We celebrated my Mom at Tokyo and decided to stay at Cerulean Tower for convenience. Accessibility of Transportation from Narita-Hotel-Narita, Excellent service, I observed that each customer was treated with special attention and quality service, communication is not a barrier in this hotel. Room was very clean/ neat, we had a good panoramic view and was able to see Mt. Fuji last Nov 23, (morning) and Nov 26 :) Accessibility from the hotel to Shibuya crossing, Restaurants, Shopping and JR/ Metro station is very convenient. From hotel use the bridge at the 2nd floor (right side) then elevator(down to main street), 1st street turn right and alley will lead you to different resto's and shopping and shibuya crossing. I suggest this route if you prefer to go to that area, but if you wanted to go to JR/Metro go to 2nd floor, turn right there is an escalator near 7/11 then walk straight, then there is a stairs/ bridge to cross going to metro / JR station. Thumbs up!

We loved our room, upgraded to high floor with the best view of shibuya crossing. You get what you pay for, room was a bit expensive but watching shibuya crossing was one of the highlights of our trip. Room was large for Japan standards. Staff was helpful but not really good English speakers. Don't miss Midori sushi on 4th floor of Mark City attached to hotel (unforgettable sushi, good Price). Tokyu Food show is accessible underneath the hotel. Convenience stores all around the area of hotel. Free in-room Wi-fi is fast enough and has strong signal. Shower curtains had funky smell, room had a hint of smoky smell (maybe from Smoking floors) but all bearable. Expensive but convenient for us especially travelling with 3y/o toddler and first timer in Tokyo. Train stations just an elevator ride away. Room 2201 has corner view, great experience. Check out was a breeze. We took airport limo bus from airport to hotel and vice versa. Very convenient especially travelling with kids and big luggages. The hotel is one of the bus stops. Travel time is almost 2 hours to and from Narita. I will definitely stay here given with acceptable price.

Location is very close to Shibuya Station (where you can also find Shibuya Crossing and Hachiko Statue). Hotel is just beside BicCamera and Mcdonalds. There is also the Mizuho Bank for foreign exchange. Wide choice for breakfast, although its been the same for our 5 days stay. The good thing is that we were able to try almost everything. Walking distance from other establishments like Ichiran, shopping malls, clothing brands and Don Quijote (24hrs open). In my experience, I booked 2 twin bedrooms and accidentally chose Smoking rooms but I just emailed them if its possible to change to Non-smoking and they grant our request. I also ask if its possible to have our 2 rooms beside each other and they also grant it. They would tidy your room, replenish toiletries and change towels/robes every time you leave the hotel. Easy check-in and check-out. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in Tokyu REI and will definitely recommend it to our friends.

We stayed here for 3 nights, and it was a great stay! The hotel is really new, with good-sized rooms. The rooms are clean, neat with a (for Japan) large bathroom and nice amenities. It comes with a fridge and tea/coffee-making facilities. The hotel even has a free public bath and sauna - so nice! It even provides free ramen at night and a free beer the first night! The night's stay also comes with a decent breakfast. The service is good even though most of the staff cannot speak much English. Location-wise, the hotel is in the middle of Shibuya and Harajuku. It is hard to find at first, so we recommend taking a taxi from Shibuya Station the first time to orientate yourself. The rest of the time, it is an easy walk to shops, restaurants, etc. Only 5-10 minutes away from the famous Shibuya crossing, Harajuku shopping area and Omotesando. Definitely highly recommend this hotel.

