We reach hotel at a late time. But we were both hungry after check in. We asked the hotel staff for food direction. he gave us a few suggestions. so we started walking in the heavy snow in hope to find food. after 5 mins. A car stop in front of us and it was the hotel staff!!! He must have been very worried that we walked too long in the cold. Hence he came looking for us and drove us to a restaurant at almost 11pm. We were really very touched by his gesture. His attitude is way more than just 5 stars. Thank you!!! we had the best time in jeju. Lastly, hotel is needless to say. Everything excellent from cleanliness to space to heater and shower room.

The Howard Johnson was perfect for our trip to Jeju Island. Many reviews say to stay in Seogwipo-si if you’re on the island for multiple days but we opted to stay in Jeju-si for 4 days and 3 nights. The Howard Johnson is incredibly close to the airport and easy to get to via bus (download the Kakao app to get up-to-date bus information, Korea’s google maps essentially). The HJ is located in the new downtown area with many restaurants and the Lotte duty free mall within walking distance. The old downtown with Dongmun market is a short bus ride away. We took a day trip to Seogwipo, saw the main sites. While Seogwipo was beautiful, we found much more things to do in Jeju around the HJ. In terms of facilities, it is a newer hotel so everything looks new. The bed was comfortable and you can control your own AC. The TV was also a sleek newer LED LG TV. The hotel doesn’t have a gym or a pool, however, so plan for that. All around, great value and would stay again.

Wanted to stay at a quieter place away from Jeju city, but not too far away from the airport either. This is a new hotel, so gave it a try. Booked a deluxe room (double + single beds) with sea views. Room was located at a higher floor. It was spacious and the amenities were very new. Location wise, there is a bus stop in front of the hotel that goes to the city. However we didn't use it. Took a taxi whenever we wanted to go to the city, cost around SGD8-10 per trip. Most of the reception staff understood and spoke minimal English (only met 1 or 2 whom could speak really well). However, it would help if you could try to speak slower and do some research beforehand on the places that you wanted to visit. Despite the language barrier, they were still very helpful towards understanding my requests and helped to act as a translator between the taxi driver and us. Buffet breakfast at the hotel was an optional add-on. Quite expensive though the food quality was not bad. Limited dining options around the hotel. There is a fast food chain outlet (Lotteria) around 8mins walk away from the hotel. A fried chicken chain outlet (Nene chicken) just beside the hotel. A few convenience stores also located within walking distance from the hotel.

The hotel location is right in front of the ocean and the view is beautiful if you can get the ocean front rooms. It doesn’t necessary have to be on the front side of the building, the rooms on either side have a slightly oblique windows, so maybe some partial view of the ocean can be viewed. Ocean suites is located at the Jeju city, only about 5-10 minutes from the airport and have a lot of restaurants within walking distance. The hotel staffs have good English, and very informative, especially about the transportation choices to some of the tourist attraction on the island. The manager gave us a good idea about taking the limousine bus from the airport to get to Seogwipo and Jungmun tourist complex. The room is large with separate bedroom and living room, the largest hotel room we had in Korea! The mattress is rather hard for us and one of the let down is the stains on the couch. One note when booking this hotel, only a few booking website that can be used in booking this hotel (we used agoda.com), and the official website of the hotel doesn’t have the best instructions in English about how to book. Maybe this can be an area of improvement. Overall, Jeju is a beautiful island and have many attractions that we haven’t seen yet, and possibly we will use Ocean Suites Hotel again when we comeback again.

Robero Hotel is very nice, cozy and has beautiful lobby interior. I stayed for 3 nights and it was very relaxing. My room was on the 6th floor, high enough to see the ocean view from my room window. I tried to request if I can move to a higher floor but the receptionists said no more rooms on the higher floors. Well, that is fine. I can still see the ocean though some buildings and establishments blocking it :) Room was spacious for a solo traveler like me and the bathroom were nice and clean. There were 24-hr convenience stores, cafes and restaurants nearby. Just infront of the hotel is the historical pavillion, similar to old palaces in Seoul and just a few walk, you will see the entrance of the underground shopping center. Bus Stop is near. For those who booked for a group tour with YEHA Tours, Robero Hotel is one of their pick-up and drop-off locations. So, you dont need to go to nearby hotels to pick you up. I booked for Yeha Tours and they picked me up in the hotel's lobby.

Frontline staff, May, was very friendly. When we arrived at the hotel with our private driver, she communicated our plans to our driver. She helped us out planning our route and advise us in getting our way there. The hotel was VERY near to the airport. Remember to book the shuttle bus from the hotel one day in advance, for us, we forgot and took a taxi to the hotel. But it was cheap. There were a number of restaurants open late night and food was good! Hotel location was definitely good. The room was spacious as well and there is a self cleaning machine in the room. The bed was very comfortable! Overall my stay at this hotel was GREAT! I would go here again if I am going to visit Jeju!

