Find hotels in Sun World Ha Long Park

The room very clean and good view ( but unlucky we only get the room at level 6, higher floor will be nicer ). Ha Long bay is not much thing to do, stay 2 day 1 nigh is enough unless u want rest more at hotel, Ha Long bay more suitable for resort tourism. Difficult to find nice food but seafood is very fresh if you eat at the correct place ( highly recommend Hồng Hạnh restaurant ). One more big problem is the food serve in room quite horrible. I order 1 dish foie gras with crispy pork belly and this is not so cheap, but the foie gras is super smelly really can not eat, and the crispy pork but crispy until can not bite so end off also can not eat, quite waste money for this meal, but the breakfast at the hotel still ok, many choice, I also don't no why. Highly recommend to stay because everything is nice without the foie gras with crispy pork belly.

On our first day in Ha Long Bay, the front desk staff recommended a restaurant for dinner and told us it did not require reservations. We passed by on our tour through the city and thought we'd check out the menu. Menu looked fine, but when we tried to make reservations, the restaurant informed us that it was fully booked. Once back at the hotel after our walk, we informed the front desk staff that the restaurant was fully booked and if they could recommend another restaurant to us. They did and we walked there and found out it was fully booked. We were at this point in time tired and hungry and found a local eatery which served us well. Upon our return to the hotel after dinner, we informed the front desk staff that once again their recommendation was fully-booked. We asked them to make reservations for us for the following night at the first recommended restaurant since we quite liked the menu. They said they would, but never made the reservation nor did anyone get back to us to inform us that the reservation was not made. We asked the front desk once again the following morning if our reservation was made, and no one seemed to know what was going on. They tried to make the reservation for us, but told us that no one was picking up the phone at the restaurant. To be honest, not being able to make reservations for us at a restaurant really wasn't that big of a deal, but not getting back to us or being able to come up with an alternative, definitely irritated my wife and I. The conceirge seemed confused when I asked him about booking a trip to Ha Long Bay on a boat. After speaking to three other members of the front desk staff, I finally found someone who understood what I wanted to book. Once we actually got the hotel to book our cruise, I must say that the 6-hour private cruise in Ha Long Bay was very nice and the scenary was stunning! I do want to comment on the room itself. The room is very modern with a stunning view of the bay. A nice mounted

Nice, clean and comfy hotel. Nice view of Ha Long Bay and pleasant facilities. Though around there is a lot of construction going on. Not that much of a disturbance when it comes to noice, just that it meant the surrounding were a bit deserted and the beach was barely accessible. Good to know is that the upcoming amusement park and tourist area is supposed to be done within two years and will probably make the hotel's location amazing. The staff was really nice and the laundry service amazing. Speaking English might not be the staff's best asset, but there were a few okey ones.

Ha Long hotel The hotel is rather nice with expansive rooms and humongous bathrooms and spa baths. Whilst the rooms are nicely appointed the carpet is from a 70’s casino... The hotel is in an excellent location right opposite the Sun World park with its ultra impressive cable car et al. The breakfast buffet is, as buffets go, same same. The food is plentiful and there are eggs to order, but the food kept in bay maries is cold, but nice enough. One thing I don’t get, and never do, is why they serve frozen, rock solid frozen butter....??? We used the pool, which is nice enough, however it is extremely dangerously slippery around the perimeter when wet. Ergo it is always wet so always slippery and always extremely dangerous..... As for the massage and spa treatment, do NOT bother. The girls are not trained and it was the absolute worst experience ever...!!!

We booked several rooms and travelled in a large group with children. Hotel is located on the quiet end of Ha Long Road, a couple kilometres to night market & "main street" (way overpriced and overrated), around 20 minutes walk or just catch a taxi for less than AUD$2. Hotel lobby is wonderfully massive with a welcoming fruit drink when you arrive at reception. A fruit basket, coffee/tea/chocolate and bottled water is complimentary in your room. Features: electronic key entry, remote control lighting/in-room radio & alarm clock, slippers, bathrobes, iron, hair dryer, huge comfortable bed with white linen and very clean bathroom with separate tub & shower... Superior King room is very spacious, plenty of room for our baby to share the bed and crawl around. There's a gym and sauna, outdoor pool and two restaurants on separate floors. We had buffet dinner at the hotel's Four Seasons Restaurant on ground floor - very decent selection of food & drinks, & buffet breakfast next day (included in booking fee) again good variety and restaurant staff were great. We spoke Vietnamese to staff so they were always helpful with our enquiries, unsure about their english so cannot comment. We suggest researching before booking tours via hotel (we were short on time so paid AUD$200 for a 4-hour private boat Ha Long Bay tour for our group, but the shifty crew ended up sneaking extra people on the upper deck). Hotel was happy to hold our luggage after check-out while we went on tour. Overall good service, clean & spacious rooms, good food, great value, relaxing atmosphere... would stay there again.

