stayed 2 nights for my birthday celebration, loved the hotel and our room was very nice and clean. The beds were very comfy as well!!

The staff were polite and patient, checking in was a breeze. They do require a $100 deposit upon check-in so be aware. It seems that due to the low price and location there are alot of folks on hotel vouchers staying there. However, it is safe and clean on the inside. Great value if you just need a place to stay for the night in San Diego.

Great location for sea world or main San Diego only 15mins drive we arrived very early but was allowed to check in staff were great and friendly got some good tips on where to go hotel is near shops and restaurants all walking distance if you don't want to drive you can hear planes go over to airport but didn't bother us so much to do we were worn out nice size rooms ...

Easy to find with restaurants across the street. An medium sized outdoor pool would be perfect if there is a toilet/ change room next to it. Above standard motel with nice staff and lots of travel info available. Wash basin separately located next to the bed which was a bit weird. Overall it is a great place to stay en route a road trip.

We ended up here after being screwed over by another hotel. It was spur of the moment. HoJo didn't blink. They got us squared away quick and even had patience with us the next when it took us forever to leave. I would tell you...go stay at HoJo they are like family.

We'd stayed for around a week there. The car could be just parked outside the door. The breakfast has limited choice, and not tasty at all. Do not expect much on the breakfast. Firstly, the parking at $15 a day is a known charge, but it still feels like a ripoff. Staff were not helpful at all when we didnt want to take their Sea World package, but were enquiring about the Go San Diego pass. With its own marina The Dana offers a perfect setting for staying in San Diego but away from hustle bustle of city. Very good location and easy access to most attractions in San Diego. Staff very good and helpful especially front reception. One of the best so far I have encountered. Cleanliness top notch. I would not hesitate to stay here again on my next trip.
