"Room was smaller than we thought, but the view absolutely made up for it! The man at the front desk was so sweet, explained everything well, and had great recommendations to boot. The room was clean, but the best part was the view. You open the door and are instantly met by the ocean. It was amazing after driving over 7 hours. Will definitely stay there again. "

"Knew it was an efficiency but it was extremely small but knew we had to make it work. Immediately realized the air conditioner did not work! Room never cooled down. Ever.
Floor was filthy. Feet would be black if you walked barefoot.
So yourself a favor and avoid 811a.
Location of Surfside was good though."

My wife, dog, and I enjoyed the stay. Check in / check out went smoothly and the hotel is clean and in a great location. There is a boardwalk next to it that takes you to the beach. Highly recommend for a family that wants to go to Miramar Beach at a reasonable price.