After three nights in Royal Lotus Hotel Ha Long, I have to admit that it is the best hotel which I have booked via Agoda. Royal Lotus Hotel Ha Long is a brand new hotel. Consequently, the facilities are very modern and good as a four star hotel. I also was impressed by the room design, cleanliness and pleasant helpful staffs as well. Without a doubt, if I come back to Ha Long, I will choose Royal Lotus Hotel Ha Long again.

Impress by the hotel location althought is quite a steep driveway to the lobby. The service staff is well train but english is still not well verse and sometime some questions that we ask didn't come with a answer. The room is big and clean, bathroom up to standard. You can even see the sea view in the room although it come with a balcony, should be the best seaview in Ha Long Bay. The only weak point is the swimming Pool, too far away for the hotel, you need to walk pass the hotel lobby and down the slope stairs. It could be ideal if is within the hotel itself. Anyway no complain, will come back again with family.

The beach is only 200 meters from front of hotel but it’s not clean so have to take a taxi at 10-15 k Dong to get anywhere or take a bike which are free at hotel to run up to ATM or a bakery or smoothie place . Breakfast at hotel was marginal with white toast fried eggs and terrible coffee but they include juice and a small amount of fruit - if you want lunch or dinner again not the best but it will do in a pinch . We arranged a tour of HaLongBay through the hotel and paid them , they called a taxi for us, and were helpful with arranging transportation from hotel to Ninh Binh and they were friendly can’t say enough about the staff, they also did a load of laundry for us. All fir a price but much appreciated. This is a quiet location but out of the way a bit from everything

the hotel was walking distance from the boats and the town as well as the beach and the night market. enjoyed our few nights there except the first morning was incredibly noisy with a bus load of guests leaving early but the next morning was ok and the pool is lovely but you have to walk out the front of the hotel and go around as there is no exit at the back. the rooms were a good size and the view is beautiful.

The managers helped us to translate and came to the police station with us to make a report on our stolen belongings. That was nice. the travel agent was super nice and he took us to dinner at a local restaurant and the food was amazing. He also booked us was great. However the walls in our room were moldy and there is no wall decoration whatsoever. It's a 4-star hotel but don't consider it as a 4-star hotel in the US or any other developed countries.

Mp Passport was collected on arrival which seems to be the normal thing to do in Vietnam. The room was quite big, more than I needed but was nice for a change. There was a bit of an odor which seemed to comming from the paint, it looked stained or mouldy. The a/c worked well and freshened the air . The bed was very hard. The shower worked really well and the bathroom was big. The wifi worked well also. I would stay here again. I was in room 404. There was a short walk to the activity in SunWorld but far enough away fir it to not be a problem.

A breath of fresh air at this hostel, it was spotlessly clean, offered a good range of services and features. We had no view out of our window but had the cheapest room so can't complain for the price. Must add though that Halong doesn't appear to offer much for guests if you're not interested in going to Sun World - nothing else to see and not many good restaurants, we found one place and went there many times (Eco Cafe).

Hotel needs to update its pictures it is no longer on the beach. The beach has been reclaimed and they are building a theme park and complex. Boats for halong bay are no longer based anywhere near here. Breakfast was OK mainly catering for Asians. But the standard eggs and bread were available. Room was very large with balcony and good view out to halong bay. The fixtures and fittings are very dated but clean. The bedding was good and the beds comfortable. Carpets in corridors needs cleaning. Restaurant was very comfortable. Staff were helpful and polite

We stayed in Viet Nhat Hotel for three nights. The room and bathroom were clean. The bed was a little bit hard, but you get used to it. The only problem was the noise from outside starting at 6 am (busses, motorbikes, workers) - we had a room to the street side. Ha Long City itself is unspectacular but the bay is beautiful. The whole family helped us a lot with booking a Ha Long Bay Tour and a bus to our next stop. The Ha Long Bay Tour was cheaper compared to the same tour at other hostels/agency. We would recommend the hotel.

Room is totally ok at this kind of budget. Clean & large bed as well. Kind of small family business and staff is friendly. If you stay in this area, be careful with brokers who always try to sell cruise tour in Halong bay. We met some of them and finally ended up with a guy since he said he is from the hotel. It turned out that he is not from any hotel, just a broker. A couple stayed at the hotel next door bought the cruise tour in Hanoi from an agent and it was much cheaper than I bought from the guy. You better do the same. Can stay one or two night in land and take a 6-hour tour in Ha Long bay.

Yeah i tell you how the staff services, when we come, she can't speak english, no smile, just one word for passport, and when we check out she didn't say a word, just accept the key card, the hotel still new, maybe it cause that. But the owner/sir very kind to us, when we arrive in our room, he came in, show us how to use the air con, the fan, and the shower. It's not really recommended, far from the harbour also.
