shangri-la's boracay is as full service as they come. you have to sort out your own flights from manila to caticlan (closest airport to boracay) but after that, the staff at shangri-la take over. we were met at caticlan's tiny arrival hall by a handful of very cheerful staff. they picked up our luggage and ushered us through to a waiting shuttle bus. the bus took us to the resort's private waiting lounge by the dock, where we could relax on comfy couches while waiting for the speedboat to the resort. we were served with lemon ice teas accompanied by damp hand towels to refresh ourselves with. the speedboat arrived shortly and we were whisked away to shangri-la's private dock on boracay. here we were greeted yet again by a bunch of friendly staff. did we have to walk to the reception? no, we were carted off royally in buggies (like the ones on movie sets) along a route which showed off some of the resorts best features. so, a hassle free start. no waiting in line, no taxis, no uncomfortable rides. we stayed in a deluxe seaview, which was a very spacious and comfortable room with a large and usable balcony. the bathroom is almost as big as the room itself, with 'his and her' sinks, a large tub, separate shower, and yes, a comfy toilet. the rooms are serviced twice daily, fresh fruit is delivered in the morning, and bookmarks are placed on the covers in the evening. we even received little gifts for xmas (candy and cookies). there is a conveninent shuttle bus which runs from the hotel reception to d-mall (the downtown area of boracay). it runs hourly up until 6pm, after which it runs every half hr. there is a return shuttle from d-mall also. the resort boasts multiple restaurants and bars. we only tried one restaurant, solana, which is located on the tip of the resort and has the best views of the water. it overlooks shangri-la's two private beaches. they also play live music and have cool little outdoor 'nests' to dine in. ok this should have so

It was an unforgettable hotel experiences we had at Alta Vista de Boracay. My wife and I have celebrated our wedding anniversary at this hotel. We were picked up by their own shuttle service at D-mall where Alta Vista has own exclusive pick-up and drop- off place at D-mall. To our surprised a welcome drinks was offered to us and a seamless checked-in was carried out. We were also astonished that there is a bottle of wine with a welcome note coming from no less than the Hotel Manager Mr. Arie Sena. We stayed in a Loft Suite with veranda overlooking the panoramic view of their infinity pool and Boracay beach. Generally the loft suite room and bathroom was immaculately clean, linens and towel are also white and clean. The loft suite has coffee and tea making facility, microwave, Mini fridge, LED TV, two huge couch and two beds. Alta Vista de Boracay is contemporary cluster buildings. It is very easy to go to main building (Reception, Lounges and Dining areas by simply calling the Front Office concierge to pick and drop you wherever cluster building your accommodation is located. The phone is available by the entrance of each building aside from your room. It will only take 10 minutes to go to Puka Beach by their hotel free shuttle service to their exclusive Beach place where you can relax and swim at their exclusive cottages free of charge with their own Lifeguard who is willing to assist and attend you to your needs. You will only have to book at concierge if you wish to go to Puka Beach, while going to Dmall, it will take around 15 minutes from hotel vice versa. Shuttle services have a schedule of every hour from 6:00 to 12:00 midnight free of charge. It is very convenient as they have an exclusive place for pick- up and drop-off point. Every staff of the hotel are way beyond and above to their best of providing” WOW” experiences and extra miles excellent services to me and my wife. I will definitely come back to this hotel and recommend to my friends and relatives.

It’s my first time to stay in a Movenpick hotel/resort and I was completely blown by their overall amenities and service. All the staff and crew were polite and friendly, the rooms are new and always clean, the food is also very good (no need to go outside of the resort!), the beach bar has amazing music and cocktails, the chocolate hour was a nice surprise (we liked the coconut chocolate!), the spa is divine, and of course, the view of the sunset is unparalleled. It may not have the best sands of the White Beach in the popular area of Boracay but to me, their beach is better because it’s not crowded as only the guests are around. Considering the state of Boracay currently, going out will be really a challenge and their topnotch amenities are really a blessing to our vacation. When we needed to go out, they have a reliable shuttle service that you can take that will save you from all the hassles of commuting in the dusty road (the roads in Boracay are under construction). Excellent!

Thank you Savoy Boracay! My family and I had such an exceptional stay in Savoy Boracay. Everyone was so accomodating, friendly, warm, and always had a sincere smile on their faces. We went to Boracay to celebrate our daughter’s birthday and the guest service associate Jess arranged a complimentary birthday cake for her upon our arrival. Mich and Patricia were so helpful in arranging our room accommodation that would cater to my family’s need. The view in our room was breathtaking.! When we entered our room, the front staff (Patricia, Carmela, Uriah, Yam) surprised her with a birthday song, balloon, and cake. My daughter was so happy! The hotel pool is a good alternative to relax after a long day of exploring the island. The private beach is beautiful. It might not be as lively and exciting as the white sand beach in station 1,2,3 but it is clean, and safe. You can also go for kayaking or go for a quick and relaxing swim. We truly had a wonderful stay in Savoy Boracay!

located on top of a hill north of station one, overseeing the ocean on both sides of the island. hotel soffia is a very relaxing place to stay. my wife and i have been visiting boracay since the early 90's before we have our wonderful kids. back then, we even have to charter a small plane to land in caticlan, when it was just a small air strip. we've stayed in many different resorts and hotels along the white beach since then. we pretty much stay along the white beach almost all the time, but this time we decided to stay further away from all the noise and commotion. hotel soffia offers a very relaxing stay in boracay, and the hotel staff is very nice, and extremely helpful. from the person who drives you to the beach, to the cafeteria staff, to the hotel manager. everyone treats you like family. i would definitely come back here again.
