Location is nearby the train station, nearby Shinjuku (walking distance). Have their own Onsen. Room is small as usual but acceptable for us. Good location as it's nearby the Shinjuku Gyoen National Park. We went for the Sakura and we got what we wanted. Full bloom of Sakura. Have Family Mart & 7-11 nearby. Also Tully Cafe, Subways, small cafe nearby. Will book the same hotel next year when we are back to Tokyo! Recommended hotel ever!

Our flight was delayed and I was concerned about the check in procedure, I emailed the hotel and promptly recieved a very polite and helpful response. Upon arrival at the hotel around midnight there was a very helpful polite gentleman attending the front desk who fortunately for us spoke excellent English. He informed us we had been allocated a complimentary upgrade to our room which was a pleasant surprise. We was on the 13th floor with a great view and a beautiful large twin room with additional guest room including guest bathroom as well as the main bathroom. There was a small kitchen with fridge freezer, microwave, hobs, kettle, washing machine / dryer and stocked with tea and coffee along with cups, plates, cutlery and glasses. The room had air-conditioning controls for 2 zones which was great. We had 2 tvs (one in the living room area with sofa, coffee table and dining table and one in the bedroom). A nice bose music / media system was also in place and the bedroom featured a desk with ethernet connection and sockets etc for Laptops. WiFi was free throughout the hotel and ran at high speed consistently. Both bathrooms were well stocked with toothbrushes, razors, soaps and conditioners, cotton sets and towels and of course a superb toto toilet. For the price we paid (which also included breakfast) I personally feel like I got the best deal going for a room that well equipped and serviced in Tokyo considering how much I paid. From my own personal experience I can say I would most definitely stay there again. Close to both okubo and shin okubo train stations all of tokyo is easily within reach. A great grocery store lies beneath the building selling all you'll need to accommodate your stay and you'll find many restatements and shops within a minutes walk. The hotel was very clean and hygienic. I would highly recommend anyone looking to visit Tokyo to try out the Hundred Stay Tokyo Shinjuku hotel.

We had a lovely room, very spacious, clean, quiet. The bed was awesome and the pillows were a little hard for us but we slept very well. The food at the Japanese Restaurant was the best tasting. We ordered the Sakura complete meal and was not disappointed. The Crystal buffet in morning was very delicious. The customer service was excellent!!! We will be back to book at this hotel definitely. helped us Chk in, hold our luggage, make dinner reservations, and upgraded our room. The Hotel is lucky to have him as he exemplified customer service! Our experience with Keio Plaza started on a positive note because of his services. The ambiance of the Hotel with the crystal chandeliers, the most beautiful flower arrangement in the foyer, and we even witnessed the new floral arrangement being done by a guy. The Shinjuku train station was a very short walk from Keio. Very safe and Odakyu, Keio Dept, n Lumine was right there!

Location is more in Kabukicho for those who are expecting to be in the centre of Shinjuku but very conveniently located within walking distance to Higashi-Shinjuku and Shinjuku-Sanchome Stations. Those who are working around the JR Passes should look for other hotels closer to Shinjuku or Shin-Okubo Stations. Hotel itself is very stylish and rooms are well maintained and clean. Amenities are provided on a daily basis if required and a Handy phone is also provided in the room for use by guests while travelling in Tokyo. Wifi access is smooth and connection is stable and relatively fast. Selection of TV channels not the best for non Japanese speaking guests.

This is a very new hotel, very clean and modern. A very small room but with very clever use of space. The best selling point is its unbeatable location, right in the heart of Shinjuku, a very happening place in Tokyo. We could walk everywhere from the hotel, to the train station, shopping, restaurants and we were happiest to walk to Shinjuku National Gyoen Garden. Boy, we were in paradise and nothing could wipe the smile off my face to see so many lovely cherry trees in bloom! Made my day!!

It’s our first hotel for our honeymoon. We requested for early check-in and we reached 30 minutes earlier. To our surprise, our room was ready and they even upgraded our room and gave us the top floor. The presence of the public bath was awesome after a day of shopping. The staff was also very helpful, especially when I fell ill on the first night. We were advised that the people in the clinic do not speak English and hence the lady at the counter translated all the terminology and wrote it on post-it for us to bring to the clinic. Love the service. The location isn’t the kind where you exit the train station and you see it. It’s quite a walk with the luggage, but, it’s worth it! We will definitely go back to this place the next time we go to Tokyo. (It was blistering cold to walk from the station to the hotel when the wind is strong!) In addition, we love the fact that the toilet bowl and the shower area aren’t in the same room. It helps! We also love the fact that the moment we open the door to the toilet bowl, the seat cover opens up itself. So high tech! Thank you for the pleasant stay. (Wish that our bed was decorated or something to enhance the honeymoon experience)

