Friendly helpful staff that can speak multiple languages. Always happy to help. Luggage room that can be freely used when checking in and out. Sky Spa is a must do, very nice views of Osaka while unwinding in a heated bath. Room we hired was twice the size of a similarly priced room in Shinjuku, was good to be able to open all our suitcases at once! Had a couch! Location is nice and close to Dontonbori and all associated shopping like Den Den and Shinsaibashi. Only thing that might be an issue is it's a 10 minute walk from the closest subway station (Shinsaibashi) and not near any JR stations for those using a pass (JR isn't the best option in Osaka anyway). When leaving we caught a taxi from the tank just half a block down to Tennoji station which only cost 1100 Yen. Would recommended this if not forwarding luggage when checking in and out. Thanks for looking after us!

Hotel was quite a distance from the subway station (about 12 minute walk) especially if you have to lug your luggage around. Although hotel was far from the subway station, it was however within 15mins walk to the bustling Shinsaibashi stretch of shops and restaurants Breakfast spread was simple but delicious and fulfilling for my Asian palette. Room was small definitely but for the rate we were paying, we definitely can't complain. Rooms were very clean and cozy with the toilet still having a tub for you too soak if you've had a tiring day enjoying yourself thoroughly. Would definitely recommend staying here again!

Having stayed in really small rooms in Tokyo, this hotel was a surprisingly spacious. We absolutely loved this hotel! The rooms had wi-fi and were so comfortable and luxurious. The staff were so polite gracious, and helpful. The location was the best as it was just above the Shinsaibashi subway station. Just in front of the hotel was a great shopping area with a covered shopping arcade just behind all the high-end shops. We would definitely stay here again and will highly recommend this hotel.

This is a good hotel for avid shoppers as it is situated in one of the side street off the Shinsaibashi shopping mall which can link all the way to Namba and the famous Dotonbori area. It is very new (just opened in April-18) so is very clean. The room is a bit small but still ok for a couple. Some of the staff can speak English, in particular the young gentleman (if he is on duty) speaks fluent English. The hotel provides a ‘Handy’ mobile phone for our use for free which is useful for navigation and more local info on places to visit and eat. The hotel has a luggage storage room where you can lock your luggages after check-out for last minute shoppingwhichbis most convenient!! One thing to note is do get the front desk’s help for the direct way to/from Shinsaibashi subway station as Shinsaibashi is an interchange station and there are many exits. Even Google map made us walk around Shinsaibashi a couple of circles before we found the hotel when we’d arrived.

the hotel is located at higashishinsaibashi where is so close to shinsaibashi, the main shopping area in osaka. it was a good stay. we stayed for three nights in this hotel. we went shopping in shinsaibashi and then quickly went back to the hotel and left everything for another travel attractions. the hotel is good for shoppers and young couples. staffs speak good english. it is also three stations away from osaka castle, a must-go attraction in osaka. staffs are really helpful and polite. highly recommended hotel in shinsaibashi. just mind that rooms are not big in the hotel and in line with the 3-star standard. all in all, will definitely stay at best western hotel fino osaka shinsaibashi next time when visiting osaka.

Location was fantastic with eateries and family mart located right outside the hotel. Less than 5 mins walk to dontoburi and shinsaibashi. If you like walking, takes about 20mins to walk to kuromon market only. Walking time of less than 10mins to namba and namb osaka station. Hotel provides a wide range of beverages complimentary. Size of room was bigger than I expected. Mattress' firmness was jus right - had a good night sleep. What I loved most is the shower room! The shower water pressure was great - best hotel so far. Staff are polite and can communicate in English. Improvements - 1. cooked breakfast dishes tend to be salty. It would be nice to offer udon soup for breakfast. 2. Provide english TV channels. Only japanese available. Overall, I would stay in this hotel again!

