We stayed here for 3 nights around Easter time, and were really pleased with the hotel. The hotel design is very over the top, but, its a bit like Vegas, tacky but done well. The rooms are comfortable, luxurious and clean, but not the best we have seen for a 5 star resort. The hotel is huge and the gardens are beautiful. The swimming pool (over 30 degrees) and 3 Jacuzzis (almost 40 degrees) were amazing, was so nice to swim up until midnight in the lit pool when the weather was so cold and rainy outside. The sauna by the pool was fantastic too, and they lend you fluffy bathrobes to dash between the changing rooms and pool area, everything was very well thought out. We spent most days out exploring Jeju island, then evenings relaxing in the hotel and in the pool. The food in the Korean restaurant was lovely, we went for the tasting menu and there was so much food, all cooked to perfection, lovely local ingredients and flavours, really enjoyable. Great having the bakery in the lobby, nice to be able to take snacks for a day trip. The staff were friendly and helpful and all trained very well. But we had one negative experience. We asked the hotel to book us an English driver for the day, and the driver was appalling. He drove erratically, had no seat belts in the car,y and his English was so poor that we felt ripped off paying more for an 'English' guide! He asked us to pay for his lunch (even though it was supposed to be included in the day rate). Then drove slowly and swerved all over the place, meaning we had to pay an extra hour to cover the sights that we had planned. We were surprised that the hotel recommended this driver. At the end of the day, we mentioned to the hotel, and they dismissed it so we went to talk to concierge who apologised. We were not after an apology, but really wanted them to remove this driver from their list so that other guests do not have the same negative experience.

Hotel was so clean throughout the rooms and facility, it was a pleasant stay! Their customer service was also awesome, greeted by staff from parking lot, and assisted with luggage all the way to your room. Staffs were so polite and kind. Their follow up service was amazing !! They were even avle to trace back call history and assist. I would rate this hotel 5/5 for their professionalism in serving customer with their clean facility and excellent customer service!!

We stayed in two superior rooms in the main building (mountain view), one on the 4th floor and one on the 6th floor. As a reference the 7th floor is the top floor, the lobby is on 5th, the restaurants on 3rd and Spa/Fitness/Playrooms are on 1st floor. As we had notified the hotel in advance that our wedding anniversary was the first day of our stay, there was a celebration cake complete with candles and knife waiting for us in both rooms actually (you see my mother-in-law and my father were travelling with us so we needed two separate rooms). There was also complimentary chocolate and mineral water. The only downside was the check-in procedure which they messed up. They asked us to take a seat and gave us some refreshments, but then completely forgot all about us. We had to remind them that we were waiting to check-in and only then did they ask for our name. Then it took another 20 minutes before we got our rooms. Apparently they were over booked as we had called the reception a few days earlier and confirmed one twin and one double (both non-smoking). We were given two twin rooms, and the one on the 4th floor was a smoking room. Normally, I would complained but I was too tired to discuss with the staff at that time. I thought I could always do it the next day as we were staying two nights. Earlier that day we had drove all the way from Jeju Island's east coast, climbing Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak, walking along Seopjikoji, feeding animals and picking mandarins from trees at a local orchard, visiting Cheonjiyeon Falls.. We were all tired and hungry, and given the fact that we were travelling with a 3-year old and a 6-months old baby, all we wanted at the moment was to rest and get some dinner. We could always deal with the smoking room later, even though the smell was obvious. HOWEVER, given the fact that everything else was pretty much perfect I'm sure the hotel would have upgraded our room to either ocean view or a more luxiorious room if we had complained

Thoroughly enjoyed my first stay back in 2017 and needed no persuasion to check in again this time. Just as I remembered, the check-in process was amazing - done over a cup of tea and cookies. Breakfast at Narnia was absolutely delicious and the best part ab...Two for Two. Checked in to Bayhill the two times I've travelled to Jeju and have absolutely no regrets doing so. Breakfast at Narnia was absolutely delicious and the best part about Bayhill is that it is far away from the hustle and bustle of noisy tour groups and is ideal for some Rest & Relax. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful - managed to secure us some last minute tickets to The Nanta show too.

Three of us stayed in the twin room and it was spacious and comfortable. The sea view was great and relaxing. The buffet, coffee shop and bornga(bbq restaurant attached to hotel) was delicious and value for money! Especially the bibimbap and bbq at bornga is a must eat! I was in Jeju Island for a conference held in the International Convention Center. This hotel is a little over a kilometer away from ICC Jeju. It has a coffee shop near the reception area, a convenience store next to the building and a wide array of shops and restaurants within walking distance to the hotel so one wouldn't worry about getting supplies or food. It's also pretty safe with a police station and a fire station nearby so one would feel secure in the area. The staff were very helpful with my requests and the room amenities were sufficient for my stay. I found it very helpful that although most of the instructions in the room were in Korean, the hotel provided English translations for the various controls in the room (the only one I couldn't find a guide for was the alarm clock, but it was no big deal). The WiFi was pretty good too and there were plenty of power sockets for work. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would recommend this place to other people too. :)

