms that are fairly new and clean. Good shower. Good location with a direct bus to Oxford Street and a tube station 5-10 minutes away. Nice bar and with a decent restaurant but unfortunately, the staff, except for one lady (Chira?), are not up to the mark. Not able to check in before 3pm and yet check out before 11am. Not very accommodating front desk, perhaps not sure what management will say. One of the other guests asked for an additional chair in their room and was flatly denied!

Leonard Hotel is located at a supremely good location, just a minute off Marble Arc Tube station and at the doorstep of a shopping paradise. I really enjoyed my stay here along w the good service and clean rooms provided. The hotel room provides all amenities needed for a traveller including hair dryer which is an essential item for women out there. I would highly recommend everyone to stay here. Cheers.

basically a well located hotel near marble arch tube station and along oxford street with several shopping malls. if you have several luggages arrange for shuttle service to heathrow airport as most of the tube stations are accessible only by stairs. the shuttle service costs 19 pounds and takes last than an hour but depending if it fetches others from hotels along the way. the heathrow express train also costs 19 pounds and takes only 15 mins from paddington train station to the airport, however will still need to take the tube from marble arch to paddington which costs around 2 pounds, so the total is 21 pounds, total travelling and waiting time maybe 30 to 45 mins with the inconvenience of stairs and the crowd. overall a satisfactory stay.

After a fairly long delay which caused me to arrive much later than expected, Phillip (night manager) was very helpful in getting me checked and settled in. The room was compact but so well-equipped. Every appliance and amenity one would need was provided for. I stayed for 18 nights in room 202. The kitchenette came in quite handy as it allowed me to cook simple meals instead of having to eat out all the time. Being able to do laundry in your own room was very useful too. Overall, room was in pretty good condition, and very clean. Toiletries provided were quite comprehensive as well. There was also ample storage space including built-in shelves above the washing machine, a wardrobe, and even a lift-up bed which allowed for storage underneath. The location of the hotel was very close to the amazing restaurants of Westbourne Grove, as well as Bayswater/Queensway. There is a shopping centre (Whiteleys) nearby with decent food outlets and a cinema, and a good supermarket as well (M&S Simply Food). With buses and tube stations within easy walking distance, the hotel is superbly located for any excursion. Would highly recommend Space Apart Hotel and will very likely choose it again for my next visit to London.

I have been to London for 6 times and this is the best accommodation I have ever had so far. The decoration of the hotel is nice and romantic and the best of all is it's location. It's just 5 mins walk from underground station and Hyde park is just right next to it. You will find it super awesome if the hotel is so convenient when you travel in winter, no need to take long cold walk from tube station. And every morning, i can enjoy morning walk in hyde park that makes my london trip perfect.

If you are looking for a traditional English hotel but don't want to stay in an old-fashioned room, then this is a hotel for you. The design is traditional but nothing in the hotel is old (apart from the building itself of course). You will have a new bath room in traditional English style. The same goes for the bed etc. Since it is a small hotel, there is no dining room. Your breakfast is brought to your room at the time you choose. The room has a table, chairs and sofa, so there is space to have your breakfast. This hotel is most suited to couples and a romantic weekend in London. Certainly not a business hotel. Location is fine. 300 metres from Lancaster Gate tube station, which is right next to Hyde Park. Marble Arch is a short walk away. The staff was friendly to us. We would certainly consider this hotel for future stays.

The location is good for Muslim seeking HALAL food, and with Bayswater and Queensway tube stations nearby make it very easy cheap travelling elswheare. I was amazed that the Manager gave me a free b/fast eventhough Agoda deal was w/o on the first day! It was a mistake by the person in charged when i Check in telling methat the rate was with b/fast ! I told the Manager what was told to be on check in , and I guess upon cheking my story , she decided not to charged my son and I for the 2 pax of b/fast we had. Bravo ! I repect the lady Manager who honour Client's true story ! Cheers

Perfect location. Tubes & Bus Station are minutes away. All facilities are provided. No regrets. But, the darker side, there is no one to hear you from management. God forbid, if you face any problem, no one will be there to resolve. House keeper usually comes when you are out of the apartment. Flat's door lock code was changed twice during my stay & I was informed only one time by e-mail. 2nd time I tried & got success. Otherwise, no one received my call on given help line number. I saw a Chinese family one evening, with their luggage, trying to contact the management. Next morning, he knocked my flat & asked if i know who is the manager. This is ridiculous. I don't know what happened to him later. I strongly suggest to the management to appoint a customer care office to avoid any bad thing happened to the families like this. House keeper didn't clean anything except the garbage box. You have to do your all jobs. In hot summers, there must be a fan. Otherwise, all good.

I had mixed feelings when booking this hotel due to the mix reviews, however it turned out well. Pros- Location: very close to Paddington Tube Station & also London Paddington Underground station ( Heathrow express & national trains to other cities ie Bristol). The area surrounding was nice too. About 5-10 mins walk from both Stations. Service: this hotel has a lift! Cons: The room that i got was for 4 pax so it was slightly bigger than anticipated for just us 2. It could be a bit small & tight for families. The corridors are pretty narrow and small i have to say. It was a bit of a struggle to drag my large size luggage around the corridors because it was small. So if you have a big group, it's recommended to walk single file in the corridors. ;). Iron was not provided too.