By train : Henada airport to Shibuya station (40 min ) Purchase ticket to Shibuya Yamanote 580 yen($5.60) Follow signs for keikyu line (platform # 2). Take train towards shinagawa Exit at shinagawa Take JR Yamanote line on platform #2 Exit at Shibuya station Exit west entrance Walk on overhead bridge and exit on the "tennis court SIGN side" (green sign on building ) . At Bottom of stairs turn left as if ur making a u-turn. Walk Pass the Family Mart to the next block The street is between Kirin city restaurant and Sukiya restaurant. Walk up the small hill(2min walk). Hotel on left side . Same building as the Italian tapas restaurant (people sitting outside at night ) . The hotel sign faces down the hill, so u won't see it looking up the hill. Enter hotel by Pushing the large Wooden doors. Fast check in . Awesome staff English speaking very well designed, but small for 6'00 person and above . Full size bed(firm). Nice linen Japanese toilet(heated seat and more). Strong water pressure Air conditioning Refrigerator, Flat screen Plenty of Toilet tres. Hair dryer No hand cream Check out 11am. You can request for late check out at 12pM. Can leave bags at hotel to explore the city Surroundings : Lots of eateries The famous Shibuya crossing (10 min walk) walking along JR Shibuya station and turn left towards the 4ever 21 neon lights . Sushi and izakayas close at 3 am . Nightlife everywhere Things to know : Hotel Breakfast is service in two restaurant . Level #1 is western style BF Level # 2 is Japanese style BF I over slept and did not partake . Money changer left side after exiting customs. Money changer near hotel. Ask staff Bags can be sent to narita airport from hotel(advance notice needed)

Pros: - very close 8-10 minute walk to shibuya crossing. - Far enough so that it’s not so noisy at night. - JR line and Shibuya Station only a 10 minute walk - lots of food places to choose from - lots of shops and drug stores available - 7/11, family mart a 1 minute walk away at your convenience - staff were super friendly and spoke excellent English - shibuya hotel EN also offered a simple pastry breakfast, enough to get your coffee and a quick bite before venturing out - staff were great to book our tickets and offered to wave a taxi for us so that we could catch the taxi to another hotel to catch airport bus instead of train Cons: -rooms are smaller than what you expect for a hotel but reasonable for Japan’s standard - didn’t have cot for infant available, ended up sharing a large double bed with my husband and my 7 month old in between It was a fantastic stay for us besides the bed situation. Would stay with them again for their fantastic staff and service.

The place was clean, the staff were nice, the wifi was fast. Do not expect too much for the breakfast; it is just coffee, bread, and jam. The room though is very very small. Not overreacting or anything, but it is really small. We just placed our luggages under the bed so we could have more space for ourselves; but still it was too small for us to move around. The place was a bit far from Shibuya (crossing, Hachiko statue, etc.) and Shinjuku, but easily accessible by train.

This hotel definitely has an older, “vintage” feel to it, but my travel buddy and I found it to be cozy in that sense. Be warned, if you’re walking here from Shibuya station, it requires walking a couple of blocks uphill (tricky if you have a lot of luggage with you) as well as crossing a pedestrian overpass (all the more tricky if you have a lot of luggage) which is about two flights of stairs high. Physical effort aside, this hotel is so close to Shibuya crossing and Shibuya station making a great value for the cost. Our room had a double bed, desk with chair, small flat screen TV, kettle, mini fridge and coat rack with hangers provided (no closet). There was enough room for both of us to have our suitcases open simultaneously to pack. Bathroom is equipped with a hair dryer. Slippers were also provided. The staff were very friendly and spoke English well. We were also offered complimentary bottled water daily. I highly recommend this hotel. We’d definitely stay again!

warm and friendly staff 5-7 min walk to shibuya crossing sheets and room are cleaned everyday, bathroom amenities replenished they have a kiddie kit (slippers, toothbrush, hand towel) for my toddler too! near starbucks, 7-11 we love family mart a few blocks away from donki and tje shopping/ eating area quiet area, though the road to the hotel from shibuya crossing is a bit uphill not a big deal though :) will definitely stay here again!

Would absolutely stay at Emit on future Tokyo trips where prefer to be steps from big-city action/activities/transportation, yet in a tucked-away nook that is quiet. Hotel is super clean, "cozy," quiet, with friendly staff. A few blocks/5-10 min. stroll in one direction, and I'm smack-in-middle of hectic-chaotic-fun Shibuya Crossing, shopping, dining, imbibing galore; the same walk in the opposite direction, and I'm engulfed in idyllic-lush-serene-green Yoyogi Park. Plus, central to public transport with easy access to other neighborhoods and airports (~45 min to Haneda).

