There are many wonderful small shops for you to explore on your way to Sensoji temple. What was great about Richmond Premier was that it was linked to a 4-storey building which had restaurants from level 2, 3 and 4. On level 1 was a small food market selling local snacks. Lawsons is a 2-minute walk away and 7-11 about 4 minutes from the hotel. Housekeeping staff was great as the room was always cleaned well. Front desk staff were also polite and professional. Wifi-strength in the room was also strong. There were 3 levels with laundry rooms which you can actually check the status of the washer from the TV in your room. The level my room was in, level 11, has a microwave oven and vending machine.

We were also delighted, being there on a Saturday, to see several couples in traditional garb departing the hotel for the SenSoji Temple.

Location is excellent. The hotel is near to so many shops, restaurants and street food stalls at Asakusa. The popular Nakamise street and Sensoji Temple where beautiful spots abound are 15 to 20 minutes stroll. The Tokyo Skytree can be seen and walkable. It is literally neighbor to Tawaramachi Station that has elevators if one has heavy luggage going to and coming from...Location is excellent. No hassles coming from and going to Narita via Ginza Line, Ueno Station and Keisei Line. Room is spotless. The room we stayed in during our 9 night stay was always cleaned and refreshed with amenities especially the bathroom. The rooms have enough privacy because the doors face a semi-outdoor opening at the building interior. Consider limited space though in bringing large luggage. It can be managed nonetheless. Check-in and check-out is a breeze because it is somewhat computerized. Staff at the reception are friendly. Food at the Komeda Cafe at the ground floor is simple but to our liking.

The vending machine is on the first floor so it's easy to find beverage in night time. Family mart is far from the hotel about 300 metres. We stay here for 8 nights and 7 days. And it was very satisfied moments.. The location was superb!! Near mrt ginza and asakusa line. Near sensoji temple and donquijote also. The hotel room very spacious too for japan hotel. And they also provide night pajamas for sleeps everyday.. they also have an onsens for those who stay at the hotel. Too bad I have no time to try the food as I always in a hurry every morning. What I don't like about the hotel is the room temperature, it is so warm i even sleep in sweat hahaha May be because outside weather is cold so the room is adapting so we can not adjust the air con, the staff hotel said that the room temperature is centralized so we can not adjust it

I think the price we got from Agoda was due to the pandemic, but it was really cheap for such a high-end hotel. If possible, we'd book here again in the future.

We book this hotel mainly because of the famous architect. The price is actually a little bit over budget, considering the nights we stayed. But it really offers more than the architecture itself. The rooftop, another reason we book the hotel, opens only from5-7 pm, and closed during rainy days. So, basically, for travelers we don't have time to peak the view from the rooftop anyway. They upgraded our room to the street side, so supposedly, we can see the skytree, but, due to the angle problem ... we have to adjust our neck very much to see the great view. But we still appreciate. The neighborhood is anyway nice to have a view. The hotel offers free breakfast, simple but with sufficient and in time supply. Western breakfast style, with bread bacon eggs... and fresh fruits. The breakfast itself offers a lot of energy for us to explore the city. And the coffee there is also good. In terms of the location, I have to say, if one of the travel propose for you is shopping, then probably you should go to shinjuku or somewhere in the west part of the city. The hotel locates at Oshiage, northeast part of central Tokyo. At least 30 min necessary for you to travel to any other spot, except Asakusa and Ueno. But, the neighborhood around the hotel is quite local and neat, which offers you a view of their local life. Several restaurants near the hotel is nice, one bento station name origins and one BBQ worth trying after your whole day city trip.

The ramen and karagae (fried chicken) are the must try food! Very delicious! You should come early because it is full during lunch hour and you have to wait several minutes to get a seat. There is one halal sushi restaurant near the hotel too. And halal chicken kebab in front of the hotel (but the beef is not halal). The room is super clean and beautiful! I love the blind because it has picture of japan culture. Same goes to their toilet door, it has a skytree picture on it. The shampoo, conditioner and shower cream are all green tea base. Super love the smell! And the green tea provided in the room is the best! One thing this hotel lack is the microwave. It does not have a microwave, and the 7-11 near this hotel also does not have a microwave. I love to buy the fish that you can eat after heat from 7-11 and I couldn't do so during my stay here. But overall I will definitely stay again in this hotel.

My stay at the APA Hotel was very comfortable. The room was small, but cozy and just perfect for me. The bed was super comfortable and there was a big screened TV, coffee pot and refrigerator for snacks with a 7-11 across the street and a little market down the street. I am a solo female traveler and I felt safe in this area. The hotel is within walking distance to the train. The Sensoji Temple and Asakusa shopping street can also be walked to. Kappabashi Street is not too far either. The Ginza Line which is near the hotel can be taken to the Shibuya Station where there is a lot going on. I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel and would not hesitate to return if I was ever in Tokyo again.

Great location and very hospitable staff. So happy with our room even if its small. We are a family of two adults and two kids. We really appreciated the free light breakfast everyday. And the view of the Tokyo Skytree and Sumida river was priceless. We see it from our room everyday. Since i'm not familiar with bus station so i just took a walk from the asakusa train station.., and i'm so suprised.. its quite far, about 30 minutes walk... then i found out there are a nearby station but different line from asakusa station, just 10 minutes walk from the hotel.. overall its a nice experience.. nice neighborhood , quiet plac...This place is quite good.. We opted to walk going to the Oshiage station instead of Hikifune even if the walk was longer because the sceneries were good and refreshing. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. Everyday we pass by 2 schools, a park and a play gym. And it made our walk worthy!