this was a well above average stay at a wonderful four star hotel near jungmung resort on the south coast of jeju island, south korea. smaller than it's two massive casino hotel neighbours but nevertheless well appointed and excellently located near all the attractions, my wife and i were well pleased with our stay. however, they advertise themselves as 5 star and i...this was a well above average stay at a wonderful four star hotel near jungmung resort on the south coast of jeju island, south korea. smaller than it's two massive casino hotel neighbours but nevertheless well appointed and excellently located near all the attractions, my wife and i were well pleased with our stay. however, they advertise themselves as 5 star and in typical korean fashion, they create their own scoring system rather following the internationally recognised hotel star system. for example, a 5 star hotel must have 24 hour room service and this hotel did not. there were tea making facilities but only korean green tea. no coffee or the usual lipton/twinings black tea you would find in an international 5 star. also there was no visible porter service and no one to greet us/open the door as we entered. these are all trappings of a real 5 star hotel. one final gripe is that the hotel lobby bar/restaurant was extremely expensive with a burger and a local beer going for over 20 dollars. my wife and i noticed that with the exception of the buffet breakfast, the bar/restaurant seemed totally abandoned by the hotel guest. they need to have realistic prices out of season. otherwise a really nice hotel at a reasonable price: recommended!

If the purpose of the trip is to get away and to enjoy the nature, The WE hotel will be an excellent choice. Its location is in the middle of "nowhere." So one would need to have a rental car to get around. We didn't book the ocean view room because of the price, but we were really happy of the mountain view room. If the weather is a bit cooler we would definitely spend more time outdoor. We also spent time using the indoor & outdoor pools and hot tub and loved it. Big facility and not too many guests. Make sure you have a swim cap though, or you can buy one for about $5. The room is also very nice, AC is quiet and bed is super comfortable. The only thing that didn't work well was the shower door, couldn't close all the way. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

Ambience of the place is good... very cozy and well maintained. The room is bigger than what was on the picture. The service provided by the hotel staff was excellent and very helpful. They even go the extra mile to ensure things went well. Staff are English friendly and if not they will do their best to communicate with you which made things easier for us. Hotel is close to several restaurants ( and attractions in the Jungmun area (waterfalls, pacific land, Museums), if driving, so a car is recommended when staying in this area. I booked Booyoung hotel on line on Agoda.com at around 6 pm, took a flight, arrived at the hotel after 10 pm. When I was checking in, I showed the front desk the Agoda confirmation email with a full payment, but they would not honor it. They told me to run my credit card otherwise, I will not be able to check into the hotel room. The following day, when I was checki...I booked Booyoung hotel on line on Agoda.com at around 6 pm, took a flight, arrived at the hotel after 10 pm. When I was checking in, I showed the front desk the Agoda confirmation email with a full payment, but they would not honor it. They told me to run my credit card otherwise, I will not be able to check into the hotel room. The following day, when I was checking out, they asked me to sign the room charge. I had no choice but to sign, otherwise, they are considering me trying to stay over night for free. I signed, and now I see the Booyoung hotel charge showing up on my Credit card statement in addition to Agoda.com charge. I informed Agoda.com customer service, and I hope to get a refund. Otherwise, the hotel is nice, the staff members courteous, the location is good, and it is a nice hotel (for those people who do not have a billing problem).

There is a laundry shop at this location Cheonjeyeon-ro 214 (064-738-8474) and there's a self-service laundry just two shops away at a lower cost.

The AC unit in the room couldn’t be plugged in as it’s mounted too high above the door. The WiFi had issues cutting out on me and I couldn’t connect all my devices. This property is part residence and part hotel. Room is actually a 1 bedroom apartment. It comes with kitchen but sadly missing pots and utensil. At least there's a washing machine but panel is in Korean. There's quite a number of eateries around. As we are only staying for the night, it suffice to say that it exceeded my expectation. Overall, it's a good place to stay if you're exploring the southern and western coast of Jeju Island. Just remember parking lots is limited so you might have to park along the roadside.

Indeed it is in a very remote and inconvenient area, however it is 10mins walk from O’Sulloc Tea Museum with bus stops and buses from the airport and southern part of the island(Seogwipo). The rooms are very big with amazing view to the tea fi...I’ve eye this accommodation few years ago ever since I want to visit Jeju Island one day and glad I finally came and stay here. Indeed it is in a very remote and inconvenient area, however it is 10mins walk from O’Sulloc Tea Museum with bus stops and buses from the airport and southern part of the island(Seogwipo). The rooms are very big with amazing view to the tea field and Sanbangsan(we stayed in two rooms). The only down side of this accommodation I would say would be the front desk receptionists. They were not helpful in directions, especially already noting this hotel is in a remote area which is hard to access without car, but do have buses, they weren’t able to assist us how to get around with public transportation. We did all the research all by ourselves in despite of not understanding Korean. And one of the woman receptionist even started to walk away from the front desk as they see foreigner(us) approached. The hotel itself are amazing, however I suggest more internal training for staffs.

The owners were nothing but amazing! They greet you each time you come through the door and are genuinely helpful and concerned for you! As the pics show, it is a beautiful new and modern building that was clean and comfortable. Great views of the ocean from the balconies, and its located centrally to all the sites in the southern area of jeju, so nothing is more than...The owners were nothing but amazing! There is a nature park just below, where they have an amazing free swimming spot with a wall in the sea. Fresh water flows down from the mountains and mixes with the waves! So beautiful!