So far in my 6d5n trip to korea this is the best hotel i got. Room was clean, cozy and big. The location of the hotel also was great since it just next to shops and restaurants and 5-10 minutes from airport. There are restaurants for muslim called Rajmahal (indian) - 10minutes walk from hotel and Bagdad - 5000won by taxi from hotel. If u want to sightseeing around the island simply just ask at the lobby then they will provide option for u(yes they speak english).

Central location for Jeju City. Very near shopping district and halal restaurant (Rajmahal). Easy to get taxi and bus stops right in front of the hotel. Across Starbucks and ABC mart (shoes). Next to GS convenience store for late night food run. Love the service and amenities. 3-piece toilet for the deluxe room makes you feel pampered. The things provided in the toilet are constantly provided or replenished. There is an iron and ironing board provided. Fridge and water kettle as well! On the downside, if you need to heat up leftovers in the microwave, you will need to pass it to the hotel receptionists. They will heat it up for you. But that is more of a plus side! Breakfast spread is good. Even for halal, we were quite happy with our scrambled eggs and crispy soft waffles, cereal and bread. The high ceiling to floor windows of the city is to die for! Overall, we felt like royalty. Will definitely choose this hotel again if we plan to come back in the summer!

Hotel room interior is all new and clean. Interior design is classy. Facilities are good with nice shower, with water pressure is strong. Appreciate the amenity provided, Nice shower gel and shampoo smell. Room with balcony, and you can sit at the balcony enjoying the scenery. Location is good and recommended. Within walking distance to Black Port Street and Jeju Dongmun Market. Just our from the hotel, along the street is the sashimi street where you can find all the sashimi restaurant. Thus, no problem to hunt for food. Across the hotel is 7-11 and McDonalds is nearby too. Located by the sea and harbour, so you can get a good view of harbour and seaview. Once out from hotel, there is a big walkway along the sea coastline, thus definitely a good spot for sea lover. Staff is friendly and English speaking. No problem in communication. Overall, this hotel is recommended and worth the money for comfortable stay in Jeju Downtown.

Pros: The hotel is located strategically near the shopping street of downtown Jeju. Loads of good restaurants around serving good food. The hotel manager is very helpful when we ask him for directions for restaurants nearby. He even walk out to make sure tt we did not walk the wrong direction. Cons: However, the counter staffs are not that helpful. For instance, we asked the hotel for assistance to book a cab to get to airport the following morning as we are afraid that it might be difficult to get a cab during the morning rush hour, but the hotel staff refused and asked us to go to the front to flag for a cab instead. In addition, the cleanliness of the hotel room needs to be improved as well. We book the room w jacczi, we reckoned that the jaccuzi may hv been left unused for some time. As a result when we turn on the motor, there were a lot of dirt and small insect flying out. Yucks!!! Other part of the room still consider clean.

4D3N stay at Amber Hotel Jeju. The hotel staff at reception counter can speak Chinese and English very well. Housekeeping staff also friendly and always smile warmly to hotel guests. The rooms are clean and well-maintained. We like the beds & pillows as really so comfortable that we don't wish to wake up so fast. There are cafes, fried chicken restaurants, local Korean restaurants, street shops nearby the hotel which is easily accessible by walking or short distance cab. We will recommend Amber Hotel Jeju to our friends too.

We had a great stay at Best Western Hotel. The room was lovely and and very roomy for three big luggages. The sink is at the dressing table instead of being inside the bathroom, so that was quite strange to get used to. Reception staff recommended us nice places to go for food (wrote the address on paper for the taxi drivers and all) and assisted us to book a taxi to the airport. Only fault was that we couldn't toggle the room temperature, so we had to open the windows to get some air in. Would stay here again!

we stayed there with our two daughters to have a sightseeing near jeju-city area during chinese new year holiday. the hotel was a bit old but very neat & clean. we enjoyed warm & comfortable atmosphere of 'ondol' room which is recommendable for those who travel with infants or very young children in korea. they also provided us with a good-sized humidifier in the room as well as a pram for my second daughter as we have requested them on the first day. during the stay, hotel concierge helped us a lot to find out nice restaurants, sightseeing destinations and shopping areas within the city area and they were fantastic!!

Not crowded, but convenient to malls, shops and market. Next to a big supermarket, close to many restaurants, 15 min walk to dong mun market(wonderful place to shop and sightseeing). Hotel itself has good options of restaurants. Dinner was great. Breakfast was decent too. Friendly and very smart staff, well trained. Room is a bit old but clean and well maintained. Very big 5 star resort hotel, it serves all the purposes beautifully.