I enjoyed my stay due most in part to the friendly staff of the hotel. Always smiling and greeting you as soon as you walk in the door. The staff members are ready to assist you with anything you need. The hotel also made for a great stay because it is situated in the lively Kabuki-cho area of Shinjuku. Many restaurants of all varieties surround the hotel so you will never go hungry. The JR Shinjuku train station is about a 3-5minute walk from the hotel using the EAST EXIT. The JR Shinjuku station makes touring Tokyo very easy because there are multiple lines coming through this station. The most common line is the JR YAMANOTE line. The hotel is also situated on a different train line, the SEIBU-SHINJUKU line. The hotel rooms are rather small, but just enough if you are not planning to spend must your time in the room. The room was very clean and was also stocked with multiple amenities for the guest to use. In the bathroom, big bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are also provided. There are vending machines near the elevators that sell anything from soda, coffee, and tea, to snacks like chips, ramen, and other quick eats. There's also an ice machine located in the same vicinity as the vending machines. The hotel comes with free wifi for guests only. Upon check in, instructions will be given i how to access the wifi. I will definitely return to this hotel.

My boyfriend and I spent 4 nights here. The hotel is like a lot of the others that we saw with minimal extra space in the rooms, but that wasn't a problem with our carryons and since we were out most of the time. We booked the trip last minute and so we weren't able to book any dinner reservations until we arrived. The front desk was helpful calling around to all of the different restaurants and ANY time we had a question (which was quite frequently). We even had an issue with misplacing our wifi hotspot and they helped us call around to all of the restaurants and train stations we'd been to while coordinating with the wifi company. Couldn't recommend them enough! The rooms were clean and comfy with water and coffee/tea provided along with a humidifier and fully equipped and comfortable bathrooom. The location is close to the Shinjuku station as well as 7-11's and Lawsons and some 24hr food stops that came in handy with our jet lag :)

We knew the hotel had good standards since the staff were friendly, courteous, and helpful. They even assisted us in communicating with a receptionist of a restaurant because we had very limited Japanese language skills. They were also helpful in providing recommendations on what tourist spots to visit and the best ways to get there. We were very pleased with the staff. In terms of convenience, I found the hotel to be perfectly located in Shinjuku since it was near other places of interest and it has a nearby connection with the train station. The facilities were also complete - includes a 24 hour convenience store, several restaurants, coin operated laundry, as well as nearby tourist spots that one can just walk to. In terms of the room, I found it very comfortable and eco-friendly. Maybe one thing that can be improved on is the airconditioning. It was winter when we visited thus it was the heater that was available. However, the room became so warm that we could not sleep and there was no option for cool airconditioning. But other than that, the hotel was worth staying.

Best Western Shinjuku hotel is positioned in a great location only a few minutes walk from the train station and right in the heart of restaurants, bars and shops within the area. The hotel is well kept and very clean. Rooms are not the biggest however we didnt spend too much time in there so that wasnt an issue. The staff are friendly and helpful. Shinjuku is however the redlight district so keep that in mind. Do not let this discourage you however as everything is tucked in behind closed doors and this is the place to be if you are into food, drinking, shopping and fun. The hotel has everthing you need with a buffet breakfast included in the room price and a convenient store right outside the lift. The staff will help you organise taxis, provide wake up calls etc. I would definitely recommend this hotel

The great feature about this hotel l is its value to traveller - proximity to train station, convenient stores, and restaurants. The room provides with everything. Just bring your change of clothes they have a washer and dryer. They also have free onsen. But the main consideration is the good plumbing in Japan clean water and good for drinking. The overall impact of our stay in this hotel made our Tokyo Japan trip an austounding success. We will surely go back for more.

Awesome view. Room was spacious for Tokyo’s standards. Room was very clean. We had a King Sized Bed which was very comfortable. The pillows were very soft and comfy too. Very accessible. Location was superb. It was just a few steps away from Shinjuku station. Airport Express Train has a stop at this station. You can also ride the Airport Limousine Bus straight from the hotel. Easy to get on and off the train to go to different areas in Tokyo. Malls were also very near the hotel so easy to shop. The area was very quiet (which was a good thing for us). But if you’re the type who wants to go around at night and eat/drink, this is not the place. But if you’re okay to walk a little further, you can actually reach the brighter 24hr life of Shinjuku at the other side (East exit from the train station, i think. Hotel was at the South Exit.) Staff were polite and friendly. They were very helpful. Overall 5/5 for me. :)