The staff offered to park my luggage at the hotel before the time to check in at 3pm. So I manage to linger around Namba quite a while. Very near to convenient stores and it is only a distance away from Namba, Dotombori, and Shinsaibashi. Also near to Amerikamura where weekends are a cool street to walk in. The breakfast was nice. I went once, but didn't went again because I had to start my day way early. Breakfast was at 6am. (Yes. I did start my day at 5am for not clashing with the morning peak hours.) The hotel is very near a subway station. But further from JR station. So once you reach airport you can take JR trains to Namba. But the JR station to the subway station is a distance that you can walk underground. Basically, it is very accessible. Good place to go anywhere, regardless Kobe, Kyoto or Nara. Exit Namba Hips and you will need to spot Don Quijote, Penguin(Donpen). It will be located in the alley next to it. Overall, I had a very enjoyable stay there. Thank you!!

Pros: 1. Location. Location. Location. It is located near the main road but away from the noise. Subway is walking distance. 5 to 7 minutes walk..depends which subway. Just minutes from the famous shopping area Shinsaibashi. As well as accessible to restaurants and cafes as as the underground shopping mall Crysta. 2. It is brand new!! It looks and feels like a new! 3. Room. Bed is new and comfortable. 4. Toiletries are provided. Only no shower cap! Hot showers are a plus!! 5. They will replenish toiletries and slippers. 6. The staff is professional and friendly especially Ms Kan. Who was most helpful. Cons: 1. The male staff is professional and speaks Japanese only. English speaking staff is limited. So if you speak Mandarin it is a plus to communicate. 2. The room is quite small and space is limited especially when the big luggage is opened. No storage area or cupboard. 3. As it is new, the taxi driver may not know the name. So get the address in Japanese for directions to hotel.

I have to say that this would be one of my favorite hotels in japan for it's price! The rooms are relatively bigger than some of the other hotels i've stayed in. The staff speak decent english, and best of all, the location was perfect. about a 30 second walk (1 small block) away from the shinsaibashi subway station and pretty much near Amerika-mura! Dotonbori is about a 10 - 15 minute walk away, which means it's close by! If you're looking at staying in Osaka, i'd say this hotel is definitely one to pick up and stay in!!! A cafe/bar (planet 3rd) is attached to this hotel and is right outside/infront of the complex, which means easy options for coffee or breakfast.

I love this hotel because it is close to Shisaibashi and Numba which is the best shopping archade in Osaka. It is kindda far from JR station so you have to take subway. However, there is an underground shopping archade that you can walk from Shinsaibashi subway station to the hotel. The price for this hotel is not very expensive.I recomed this hotel. Also the reception can speak English well but the room a bit small.

I was staying in a horrible Airbnb and was looking for last minute hotels around Namba/Shinsaibashi area. The closest and best alternative I had was this hotel, which was literally 5 steps away from Nipponbashi subway station. This hotel is located at Exit 4 of the Train station. Location is fantastic when taking train. It takes about 12 minutes to walk to Shinsabashi area, a straight road down to the bustling area. I was able to leave my luggage there prior to check-in and there was welcome drink free for all to refill and drink at the reception area. The room was small, albeit cozy. The pillows used were traditional japanese pillows with beads but had the sheets over it. Although, we could feel the springs of the bed, it was still comfortable! Toilet was clean and amenities provided were immaculate . Staff was very friendly and helpful. Greeting us every time we walked past the reception area. Highly recommend to all!

First of all, the location of this hotel is extremely good. It is just few minutes walk from Namba Subway Station, which is the central of Osaka. This hotel is located just between shinsaibashi and dotonbori. You can enjoy a lot of dining and shopping in this area. You won't feel hungry during the period of your stay if u choose this hotel. It is very convenient. As for hotel, the front desk service is very good, especially they know to speak English. They are very helpful and fulfill our needs. The hotel room is very clean, comfort and high class. I love the comfort bed and modern toilet very much. It is romantic to stay, suit for honeymoon. Besides, there are also have "Room theater" service, called "Video on demand", but you need to buy the ticket per day. From this VOD service, you can watch a lot of good videos until you no time to sleep. Overall, I love this 4-star hotel very much. I will be back and definitely will recommend to my friends as well.