Room is relatively small as compared to our stay in island blue hotel at the south of Jeju but the design layout with a modern finish gave us a spacious feeling. Everything are very new and comparable to stars hotel we stayed in other countries before ,except that there are no facilities. The reception staffs have been a great help when we wish to check out fishing trip and nearby amenities. Parking is a breeze as there is on site staff to take care of it with their high tech, space efficient parking system. Overall, it is a great experience to stay in hotel with jeju! Thanks~

Location was great for catching a morning flight. There were alot of shops around the hotel where you could go about shopping for last minute items before you leave. Staffs tried their best to help you but I felt that there were a lack of staff as when we checked in there was only one guy at reception and he was helping several guests all by himself. I do salute him however as he really did do his best to accommodate to all the guests. Nevertheless, the hotel was super clean and rooms were really big for the price paid.

Although the cleanliness need to be improved, I would stay this hotel again. The staff helped me to reserve a restaurant. The hotel also gave a list of recommended restaurants nearby. It was very convenient. I saw many Chinese and Korean lived in this hotel. I can use the computer and keep my luggage on lobby. It is better to find the taxi by yourself because it will be more expensive if you ask the hotel staff for help.

I stayed for 3 nights in a comfortable double room. Lots of space for luggage and good size bathroom. The hotel is surrounded by plenty of convenience stores, places to eat and a great cafe right next door - About Coffee & Dessert. A taxi takes about 10 mins from the airport. I would recommend paying for the breakfast here, as it is reasonably priced with a decent delicious selection of food. The staff were all friendly, spoke English and were very helpful.

The location was why we booked this place. Near to the airport, bus terminal and eateries. Going to the airport was the only time we used the cab and it only cost us 4800 won . The staffs were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and beds were made everyday. There's a small convenient store on the ground level. The downside of this hotel is that they only give 1 room key ( I Guess it's a Korean thing) and to enter the gym, you need to pay a certain fee. Toothbrush and toothpaste are not provided. Toilet lack of racks. Overall, would definitely come back again.

I can't sing enough praise for this small family hotel. The room was lovely and modern, but what makes the place remarkable is the service. We woke up at 12:00 pm called them in a panic asked for a late checkout they agreed and said 1:00 pm then we showed up at the front desk and asked them if they could arrange a half day tour of the island for us. Within ten minutes they had booked us a great taxi tour for about 60 usd. This was a much better price than anything we found on the Internet. The taxi driver was lovely, enthusiastic and honest and seriously showed up with 15 minutes of our original request. We came back they recommended a restaurant for dinner then dropped us off at the airport free of charge to make our flight to Seoul. The owner even offered us a free ride to the west side of the island when we were contemplating a taxi tour. Unbelievable. We travel all the time and I've never encountered staff like this. They also own another hotel right near the beach--this is a total gem of a place. The hotel is really close to the airport so it is especially good for business travelers coming from China. The only thing negative I can say is the bed was a bit hard. We will definitely be back and will happily book Hotel Haru again and again.

It has whatever you will need for a place to sleep overnight. Staffs cant speak much english and one of them made us wait almost 30minutes for check in without even a sorry for his inefficiency. Parking space right in front of the lobby is small and can at most accommodate 15 cars. Do not, however, turn in into the multi storey carpark right opposite the hotel as you would need to pay for it. Get the hotel staff to advise on alternative free parking sites very nearby.

The room has a balcony and it's facing the temple opposite the hotel. It was winter with heavy snow, the balcony was filled with snow and with a snowy white view of the temple opposite, it was superb! Room wasn't spacious but it fits the 4 of us, so we are satisfied. Bus stop is just 5-10 mins walk away from the hotel, and there's convenient shop located just the opposite road of the hotel. Walk about 10 mins you'll find restaurants. It quite near to Iho Taewoo beach, it took us about 25-30 mins to reach the beach by walk. Overall, satisfy with the 2 nights stay.

Hotel in a good location, easy to reach some sightseeing sites by walking. Olle market located at the back of the hotel. The bus stop in front is very useful. Lots of restaurants n mini-marts in the area. The hotel is new and clean.....nothing much to complain...the bed is nice and really love the hair conditioner the provided. A plus is easily reached and locates the hotel taking airport limousine 800 or 800-1(about 1-hour n 10 mins fare 5000 won).

booked this hotel after reading and comparing reviews to different places. i did not know what to expect. we had a late arrival, after getting accommodated in our rooms, we inquired about grabbing dinner somewhere. the owner told us about a vips restaurant and offered to give us a ride when we were ready. when we were ready, we went down to the lobby and the owner was waiting for us. he not only took us vips, he also picked us up and took us around jeju. best of all, he took us to the airport at 8am the day we left! our room was cleaned everyday, fresh towels/linens/more coffee. the owner was very helpful and excited about sharing information about jeju and offered many options for site seeing. the reason why hotel is in great location, is because it is not far from the airport and right behind the 502 bus (which takes you to the bus terminal in less than 20 minutes- from there you can get anywhere in jeju). from the airport- as many people are not fluent in english you should tell your cab driver you are going to nulsong parktel not goodstay. also mention that it is behind hawaii officetel.
