Friendly efficient staff, spotlessly clean apartments which were a treat after days at work meetings - making own snacks/tea. Lovely lobby. Small shop to the left across the road. 3mins down the street to the rt on piccadilly street are several larger shops for food/drink. Aldi to the left 5mins away. Piccadilly station less than 10mins away walking which allows easy t...

Great hotel, really nice spacious and modern rooms. Staff were very friendly and check in/out were a breeze. There is a very nice rooftop bar too with a good food and drink selection. Location is perfect, short walk from Manchester Piccadilly and the city centre/main nightlife. Will definitely stay here again.

We were delighted with our choice for this visit to Manchester. We didnt want to stay in the centre but wanted to be within walking distance. The location is perfect. The hotel is spotless clean and bright and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We stayed for two nights. On arrival we were greeted by a lovely receptionist. Our room was lovely. It was bright...

what a gorgeous hotel! You can easily get lost through the halls because it's so huge but you really wouldn't mind because the decor is amazing! We got a fantastic deal, saving a couple of hundred pounds which was fab! The staff were exceptional, we arrived early so couldn't check in yet and the lady at reception seeing we were suited and booted for a wedding offered t...

This is the first time I booked through Agoda, and it was quick and easy. The only downside of the booking was that when we (my partner and I) arrived at the hotel the room that was booked was a twin (not double). The hotel did say that booking through a 3rd party can sometime not specify the type of room (so it's worth putting a comment in the additional/special reque...

Lovely clean hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. Superb location for Manchester Pride......literally the Gay Village, us literally a 5 minute walk away. And a 2 minute walk to Piccadilly Square and all it's shops and restaurants. The hotel is right next door to a Whetherspoons, so we went there every morning for a very cheap but hearty breakfast. Will be usi...

I had to book here last minute due to my air bnb host going awol on me... ON MY BDAY! Anyway thanks goodness! It was a blessing. This aparthoted had all the same facilities if not better. Staff where friendly. We stay in the signature studio which I think is the entry level for this hotel and it was beautiful! I was able to cool everyday and enjoy a powerful shower in ...

a large hotel with an excellent location close to travel hubs at piccadilly gardens for the tram and piccadilly or victoria stations for the train. also well located for nightlife. check in was efficient. room was decent size with attached shower and clean. only con was the lift which is so slow i preferred to use the stairs on occasion.

we stayed at doubletree hilton in manchester for two nights. the hotel was clean and everyone was friendly, but for the price i would have stayed somewhere else which was closer to the city center. the location of this hotel is good if you need to be near the piccadilly station, otherwise it was a bit difficult to get to the hotel from and to other spots in the c...

This is s nice hotel located in central Manchester. This hotel allows pets and our dog was very comfy. Many restaurants nearby. The street car station is very near. There is a street food market nearby. Lots of great shopping nearby. The area is very busy at night with a lot of people drinking. I found this very lively area fun. We noticed a wet spot on the carpet out...

I paid £30 for my room online, for which I received a room with tea and coffee making facilities, am emsuite of shower, sink and toilet, free soap, loo rolls etc, and a clean room with a telly on the wall, and a comfortable bed. I note other people's remarks about a shabby first impression, but it should be noted that the vast amount of money required to really do the ...

Stayed w/e end January for a show at the Opera House. Had booked well in advance so two double internal rooms were just £120.00. Upgraded on arrival for £10 each room for rooms with a view. V spacious and comfortable. Hotel has a restaurant and 24he bar, though we doesn't use either as we ate/drank out. It's about a 10-15 Min walk to the Opera House and about anot...

Had a great time celebrating my husbands 50th birthday. This hotel is in a great location close to the city centre with plenty of bars and restaurants in the area. Close to Oxford Street Station. Great if you want to shop. The staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and couldn’t do enough for us to make our stay extra special. Great restaurant with fresh food and an...

We booked the Mercure 2 months in advance of our stay. We booked an executive double room as the value was incredible. Our visit to Manchester was initially for the Manchester United v Liverpool match however the Premier League moved the matchday! Luckily we had the Christmas markets to visit! The hotel was brilliant. Comfortable bed, great power in the shower and the ...

This is the second time I’ve used this hotel, while in Manchester for the football and this time I stayed two nights due to the train strike. The rooms are modern and clean though a bit on the small side. You have a flat screen tv , kettle with tea coffee etc. The shower as a rain shower too which is always a bonus.. location five minutes from Piccadilly train station....

This place is very close to markets/shopping centers, bars/restaurants, the National Football Museum, and Victoria Station. We had a great private room with a double and twin bed. The bathroom was nice and clean. The staff was mostly excellent. The drawbacks were noise-related. The floors were extremely creaky (room/hallways), and very uneven is some places. Also, ...

I stay for one week and very happy with the cleanliness of the room and bathroom. The staffs are also very helpful. I wanted to extend my stay for another two weeks, but the hotel was fully booked. The best location. A walk away from the Manchester Metropolitan City Univ, and Univ of Manchester is very close in 5 minutes walk distance. The Manchester Museum is a very ...

Had a really great stay at this hotel, it’s really close to the canal street bars and clubs, also within a short walking distance to the main High Street shops. My room was very clean and comfortable and the staff were helpful if I needed anything else. The gym was small but sufficient though I mentioned to the front desk the cable machines needed a service as they wer...

The room was very clean, spacious. Loved the bathroom. Location is so close to Piccadilly station, less than 5 Mins walk, and also close to the bus station and city center. It has Starbucks on the lobby, so that's very convenient. Aircon is a bonus. But I had to wait for about 15mins to check in because of the queue at the reception. So I think the hotel should put mor...

We had a great time. As said previously, friendly and efficient staff who were also knowledgeable about the area. Nothing seemed too much trouble. The overheating hair dryer was swapped within minutes of bringing it to the attention of the young lady, Lisa I think, a member of your room maintenance team. The room was spotlessly ran, the aircon worked well, though the ...

The stay was great. Location was really central to everything. Shopping centre was 10 mins walk away with cinema just opposite the centre. Trams and buses stop were opposite the hotel. Glad to have chosen this hotel. It's was only 15 mins walk from Manchester Piccadilly station and had everything you need only a few minutes away.

The hotel location, check-in and the room are all excellent. We slept really well, there were no problems with noise. Breakfast was just far too busy. There were people constantly walking right next to our dining table attemptibg to get to the serving area, making our breakfast a truly unmemorable experience. My wife didn't enjoy the food itself and my own thought...

Ideal location just off Piccadilly Gardens. Good location for the Arena or Conference Centres. Rooms are clean, large and very comfortable beds. The bathrooms are excellent with powerful showers and good quality toiletries. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. The only let down is the price of the breakfast - £16. This may represent the going rate for some hotel...

We check in late due to our flight arrive almost midnight but one hotel staff was there waiting for us. When we require to make a local call to someone and the staff was very willing to lend us their phone. There is a soccer floos table at the lobby for guest to enjoy a quick friendly game. Many pubs and clubs was located within close primoxity to the hotel. 15 min wal...

I stayed 2 nights at the Park Inn. It's a 5-10 min walk from Victoria station, Shudehill tram-stop, (Victoria tram-stop is closed for refurbishment) and the NW corner of the city centre, where there are restaurants & bars. Room was very clean & comfortable, plenty of hot water, tea/coffee, digital safe, iron & TV. The free wifi took a long time to connect and was a bi...
