The hotel is perfect in my opinion, one of the main waitresses was not rude but neither did she show much interest in her work, looked like she was annoyed by most things we foreigners did. Apart from that, nothing bad to say about the actual hotel. The only bad thing (and in my opinion VERY annoying) is the construction sites around the hotel. Right across the street they had multiple excavators hammering bedrock from 8am to 10pm, forget your sleep ins, room chilling, hanging around the pool if you are disturbed by noises. Perhaps you think I’m one of these very easily annoyed people, I’m not. The sounds are SO loud, even with earplugs, noisecancelling in ears and music very high these sounds go through. Beds are like in the rest of asia, very hard with good pillows but high rise, might not suit everyone. Pros - Very clean - Perfect condition on everything - Tasty breakfeast - Nice rooms - Good staff - 10min walk to the beach Cons - Much construction going on around, working every day and long shifts. This is not the hotels fault but I think people should take it into consideration as it bothered me enormously. Nothing else to say really, if the construction is gone this hotel would be perfect in my opinion.

Nice local/exotic fruit bearing trees. Well maintained surroundings. Nice accommodations of Ifugao inspired villas. Well thought of designs of the villas, very detailed.. May be few distance away from the Alona Beach but was all worth it... The price of menu in Paprika is competitive to the ones offered along Alona Beach, so worth the gastronomic experience. Quality cuisine at competitive price (to Alona Beach front restaurants) It is where we will stay the next we visit Bohol.

No private access at the moment so you have to walk on the beach a little to get there, but the hotel provides people to carry any luggage from parking to room. Classy place. We were 2 couples staying at this hotel. We booked the deluxe (lower floor) and our friends the level above which is second floor but not much difference in room apart from decor and different furnishings. Rooms were a good size with good air con. The only negative factor was that we only had a top blanket with no top sheet - in 30C heat! We of course we too hot every night and couldn't see the sense in this! The staff were very friendly and when we asked them the way to the beach they actually came with us to show the way which was just 5 minute walk although bring a torch as very dark when walking back at night. This was a hotel with 18 rooms so very quiet and we were often the only ones in the pool. Take mozzie repellent as there are quite a few around and our friend stood on sea urchin on beach so beware! We paid 400 pesos for car from ferry port which I think was quite good. Drivers name was Jesse and we organised countryside tour with him for same price as the company that does this but having our own transport meant the tour was more flexible at 1150 pesos with all fees incl. The breakfast was simple but all that we needed with choice of omelette or eggs and bacon with tea or coffee and juice and for price of hotel consider a good deal.

This was 1st time staying here, and I loved it! I wish I had booked it for longer stay. Location was absolutely perfect! Walking distance from Alona Beach. Manni the owner was so friendly, courteous, helpful and funny! He treats his guests very well, talks to them, assist them if they have any needs or questions. The rooms were massive and super clean! Their staff were very considerate, they allowed us to checkin earlier since we had to go Island Hopping and they allowed us to leave our things in the room 4hours before the standard checkin time. After coming back from Island Hopping, they gave us juice and towels which we really appreciated. The hotel is new. Seems like they're bldg more villas. The lady in the front desk said that the pool will be finished 1st week of August. So that's nice. Regarding the room, it's really clean. The pillows and sheets smell like detergent, but the blanket...i must say...smell something sour. The bathroom is really nice, they have the basic shampoo conditioner soap. With location, it is 15-20mins walk to Alona Beach when you take the main road. But it's just 5mins away, when you take the shortcut which is using the front beach hotel near Positano to pass thru (ask the staff about this). All in all, it was a great stay. We stay in this hotel of 2 nights On Feb 7 & 8 and the room was big! We booked 3 rooms for 7 people but somehow we could all fit in one room. That is how big the room is. Wifi is average and pool is clean. There are only 2 pools, 1 is chest water deep and the other is 7 feet. We found out that it is used for practice SCUBA. The "chef" seems like on a call basis. So it you are really hungry, there is no such thing as fast food. Overall, my friends and I generally liked our stay there.

We had a great and comfy stay without spending too much! The room was clean, the bed was cozy, AC functioning well and a cabled TV. The bathroom was nice and tidy too! We had a great and comfy stay without spending too much! The room was clean, the bed was cozy, AC functioning well and a cabled TV. The bathroom was nice and tidy too! I heard they’re currently renovating rooms and luckily we got one of the renovated ones so it was a super perfect stay. Plus the staffs are all welcoming especially MARLON who assisted us all throughout and made sure we have a comfortable stay. I will definitely recommend this hotel especially for budget travelers like me! Location is in between Panglao and Tagbilaran so you will be just one ride away to the city center for food trips. Also it’s just like 15-20mins away from the airport :)

The place was also near to the beach (200 meters - 3-5 mins walk), and right beside the Bellevue Resort. The beach of Doljo is excellent! White sandy beach with beautiful blue waters, and great snorkeling right in front of it. (Although the best snorkeling part for me, was right around the corners of the Rocky Doljo Point - very alive, still healthy and many fishes)

I would recommend staying here if you have your own transportation. There are no restaurants or entertainment within walking distance of this hotel. For food we went to Alona beach to eat at the restaurants there via bus, motorcycle and tricycle. There were ants in our room coming from outside. It's modest, well kept, and very neat. The owner is eager to help and can give advice about which areas to visit in Bohol. For me, Php 1,200+ is a reasonable enough for how organized and clean this place is! Breakfast is included too during our stay, all stuff is grown from her garden out in the back! The only downside about this place is the location. A little far from the Panglao beach area, not a problem for me since I hate crowds. I liked the area because of the peace and quiet you get. The people around the neighborhood are just warm and happy. Also, it's only a 20-30 minute drive to the airport. As for the facilities, I think there is still room for improvement especially on the door locks and the overall safety of the customers. A mere "I'll be downstairs and you can trust the people around here" kind of speech is not something that can make foreigners feel safe. But overall, pretty good enjoyable stay!
