"I loved everything about this place! Great reception area and the manager was very friendly. Heated floors in the bathroom was a very nice touch. The only thing I wish was provided is a washcloth. Other than that, the hotel is well located, we were able to get straight into our rooms when we arrived and the included coffee and bottled water was a welcomed touch. Very easy check-out as well. Just leave! I will ABSOLUTELY stay here again. Thanks for making a weary traveler feel a more comfortable. "

"Good location, refurbished Kensington Close Hotel with the usual Holiday Inn branding upgrades from what it once was when just the Kensington Close. A good enough ‘city tourist 3.5Star’ but no, not a genuine lavish 4 Star hotel as the more serene, well designed, refurbished, European city centre establishments can be. That said, it procides what it states on the tin. It would be fairer to have it badged as a good 3.5 Star hotel in its design, layout, finish & room decor plus sizes. But certainly for a Kensington High Street hotel that is well located, convenient, clean, tidy, well presented property it ranks as a very decent 3.5 Star. A good gym although much of the Life Fitness strength equipment is actually residential / light instituitional range & NOT commercial. Good cardio equipment & a great Dual Adjustable Cable & plenty of free weight dumbbells, barbells discs etc. so one can get a full workout. They charge guests extra to swim which is rather annoying. A good 3.5*."

"I did try hotels 5 stars and some appartment but like this appartment I never experienced a really comfortable staying in London. Bigger space more comfortable with family. I loved the kitchen and there is washing machine and dishwasher as well. The best u get daily to the room breakfast as warm fresh breads and yogurt and jam and some cheese and honey and juice with hot fresh black coffee and milk on the side. I booked the balcony room and I was surprised about the balcony was as 3 balcony with setting area as 2 chair and small table with each balcony and its really huge with others appartment with same price. My other family booked room without balcony both of them get special space almost same as mine as an bigger one but still some deluxe room got bigger space some dosen't and some got bigger room and some bigger dining area so all there rooms is different. Cleaning is amazing daily and so kind and helpful actually they do the service same as hotels 5 star they even working and cleaning on weekends and Easter holiday . "

"Stayed at Safestay Kensington for a week and was very satisfied during my stay there. Absolutely value for money as the environment was beautiful and the beds were amazingly comfortable. Location was slightly tricky, as I alighted at Holland Park station which was a fair bit of a walk especially dragging my luggage up that endless hill in the cold weather. High street kensington station seems to be easier. The bathroom and hostel area were very clean, it was such a pleasant surprise. The staffs were also friendly and helpful, which was the best part. The breakfast were the same food every single day so maybe that wasn't as good. Could probably switch it up a little. "

"Stayed here for 3 nights and then decided to upgrade our room for another 3 nights to a larger room in a better location in the hotel The hotel is located adjacent to Kensington Palace on Kensington High Street. and is close to the Underground for getting around efficiently. It had a great Asian restaurant in the hotel where we enjoyed an excellent meal. Special mention to the concierge manager and his staff who were terrific in arranging restaurants and theatre tickets. Got us the best seats! "

"The hostel is located right behind Great Albert Hall and near the strip of museums, however the only thing is that it is a slight but further from a tube station that other places I have stayed before. It is around a 10 minute walk to South Kensington/Gloucestor Road station. The staff are friendly and the rooms are spacious. The room I stayed in had an ensuite as well which was convenient and cleaned every day. The hostel offers a 1-pound donation simple breakfast with toast, cereal, cookies and milk - and coffee and tea. They also offer a free dinner most nights cooked by the staff. The living area was also spacious and well-decorated. Overall, this was a social hostel with many activities hosted and roommates were quite social too. Large amount of Australian staff and Australian guests staying here too, good and safe feeling neighbourhood, the only thing that lacks at this hostel is that there is no reading light or charging point at the bed. Also there is no lift."
