This is a fairly new property -- I stayed here when it was brand new a year ago. The rooms are small and some don't have any views, but those things were never issues with me. If it is with you, then select a property with larger rooms or American-based chains with very large rooms. If it is with you, then select a property with larger rooms or American-based chains with very large rooms. What I really loved is that it is just footsteps from the Shinjuku Gyoen-mae stop on the Marunouchi Line making it ultra convenient (Haneda Airport to the hotel's stop is only Y640 on the Metro!). This property is in the quieter area of Shinjuku in the Ni-chome area, but within a 15 minute walk from the Shinjuku Station or the lively Kabukicho area. You are also footsteps away from the beautiful Shinjuku Gyoen Park and a stone's throw from the most popular "stand-up" steak places, the incredible Ikinari Steak Restaurant. Also, having a really relaxing spa on the property as well as a full breakfast buffet was a definite plus. The price on this property ranges considerably, depending on the time of year. If you're searching at the right time, it's very reasonable; otherwise, rates can be quite high.

Perfect location very near Okubo and Shin Okubo stations, great staff, breakfast, huge rooms with kitchenette, microwave, etc., separate toilet and bath.. Well stocked bathroom amenities, coffee, tea in the room.. One of the staff, Mr. Konno, was very helpful in facilitating the transfer of our luggage from this hotel in Shinjuku straight to our hotel in Osaka. In fact...Perfect location very near Okubo and Shin Okubo stations, great staff, breakfast, huge rooms with kitchenette, microwave, etc., separate toilet and bath.. Well stocked bathroom amenities, coffee, tea in the room.. In fact our 4pc luggage were waiting for us already in our room when we arrived. (I recommend this luggage service to travelers going to and from Osaka-Tokyo for hassle free transfers in trains or buses.) Good job, Hundred Stay! We will stay here again when in Shinjuku!

BUT The most CRAZIEST is as a guest I can NOT order anything in any restaurant delivering to my room, even room service foods menu offers littlest choices, trust me, u will be boring with them, as u know there are more choices & u have tried them downstairs. Also there's free shuttle service to Disney roundtrip, just reserve it, love it! Anyway, it's a great choice to stay. BUT so so bad feels while I just want order some more delivering to my room after my lunch or dinner in the same restaurant, All say NO WAY. It confused me so so much. Well maybe u guys think ur room menu is good enough. As a eater, I have to say NOOOOOOOOO!

Good value for money, liked the vending machines in the lobby and the cocktails on the rooftop. Cons: slow WiFi in the rooms, small economy room sometimes felt claustrophobic, concierge not always helpful in giving directions and not always knowledgeable about excursions (could be the slight language barrier). Breakfast buffet not that great; would not recommend getting the breakfast included and instead try the many eateries outside your doorstep like Mister donut, Tulley’s or the many ramen joints in the Golden Gai.

We could walk everywhere from the hotel, to the train station, shopping, restaurants and we were happiest to walk to Shinjuku National Gyoen Garden. The rooms are lovely and spacious (especially considering your in Tokyo). The bathroom is big and the shower is amazing, it’s so powerful, probably the best shower i’ve Had in Asia. The staff were fantastic, so very polite and helpful, everything you would expect from Japanese people. The room was non smoking, however there is a smoking room on the 21st floor which is open 24/7. We never used the room service or restaurants, so I can’t comment on those. However I highly recommend “Luke’s lobster” food van which can be found outside the hotel on certain days. The WiFi was fast and free. The views were fantastic especially at night, and the rooms always felt fresh after being cleaned. I would definitely stay here again.

There are many kombinis, restaurants and fast food options next to the hotel. The room was comfortable with all the basic necessities. The staff was very helpful and was happy to arrange for our luggage to be forwarded to our next hotel. The hotel offers breakfast for 1500 yen but we did not try it. You have the option to skip room cleaning and will be rewarded with some free water, however new towels will still be delivered daily.

