Arrived in tagbilaran by ferry and before even getting off we look out into the city and saw a building that was higher than the others. Had a hunch that it was the Belian hotel but wasn't sure. We were thinking that if it was that, then we had scored because it was very close to the port. As we exited the port, it became clear that it was the hotel! It is a walking distance , however, like anywhere in the Philippines, you get tricycle drivers who would persist in taking you somewhere. And since it was hot and we were tired, we did ride the tricycle. Also saved us from having to carry out luggages. First impression of the hotel - very clean and modern. Especially for something in the province! They provided welcome drinks and the staff were very polite and helpful - we hadn't been to Bohol before and they were helpful in giving us directions and tours. Room was very clean too and so was the bathroom. They were both very spacious for two people. I requested for a late checkout over the phone as we were running late coming back from panglao island. But they were strict on this because they were apparently booked out. Came back to the hotel and we couldn't access the room with our key even with our luggages still inside. Had to go back to reception to ask for the key to be resetted. It was understandable that they couldn't let us check out late because it's booked for after but I would have appreciated it if they tried to understand that we only needed an extra 15 mins since we were to catch a ferry right after anyway. Instead she turned me down straight away. Also there were heaps of people who checked out even later than us. It was a very pleasant stay and good value for money. Another plus is they actually have a free shuttle service to the port so we were able to avail that. Just disappointing that we hadn't known when we arrived and had to spend money on a tricycle.

I had to use the hotel safety deposit boxes as their was no safe in my room. The room itself was clean, modern but was fairly basic in its fittings. The bed was comfortable but not outstanding. I utilised their in house laundry service which was extremely quick and well priced by western standards. The included breakfast was continental only meaning a morning upgrade of around 250 peso's is required to make it something worth eating. The food was hot and well prepared, waiter staff varied from efficient to less so. Try the filipino style breakfasts for variety. The hotel is located one block from a small Mall with a supermarket, a must for the essentials. Their are nearbye churches and the waterfront is a brisk 20 minute walk or a 25 peso trike trip one way. The ferry terminal there has a Supercat Service to Cebu that costs around 600 peso one way in a 2 hour journey. The hotel arranged for me a day tour, 2500 peso included an english speaking driver and modern car. The tour includes sites such as chocolate hills, the largest python (yes you can go in the cage and touch it!) hanging bamboo bridges, oldest Cathlolic church and museum, butterfly house and the highlight for me the Loboc river cruise. Out of pockets expenses such as entry fee's will cost you around 1500 peso more. The tour lasts all day so bring the sunscreen and mosquito spray. Bacck to the hotel. Pool and gym located within the building looked good allthough I didnt use either. The hotel has a night club located on the ground floor. I am sure its great for the under 30's scene. Security is well maintained. Overall hotel gets a B+

One of the best budget hotel in Bohol. The staff were extremely accommodating. Breakfast was good and they also have free transfer from and to the airport and the seaport. We walked from the ferry terminal to this place. It is a nice spot away from all the activity of the city. Rooms are nicely decorated, clean & comfortable. TV has a wide range of English channels. Breakfast was good. It is in walking distance to some ok restaurants. Great room facilities, just wish that they have bidet in the toilet but it's not a problem to us. bed is comfy and air conditioning unit is good. i am surprise that the room we booked has its own terrace. the very best part is that the breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of choices and tastes good. my 3yr old toddler loves to watch in their Smart T...The Hotel is new. It was AMAZING, the staff was SO accommodating. Our ferry kept getting cancelled due to the typhoon, so for four days in a row they were able to rebook us. They had their 3 year anniversary party and invited us to partake in dinner, drinks, and karaoke. They offer breakfast with the room purchase which can be delivered to your room in the mornings! I would certainly recommend this hotel for staying in Tagbilaran.

The receptionists and attendant are always smiling. since the hotel is very near to city and malls, we can go back and forth the hotel whenever we want. All in all our stay at vest pension house was worth. But if you're planning to visit more of panglao island for a swim, this hotel is very far from panglao and trips going back and forth there is only up until 4:30PM unless you'll be arranging with them a vehicle for your transportation.

We went to Panda Tea Garden Suites, we were so happy because the rooms were almost the same quality of that of MetroCentre Hotel. I am very very satisfied with my stay here, considering the very ugly hotels and inns of the same price. It's also a five minute walk away from the biggest mall in Bohol, Island City Mall or more commonly referred to as ICM. I will definitely book this hotel again!

well, i booked using agoda but it's not necessary if you travel solo and want their less expensive rooms, as they aren't available on that website. i paid €18 or $24 via agoda, which was the cheapest price available, however if i had just walked in, i could have gotten a room for a bit less. they had plentyof rooms available. there are cheaper hotels in tagbilaran. th...well, i booked using agoda but it's not necessary if you travel solo and want their less expensive rooms, as they aren't available on that website. i paid €18 or $24 via agoda, which was the cheapest price available, however if i had just walked in, i could have gotten a room for a bit less. they had plentyof rooms available. there are cheaper hotels in tagbilaran. the room was ok, but there was no elevator, which meant walking up flights of steps with your baggage. air-conditioning and hot water worked ok and there was a small tv. the reception staff was friendly, but not particularly knowledgeable or helpful with my questions. the hotel was right in the city center, so well-located. my room was pretty quiet and quite spacious. i found it very convenient to stay in the city, rather than out at alona beach, for one night so i could go out and see the tarsier sanctuary using public transportation.from the hotel it was a short tricycle ride to the bus station, from where you can catch a jeepney or bus to corella/sikatuna and descend at the tarsier sanctuary. the hotel is also convenient for the ferry terminal at the pier.

The Hotel Price was very Cheap so we didnt expect much. You have to book a Executive Room to be able to look out the Window. Lower Categories dont have any Windows. The receptionist are as usual in the Philippines very slow and fairly enthusiastic. Overall we had a good stay there and I would book this hotel again. By the Way there is a free shuttle Service to the Port and Airport from 07:30 - 18:00 I believe. We used it to the Port as we took the Ferry. Everything was very good organized.