LOCATION At first I was apprehensive of this as I booked this by mistake as i wanted the one at Shinjuku. However, this was a happy mistake. From Narita, able to get on the express train to the train station with a toddler, a stroller and two luggages in tow. Walking distance from the station (approx 50m). Lots of nearby places to eat, and supermarket just across the street. From Yotsuya-Sanchome station, going to Shinjuku, Tokyo, Ginza, Shibuya is a breeze. AMENITIES Breakfast spread is very good. No lack of variety considering its excellent price point. No gym or pool though. That's a small downside. ROOMS Clean. Comes with humidifier which was a big bonus for someone coming from a tropical country. Can sleep better when the air is not as dry esp during winter. End state verdict. Booked by mistake. But did not regret it at all. Best mistake ever.

I really enjoy staying at Hilton Tokyo a lot. I chose this hotel because Airport limousine can send me in front of the hotel. But I found out later that hotel also provide free shuttle bus from hotel to Shinjuku train station, the bus leave every 20 mins which is very convenient. This shuttle bus also take you back to the hotel from Shinjuku station as well. You can ask for the bus timetable at the reception. Also there's a subway connection right from the hotel lobby. I can get out the train at Nishi-shinjuku station and walk underground around 3 mins and pop up right inside the hotel lobby! Really convenient! Room view is great as I stayed at high floor. Really appreciate this hotel and I will recommend to everyone I know if they're going to Tokyo.

I stayed at the nishitetsu inn for 6 nights. Hotel is 3 minute walking distance from the nishishinjuku train station, or 10 minute walk from the shinjuku station. Staff was nice, and the hotel rooms came with all the basic necessities. There is a small cafe downstairs, which serves coffee, tea and pastries, perfect to start your morning off right. I would stay here again.

Pleasant little hotel near Shin-Okubo train station. Plenty of places to eat and shop and a thriving night scene. Plenty of eateries down side streets. Breakfast can be repetitive though as it's the same dish every morning, but there are plenty of morning eating establishments. Staff are helpful and speak English fairly well. There are stairs up to reception but you'll be use to them after using the local trains! The beds are quite soft for Javanese standards. The bathrooms are a little tight. I would definitely stay here again.

Very good breakfast buffet, friendly staff , always greeting us with a smile. Average 10 minutes walk to Shin-Okubo, Seibu-Shinjuku, and Shinjuku station. Close to the Samurai Museum, Hanazono-Jinja Shrine, shops and restaurant. Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building is just a bus ride with three stops(take the bus from Hotel Gracery Shinjuku(WE) get off at Shinjuku Washington Hotel Zen bus stop it cost 100 YEN it's free to go up the building you will see an amazing view of Tokyo.

Our home away from home at Tokyu Stay was truly wonderful! It’s a small friendly cozy hotel in the middle of or alleyway of lots of little restaurants and shopping! The hotel is quite clean and the staff are so accommodating and friendly!!! The rooms and beds are truly small not the standard size you would expect in the U.S. we booked the small double room and the beds are about the size of a full size bed. The plus is that they have a washer dryer to wash your clothes. The bathroom is decent with a bidet! Small restaurants are a few steps away outside the hotel and even big department stores and small drugstores are about 5 minutes or less a walk away. JR Shinjuku Station is quite close and the San-chome train station is a minute walk away. My sister who has been to Japan many times and is well traveled also loved the location of the hotel. This is the perfect hotel if you want to explore shinjuku area and be close to JR Shinjuku Station! Would definitely recommend this hotel!

I am very thankful that I found this hotel via Agoda! I got 2 rooms, 1 for me and my husband, and 1 for my mom and brother. We stayed there for 8 days. The room was spacious enough for us and our luggage. The bathroom was amazing! I was clean and their toilet seat has that temperature control seat that is really convenient and comfortable to sit on. Though, we weren't that happy with the available channels they have on TV since most shows are in Japanese and they only have 1 channel that speaks english. But in the end, we didn't really mind since we only turn on the TV in the evening after exploring Tokyo. The one thing I'm not happy with is that they are not very accommodating when we tried to ask them if they can waive 2 hours extension upon our check out. They automatically told us that they need to charge if we stay after 11am. Aside from that everything was perfect and I will definitely book this hotel again when we come back to Japan. Location is super near a train station!