The rooms were extremely pleasant. And this hotel is the first I've encountered in Japan that doesn't have a toilet and bathroom the size of a pillbox! There was a slight mix-up with the triple room I booked - they gave me a twin instead, but they managed to solve it quickly for me so that was nice. Cross Hotel is centrally located in the Namba district, and is a short walk from either the Shinsaibashi subway station on the Namba (Midosuji line) subway station. Transferring to USJ takes about half an hour, and Osaka castle can be reached in about 20 minutes. It's also just a couple of steps away from the massive Dotonburi shopping area - ask the front desk for a map. The one I received came with recommendations for nearby shopping districts and restaurants and it came in immensely useful when I was looking for something to eat! We took the airport limousine from the Namba OCAT terminal instead of the train because we didn't want to have to deal with the crowd. The bus terminal is on the second floor of the OCAT building though, and not all elevators/escalators serve the second floor. I found it tricky and had to ask a couple of locals before I found myself at the right place... (Two buses leaves for Kansai international airport hourly at XX:10, and XX:40.) Overall a great stay. It's a pity I only needed accommodation for a night.

Our hotel room's bathroom was nice and clean (very important for us). The room was spacious enough and was comfortable as well. Good distance from Dotonbori and subway stations. Around a 10-15 min. walk to Dotonbori main area, but it's an enjoyable and scenic one (mostly because of Shinsaibashi) :) We were also allowed to leave our belongings in the hotel before check in since we arrived early.

Our family really had a good time in this hotel. Location is great just a few minute walk to shinsaibashi subway. It's surrounded with many restaurants ans convenience stores. Lawson is next to the hotel and there is "loopi machine" in this store for u to buy universal ticket by yourself (+fastpass which the hotel staff could help u to buy online ans get QR code to pay and get printout ticket at lawson). The room is clean and big enough for 4 of us (twin bed type). There is cultural activity at 5pm everyday, during our stay, there was free kimono dress for trying and take a photo which my kids enjoyed a lot :). When we arrived, the staff let my kids select the toy for free! My kids chose the bunny headband which is so lovely. Beyond expectation, there is free baby pushcar to lend which is super useful and couldnt get this offer easily in many hotels. Moreover, u can borrow free toys for kids to play ie lego. The only comment that i have is that free ramen and alcohol offerings is a bit too late as it will be served only 10-11pm. I think if the timing is moving to 9-10pm, it will be a perfect time and not too late for family guests.

Hotel is located between Shinsaibashi Station and Nahaboribashi Station, both around 5 minutes on foot. Entrance right outside the hotel leads to you Crysta City, an underground shopping arcade which also leads you to both subway stations, so even a rainy day will not stop you from going anywhere. 3 minutes walk to Shinsaibashi Shopping Arcade, and about 10 minutes walk to Nihonbashi (if you don't want to take the subway for ¥120). Hotel is fairly new and very clean. Majority of the staff there speaks English so communication is not an issue. The included breakfast buffet is great although they serve almost the same food items even morning. As we all know, hotel rooms in Japan is usually small so don't expect u can lay your suitcases flat on the floor. Bathroom amentity uses Pola products, a well known brand in Japan. There are facial mask and other skincare products and even bath salt you can get from the lobby. I would definitely recommend this hotel based on its overall value.

First stay in Osaka and to be honest I had no idea where the central tourist spots in town were. I picked this hotel because the rooms looked a bit bigger and I liked the hotel's general style. Turns out the hotel was very well located in the centre of town, right in Shinsaibashi (shopping district), walking distance to Namba (or a single stop on the subway), and very easy to get to Osaka Castle. Breakfast buffet at this hotel was awesome, with a good food selection and great quality. Lots of fruit juices too (also good quality, not the cheap over sweet stuff). When I return to Osaka I will definitely be booking here again.