The hotel is tucked away in a side street but very close (walking distance) to the train station, retail shops, restaurants, bars, Family Mart, drug stores and Shibuya Crossing. The room is fairly large compared to other hotels. And consistently clean. The staff is very courteous, helpful and accommodating. Easy to communicate with in English. If you want the usual large hotel with spacious lobby, this is not for you. But I prefer a hotel that's cozy and without the noise and distractions of many travelers and this was it.

We had an amazing stay at the Tokyu Stay Shibuya Shin Minami Guchi. Our friend recommended us to this hotel and it was absolutely worth the money. The room was clean, quiet spacious, and very very comfortable. The room had everything we needed, including a washing machine. The staff were all very welcoming and nice. There are a bunch of convenient stores and restaurants around the hotel. The hotel is literally 1-2 minute away from the Shibuya Shin Minami Guchi station. Although very close to the station, but we still need to walk quiet a bit to get to the Yamanote line and Shibuya Crossing. Overall, the hotel is great, worth the money, and very comfortable. We had a very pleasant stay. Will definitely stay here again next time :D

I wanted to save money and rather than booking a hotel I booked a "luxury capsule hotel." The pod was much bigger than expected and the bed was so comfortable! I loved that you can use the ipod to control the bed and lighting etc. It felt like I had a whole room to myself, and the showers and bathrooms were really clean as well. There is ample storage space above the bed as well as below. Staff were extremely helpful, and even provided me a cardboard box + forms to fill out to mail things back to the States. Location is the really close to Shibuya crossing and though it is close to the hustle and bustle of it all, it was really quiet at night. Highly recommend this place to travelers though not so much for families with children. Can't wait to go back!

Compared to other hotels in Tokyo, we had a spacious room good enough to move around comfortably. Bathrooms were kept clean daily with conplete amenities. Location was perfect; walking distance to Mark City (dropoff point for airport bus), to Shibuya Crossing and other shops and restos like Uniqlo and Denny’s. Big plus is the 24hr grocery right across the hotel. Thanks to Mr Ogawa for assisting us in getting private taxis to the airport. But all the hotel staff were very polite and accommodating.

I have been to this particular Excel Hotel twice this year. It has an excellent location just beside the Shibuya JR and Metro Station. Once you cross the street, you will be exactly where the Narita Express stops. It also is very near the famous Shibuya Crossing where people usually begin in exploring Shibuya. The hotel has it's own restaurants, but more than their restaurants, the 2nd floor has a strip of restaurants of different cuisines. My family really enjoyed our time in Shibuya Stream Excel Hotel.

This love hotel is centrally located only a 8 min walk from Shibuya Station and directly across from a nightclub. If you don’t mind listening to a very faint bass of some techno music on the weekends from 11pm-7am, potentially hearing love noises when your window is open & have no need for ample space for luggage, this place is for you! Service is efficient & the room is TINY yet clean! The hotel lobby offers classy jazz music along with cakes, snacks, coffee, juice, soda & ice cream. A FREE Western or Japanese style breakfast is served (& reserved in advance, no last-min changes) to your room between 6-10am. Room amenities are high-end TOTO bathroom appliances (now we’re spoiled), toiletries you didn’t know you needed, stocked bev mini fridge & a karaoke machine! Not all staff speaks English but enough basic English words. There is a Lawson convenience store next door and many restaurants & shopping in area. Highly recommended for the open-minded & self-sufficient!

I had a conference in Tokyo and hence stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. It was a 7 min walk from the nearest JR railways station. The reception people could speak good English. The room interiors were very good the floor carpets were a little old though. They provide internet in all rooms and the speed was good for skype (they also provide a lan cable on request and so nothing to worry if you forgot to carry one). There were no convenience stores or restaurants near by the hotel.
