Staying in this hotel is one of the best option when you visit osaka. The hotel provides you all the essential facilities you needed including a free smart phone with wifi, heater, warm sleeping clothes, blower, safety box, bath tub, etc. The buffet breakfast is also good & healthy. The staff are all accomodating and they will help you with all the direction info for your travel. The location is very strategic for tourist bcoz it’s near the train station hommachi and walking distance to shinsaibashi shopping ctr & the famous food trip street - Dotonbori. They also offer free wine or beers at night once you get membership (it’s for free). We’ll definitely recommend friends to stay in this hotel. ☺️👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

- location is great, prime area - Shinsaibashi subway station, convenience stores and local eateries are ample around the area - short walking distance to other prime areas - Shinsaibashi-suji shopping street (just across the street - behind Daimaru), Dotonbori bridge (famous neon light advertisements - Glico boy), Namba …. easy to explore, when standing on the main street of hotel, just go across and walk towards your right …. - clean rooms, can see that the chambermaids are all out to accomplish this (never seen so many chambermaids on a floor at any other hotels) - guest services officer, Ms. Miki Ukai was very helpful in assisting to make arrangements. Good job, Ms. Miki Ukai!

My stay at APA Hotel Namba- Shinsaibashi was positive; after staying at another hotel the previous night where the bed was a bit too stiff for my liking, the soft bed at APA was a welcome discovery. The rest of the room was satisfactory, as well, as long as you're like me and don't mind it not being spacious. Additionally, the location is terrific- being just minutes walking from the main shopping street of Osaka and all the excitement. I will say, I was disappointed by the breakfast buffet. The spread was underwhelming and I wasn't all that impressed by what they offered. As Osaka is renowned for its food, eating elsewhere would be my recommendation.

Very near to Shinsaibashi shopping street like 5-8 mins to get there not only Shinsaibashi, u can walk to many spots within 15-20mins. and It’s actually located in the center of the city we didn’t take long to go anywhere which can shorten transportation time. There are lots of restaurants downstairs and nearby. Very clean room and is bigger than I expected. Bed is bigger than normal double bed, Perfectly fit in two adults and a kid. Also spacious enough to open two big luggages. Very friendly staff, I asked many times about parking before the trip and they replied patiently within a few hours. Parking lot is small, only for 2-3 cars, for those who plan to drive need to confirm the parking with the hotel beforehand. Overall, I like quintessa a lot and would recommend to everyone.

the chisun hotel shinsaibashi is a nice hotel with clean, tidy, safety and near to shinsaibashi train station and nagahori train station.. just walk about 15 minutes can reach dotonbori street and shinsaibashi suji (famous shopping areas). there is also near the branded shopping building (along the way to shinsaibashi suji. you can enjoy the famous local food (takoyaki and okonomiyaki) in dotonbori and shopping as much as you can... you must try the fried chicken in shinsaibashi suji street... there is very convenient with train to go to universal studio, aquarium and kansai airport..

I most definitely enjoyed my stay here. Booked two rooms and both were clean. Rather spacious for Japan's standard of rooms. Family Mart and 7eleven are both within walking distances from Ark. 24hr Yoshinoya is just across the main entrance - great news for the foodie! The subway is just 5 steps to the right of the hotel's side door. It's easy to get to the airport by subway - though you will have to change at Tengachaya Station to the Kansai Airport Line. Walking distance to Shinsaibashi-suji and Dotomburi, which is also near to Ebisubashi-suji. Lots of shopping to be done! Check out for Uniqlo's flash sales to get your steals. For the cometic fanatics - Shinsabashi is the place to be.

Perfect location, spacious room, clean and comfortable bedding. Staff speak good English and friendly. Breakfast was very good and I looked forward to it everyday! Short walk to Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi-suji. There is a 7/11 right next to the lobby which is a plus. I would definitely stay here again! TIP: the easiest way to get to the hotel from Shin Osaka station is to take the subway to Nippombashi station exit #2.

This is my second time staying here. I love this hotel. It’s a very lovely hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Great location (within a minute’s walk to Yotsubashi station; 15 minute walk to Dotonbori; 15 minute walk to Shinsaibashi-suji). Small (though this seems to be standard for most Japanese hotels), clean, updated rooms. They have a yummy, affordable breakfast buffet downstairs as well! Great price for a great place.

The location of the hotel is perfect to me - a place away from the crowd but accessible to many tourist spots. It is located at Nishi-Shinsaibashi, two blocks away from America Village and about two-minute walk from shinsaibashi station and shinsaibashi shopping street. There is a convenience store right around the corner. The hotel is new and everything is neat and clean. It offers different activities for the guests every day - cosplay, kimono dressing, takoyaki making, and etc. the lobby is not spacious but it is cozy. There are five massage chairs free for the guests to use. The multilingual receptionists are super helpful. The hotel room is quite small but it provides all the essentials - hair dryer, shaving cream, facial foam, bath towels, tooth brushes, shampoos, bath gel, free bottled waters, and etc.