But I found out later that hotel also provide free shuttle bus from hotel to Shinjuku train station, the bus leave every 20 mins which is very convenient. Best part about this hotel is the closeness to the "Shin-Okubo" station which is part of the JR Yamanote Line stations. So if you want to go to Shibuya, Shinjuku, Akihabara etc it's very very easy... it's approximately 3 - 5 mins walk from the hotel. There is always many people around the station and around the hotel even late at night. Will definitely come back to this hotel, only because of it's price and location. only 1 stop away from Shinjuku! and 4 stops away from Shibuya.... Hope you enjoy your stay.

Although there is only one restaurant in the hotel (Chinese), there is a good number of food outlets and convenience stores within the vicinity. The hotel is also located close to Ginza and Ichigaya,...I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. It's very conveniently located in Hanzomon and I loved the fact that I could go for a run around the Imperial Palace every morning. Although there is only one restaurant in the hotel (Chinese), there is a good number of food outlets and convenience stores within the vicinity. The hotel is also located close to Ginza and Ichigaya, with good public transport connections to Shinjuku, Roppongi and other places in Tokyo. I don't really have any negative comments, apart from the rooms being slightly on the smaller side. However, this is the norm for Japanese business hotels, and actually this one compares well to other hotels I have stayed in previously. I checked into this hotel twice within one week and would definitely use it again in the future.

You can also walk to the station in under 10 minutes. The only thing we did not like about this hotel was the internet access. You have to request a wireless router for your room and then pay to use the internet (300 yen per day). The internet usage fee is small, but I thought when paying a significant amount to stay in a 4-star hotel they could at least provide free wireless internet. This practice seemed a little old fashioned.

I had a great experience at this hotel. It was close to the Higashi-Shinjuku station (just across the street) but also walking distance to the main area of Shinjuku. I flew into Narita Airport, and took the Narita Express to the main Shinjuku station. From there, I walked to the hotel instead of transferring to Higashi-Shinjuku. I even asked them questions about how to get back to the airport and where to exchange money. Although they could not answer me in English, they had brochures already printed out in English with the information I needed. I felt safe in the hotel because you need your room card to get into the elevator and again to get through the doors on your floor. As other reviews have mentioned, the rooms are very small but clean & cozy. I stayed in a single room and there was about a foot of space between the side edge of the bed and the desk. I traveled with a duffel bag and had just enough space for it at the foot of the bed. If you have a large suitcase, there is no space to lay it flat. The single bed was larger than a twin size, but smaller than a US full size. The beds were very comfortable and I had no trouble sleeping. The bed also had buttons to turn on and off the lights. That was nice because I did not have to get out of bed to reach the light switches. The bathroom can only fit one person at a time, but it was clean. A travel toothbrush & toothpaste, shaver, and hairbrush were provided. They also had a mini fridge, hot water heater and hair dryer. All in all, a very positive experience and I would stay there again!

A few blocks from a tokyo subway stop as well. My only complaint is the same others have posted in that they have some really thin pillows. I knew this going in so used my travel pillow to supplement. I should have asked for extras from the desk and when I stay her again I will make sure to do that.

However, the room was very small, so small that we could barely fit two large suitcases there, we had to put one on the desk and one on the floor. Also, the noise of the fridge was annoying at night. We booked this hotel for it's price and proximity to Shinjuku and were not expecting much. They didn't have any non-smoking rooms available to we were put in a smoking room but the staff had cleaned it so well you couldn't even tell. The beds were comfortable and the room cleaned everyday. There was a mini fridge and kettle and TV, loads of bathroom amenities, more spa...We booked this hotel for it's price and proximity to Shinjuku and were not expecting much. They didn't have any non-smoking rooms available to we were put in a smoking room but the staff had cleaned it so well you couldn't even tell. The beds were comfortable and the room cleaned everyday. There was a mini fridge and kettle and TV, loads of bathroom amenities, more space than I expected for a Tokyo hotel room and robes and slippers. It was also only 200 metres to the subway station, about 50 metres to a 7/11, one stop away from Shinjuku and really easy to find. The staff were very polite and nice.