Whenever I visit Tokyo, I (nearly) always book this hotel because of kind staff, convenient location (It takes about 8 minutes from Shin-okubo station) with reasonable price. There is a family mart(CVS) near the hotel where you can buy some simple groceries. Please kindly note that when it is over 10pm, the main door to the front gets to be locked so you need to open the door by using your room's card key. I'd definetely book this hotel again in near future when visiting Tokyo. :-)

i stayed here when i first arrived to tokyo for the price it was very good. it is close to the higashi-shinjuku tokyo metro line but not much else. it is about a 15 min walk to shin okubo or okubo stations on the jr yamote lines..and about the same to walk to koreatown. takes about 20 minutes to walk to the the big department stores like marui, isetan, etc. so very accessible to the shopping areas even if you have to walk. they were very helpful and have a great map with all the nearby restaurants like bento box places, etc.

we arrived at the hotel by taking a train from the airport to the train station closest to the hyatt. we walked about one-third mile underground (which everyone uses) to get to the hotel. unknown to us, the hotel did have a free shuttle every twenty minutes from the local train station, just follow the signs or ask information which exit has the shuttle stop. the hotel was in a great location and within walking distance of lots of sight-seeing and shopping. or, the subway is a great way to get to other areas of town that you want to visit. the hyatt was everything we expected. we stayed our first five nights in tokyo at the hyatt. we were able to explore a lot of the city.

The location is near the Higashi Shinjuku Station and 15 minutes walk to Shin-Okubo Station for JR lines. The 1st bumped for me and my mom is how super small the room is. We booked double bed room, we brought 2 luggages (24"). And it's hard for us to move arround. And the pillows-non like pillow that i ever know before. It flat-really flat, more like a magazine. 2nd, The do have coin laundry machine and dryer but it only 1 washing machine and 1 dryer. When i want to use the dryer, someone left his clothes there (finished drying). I am waiting for almost 3 hours (I set my timer and waiting in front of the restaurant . its still there. The owner did not come to take it, and I cannot use it. I have to dry my clothes in my super tiny room with only 4 hangers. Other than that, everything is okay. The staff was very nice and helpful.

My wife, son and I arrive in Tokyo by train to Shinjuku station. None of us had been to Tokyo before and did not know what to expect. We anticipated that the hotel was going to be short distance form the station so we could walk. It turned out to be a short taxi ride but could be walkable if you knew ahead of time which exit of the train station to exit from. It would still be a good walk. Street addressing in Tokyo is interesting and even the taxi driver had a hard time finding the hotel. Checking in was a breeze and we found the room small but adequate for the price we payed for 3. My son loved the Wi-Fi and after a while understood there was internet access on floor 5 and 7. Our first room had some issues with the AC not working well but our second stay at the end of the trip on floor 5 had a great air conditioner. The hotel is off the beaten path but very close to night life which we did every night walking around. The free juice and soda station was used a lot by my son and wife. A nice touch. The front desk did exchange some US dollars for us but did not cash travelers checks which wold have been a nice feature since banks are hard to find. At least for us. We did not ever find a bank. The hotel is in a nice part of Tokyo and we felt safe everywhere we went. We would certainly stay at this hotel again and would encourage others to do so.

Great stay in a nice clean hotel, room is what you pay for but you may need to ask for an extra pillow or 2 like I did. Overall through staff were very friendly and nice and were accommodating in helping me store my bags when I arrived before the check in time and they were able to advise me on where I could shop for a affordable extra suit case ( its called don qioxte, walk out of the hotel, turn left and walk round 2-3 mins down the road. you will know you have reached it when you see the mascot which is a penguin. ). Overall great stay in the heart of Korea town, you might have to walk around 10 mins or so to reach shin-okubo station or other food places like yoshinya, if you walk behind the hotel you will find that places like macdonalds, KFC , batting cages and toho cinemas is a 10 min walk as well, convent location to convenient stores, a pharmacy type store next door and a local super market right across the road.

Check in and check out was smooth. Room size was sufficient. Breakfast was almost entirely the same for our 3 nights there but it was the most delicious among the other hotels we stayed at in the same price range. Staff never failed to greet us anytime they saw us. We used their washer and dryer however our clothes were still damp, even after drying twice. That was the only downside. Aircon and heater worked well, easy to figure out. Bed was comfy. Room was made everyday, and a new set of pyjamas were given each time. Bathroom amenities were plenty as well. We were so sad when we got to our next stay in another area that we looked to see if they had another chain there but sadly, was sold out. Great stay, I'd stay there again. Easy to find and near the train station.

This hotel is right beside a the train station. Just need to exit the first exit and you're there. Very small room though and if you have large luggage, it will be hard to juggle around. During our 2nd day, I came across a couple who tried to cancel their bookings since they had extra large luggage that wont fit the room. I guess this is only recommended if you have medium sized luggage with you. Its near the night spots and a Lawson beside. I wont mind booking here again.