The hotel's location is key. A short walk brings you to the Shinsaibashi Shopping Street, and if you continue the walk, you will reach Dotonbori and Nipponbashi area shopping streets. Check out the side alleys for more eateries. Assess to metro is easy. Underpass walkway from Shinsaibashi Station to hotel. Once you alight from the subway, exit from Exit 2, and go towards Crista Nagahori / North No. 5. Staff were polite and daily breakfast was great. The hotel is located by the main road. If you are a light sleeper, you may wish to request for a quiet room, towards the back of the building.

This hotel had recently opened so everything was still sparkly clean. I've never stayed at this chain before, but have stayed at many competitors such as APA and Mystays. And I gotta admit that this particular UNIZO location had the best facilities of them all. It could be due to the layout, but the room felt more spacious than expected, and there was no shortage of amenities readily available in room. I was ok with less or having to go to the front desk as is the case with other hotels. The keycard controlled elevators is a nice touch for security as the card determines which floors the elevator goes to and prevents wanderers. The staff was fantastic and very helpful explaining things to make sure the stay was enjoyable. The location is as good as it is going to get for the namba/shinsaibashi area with the street it is on being relatively quiet and close to the subway station. Definitely among the best value you can get in the area.

The hotel is in a good location, at the end of Shinsaibashi shopping street, there are lawson and 7-11 nearby. Go out at Honmachi station exit 12 (stairs only) about 300 m or exit 7 (elevator and escalator) about 800 m. You can start shopping from here straight to Shinsaibashi and Dotonburi. The hotel room is same as standard room in japan, check in and check out process use machine.

The room rate is reasonable because it includes breakfast. The daily breakfast is also ok. The 7-11 convenience store is just beside the hotel, for other food options. The hotel is also beside a subway entry for the train. It is also about 600 to 800 meters to shinsaibashi-suji, a long stretch of shops where one could find H&M, uniqlo, sanrio, daiso, mcdonalds, etc.. The end of this stretch is the famous dotonbori where the popular Don Quijote and the Glico running man can be found. Some shops also offer different kitkat flavors and anello bags. Although the Anello building is just on the opposite side of the shinsaibashi-suji. Given the chance, I would still book at Sarasa. Plus, the staff are very polite and accommodating. Five stars for Sarasa Hotel Shinsaibashi!

We are a group of three visitors from Hong Kong travelling to Osaka in Mid May,2014, for nine nights. It's really hard to find out a specialised 3-people room in Osaka during this high season. Then, luckily we found Lions Rock through agoda. The first thing is that they offer a really nice late check-in service. Our flight arrived at Kansai Int'l Airport at 1a.m. then we arrived at the hotel at 2:30a.m. but the receptionists kindly welcomed us and quickly finished the check-in service. Though they do not have really high proficiency in English but their attitude was kind, sincere and they were very responsive and willing to help with anything for the check-in. I would also say the location was very accessible and convenient. It was located near Shinsaibashi Shopping Street, proximal to two subway stations (Yotsubashi Station and Shinsaibashi Station). It's also just a ten to fifteen minute walk to Namba Station, which can connect you to other cities in Kansai and the KIX airport. The nine-night stay was entirely pleasant with the efficient cleanup and very nice staff who would greet you whenever you bumped into them in corridors or inside the elevator. Some of you may fear that it's located in the precinct with strayers but I would say they will not cause any disturbance to you and the police station is also just a few streets from the hotel. It's entirely safe.

Stayed here for 3 nights in a twin bedroom. Location about 2 blocks away from shinsaibashi suji shopping street and daimaru. Cost 230 yen from Uemeda station to Shinsaibashi station using Midosuji subway line. Longer walk from Jr nanba if using JR pass. Check in was speedy. Staffs speak good English and explained well about the facilities available at the hotel. Love the hotel decor. Have a fireplace at the lobby. Room is compact but very functional. Love the bathroom especially the rain shower. Hair dryer is powerful - panasonic's top range. Had 2 days breakfast at the hotel. Food range is the same for both days. Love the chicken nuggets and fish tempura with tartare sauce. Wide variety in salads which includes black radish which I have not tried before. The pork stew in white wine is nice too. Taste like gyudon but pork. The only thing I didn't like about my stay was some inconsiderate guests that shouts and talks loudly along the corridor early in the morning, disturbing other guests who might still be sleeping.