This hotel had recently opened so everything was still sparkly clean. I've never stayed at this chain before, but have stayed at many competitors such as APA and Mystays. And I gotta admit that this particular UNIZO location had the best facilities of them all. It could be due to the layout, but the room felt more spacious than expected, and there was no shortage of amenities readily available in room. I was ok with less or having to go to the front desk as is the case with other hotels. The keycard controlled elevators is a nice touch for security as the card determines which floors the elevator goes to and prevents wanderers. The staff was fantastic and very helpful explaining things to make sure the stay was enjoyable. The location is as good as it is going to get for the namba/shinsaibashi area with the street it is on being relatively quiet and close to the subway station. Definitely among the best value you can get in the area.

The room rate is reasonable because it includes breakfast. The daily breakfast is also ok. The 7-11 convenience store is just beside the hotel, for other food options. The hotel is also beside a subway entry for the train. It is also about 600 to 800 meters to shinsaibashi-suji, a long stretch of shops where one could find H&M, uniqlo, sanrio, daiso, mcdonalds, etc.. The end of this stretch is the famous dotonbori where the popular Don Quijote and the Glico running man can be found. Some shops also offer different kitkat flavors and anello bags. Although the Anello building is just on the opposite side of the shinsaibashi-suji. Given the chance, I would still book at Sarasa. Plus, the staff are very polite and accommodating. Five stars for Sarasa Hotel Shinsaibashi!

Hotel was right in the very trendy neighbourhood of Shinsaibashi where there was plenty of places to eat and shopping all around you. The famous Dotonbori area with its bright giant neon lights along the riverside is only 10-15mins away. Hotel itself was clean with its room's very spacious and well worth the money paid for the room. Free Internet is supplied on two computers in the lobby area. Some of the staff don't have the best english but are always willing to try and help no matter what. Another quirky thing about the hotel is that they have a pet rabbit which lives in the lobby. The hotel is a little further away from Shinsaibashi subway station then the Yotsubashi Subway line which I wished we had known as the maps around Shinsaibashi Subway station area were very confusing being that each map was displaying different directions to the area we needed. Ended up taking a small taxi to the hotel; don't think we would have found it otherwise actually so this is against it in the larger scale of things.

5 mins walk to Shinsaibashi subway station. Between the walk from the Hotel to the subway station, there is an outlet of the famous Ichiran Ramen, which open almost 24hours from 8am to 6am. Shinsaibashi suji shopping belt link all the way to Dotombori and Namba area. All by walking. Do note that the subway from Shinsaibashi to Namba though is a stop away, it's 180 yen. Not cheap. If you are with a family of 4, taking a taxi cost around the same price. Also, there are many Pubs, clubs besides the Hotel. Young couple would love to stay here. Hotel staffs are excellent, very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is situated really well. It’s clean, easily accessible and great bathroom bed is comfortable. The best part was the staff there. They were incredibly helpful. Some of the best service I’ve seen of any hotel in my travels. We needed to get to the station to make a flight and they got us a taxi that could fit my snowboard bag and made sure the driver knew where to take us. It made our final day in Japan very easy. Thank you for your help to the staff!

first of all, the hotel is wonderfully located. it is nice and close to everything and yet on a side street so noise isn't an issue. everything is within easy walking distance; a main subway station with lift access for travelers like myself who have huge bags, a well stocked 7/11 with lots of ukon no chikara and, of course, dotonbori. all hotel staff that i met were pleasant and kind and spoke at least a little english. the clerk checking me in on the first night was pretty much fluent. the rooms were surprisingly large, huge by japanese standards. it was also a nice touch that they were all non-smoking, yet they had little smoking couches on each floor. all in all, one of the best hotels i have stayed in.
