Hundred Stay was like 5 min from Jr Chuo Line - Okubo station, which is just 1 station away from Shinjuku (narita express, shinkansen to various destinations, special train to nikko and mt fuji). You wouldn't get bored walking that stretch too as there are lots of convenience store, drug (not that kind of bad drug) store and RESTAURANTS! We ended up always heading back okubo for food. There is even a supermarket just at the corner of the hotel and nice cheap western meal. Room: Nice Clean New building with good security. You need to tap once outside when it's past curfew, before you enter elevator and your room. Big room with big bathroom, automated toilet bowl, hot shower with spacious bathtub. Kitchen with all utensils, stove, microwave oven, kettle and wine glass. Big bed, pillow is abit soft though, nice view. Breakfast was various bread ham sausage cheese and yogurt, with a coffee machine and other drinks. They do room cleaning every 3 days, but if you stay long in one place, you tend to be neater so it doesn't bother us. Suggestion: coffee cups in room should be change to something that does not conduct heat that much and should provide firm and soft pillow to choose. Would love to stay there again definitely!

The Hotel is lucky to have him as he exemplified customer service! Our experience with Keio Plaza started on a positive note because of his services. The ambiance of the Hotel with the crystal chandeliers, the most beautiful flower arrangement in the foyer, and we even witnessed the new floral arrangement being done by a guy. The Shinjuku train station was a very short walk from Keio. Very safe and Odakyu, Keio Dept, n Lumine was right there!

Granbell is a great place to stay when you visit Tokyo. The location is right in Shinjuku. It is within walking distance to many good restaurants and shopping area like Isetan and Bic Camera. It is so easy to walk to the train station. The taxi ride from Shinjuku Station to hotel cost less than 1000 Yen. So if you don't want to pull your luggage along the road to the hotel when you arrive, or going to catch the Airport Express train or Expressway Bus, you can afford to pay for a taxi ride instead. The staff are friendly and have good command of English to communicate. They give good advice on booking train, bus ticket, finding places to eat and shop. This is a big plus when you are in Japan. The room price is also very reasonable. The size is small but it is still more comfortable than some other places that I have stayed before. It is modern, clean, and has all the bathroom supplies similar to well know 4 star hotel.

We were advised that the people in the clinic do not speak English and hence the lady at the counter translated all the terminology and wrote it on post-it for us to bring to the clinic. Love the service. The location isn’t the kind where you exit the train station and you see it. It’s quite a walk with the luggage, but, it’s worth it! We will definitely go back to this place the next time we go to Tokyo. (It was blistering cold to walk from the station to the hotel when the wind is strong!) In addition, we love the fact that the toilet bowl and the shower area aren’t in the same room. It helps! We also love the fact that the moment we open the door to the toilet bowl, the seat cover opens up itself. So high tech! Thank you for the pleasant stay. The JR Shinjuku train station is about a 3-5minute walk from the hotel using the EAST EXIT. The JR Shinjuku station makes touring Tokyo very easy because there are multiple lines coming through this station. The most common line is the JR YAMANOTE line. The hotel is also situated on a different train line, the SEIBU-SHINJUKU line. The hotel rooms are rather small, but just enough if you are not planning to spend must your time in the room. The room was very clean and was also stocked with multiple amenities for the guest to use. In the bathroom, big bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are also provided. There are vending machines near the elevators that sell anything from soda, coffee, and tea, to snacks like chips, ramen, and other quick eats. There's also an ice machine located in the same vicinity as the vending machines. The hotel comes with free wifi for guests only. Upon check in, instructions will be given i how to access the wifi. I will definitely return to this hotel.

The front desk was helpful calling around to all of the different restaurants and ANY time we had a question (which was quite frequently). We even had an issue with misplacing our wifi hotspot and they helped us call around to all of the restaurants and train stations we'd been to while coordinating with the wifi company. Couldn't recommend them enough! The rooms were clean and comfy with water and coffee/tea provided along with a humidifier and fully equipped and comfortable bathrooom. The location is close to the Shinjuku station as well as 7-11's and Lawsons and some 24hr food stops that came in handy with our jet lag :)

We knew the hotel had good standards since the staff were friendly, courteous, and helpful. In terms of convenience, I found the hotel to be perfectly located in Shinjuku since it was near other places of interest and it has a nearby connection with the train station. The facilities were also complete - includes a 24 hour convenience store, several restaurants, coin operated laundry, as well as nearby tourist spots that one can just walk to. In terms of the room, I found it very comfortable and eco-friendly. Maybe one thing that can be improved on is the airconditioning. It was winter when we visited thus it was the heater that was available. However, the room became so warm that we could not sleep and there was no option for cool airconditioning. But other than that, the hotel was worth staying.

From Yotsuya-Sanchome station, going to Shinjuku, Tokyo, Ginza, Shibuya is a breeze. AMENITIES Breakfast spread is very good. No lack of variety considering its excellent price point. No gym or pool though. That's a small downside. ROOMS Clean. Comes with humidifier which was a big bonus for someone coming from a tropical country. Can sleep better when the air is not as dry esp during winter. End state verdict. Booked by mistake. But did not regret it at all. Best mistake ever.

But I found out later that hotel also provide free shuttle bus from hotel to Shinjuku train station, the bus leave every 20 mins which is very convenient. This shuttle bus also take you back to the hotel from Shinjuku station as well. You can ask for the bus timetable at the reception. Also there's a subway connection right from the hotel lobby. I can get out the train at Nishi-shinjuku station and walk underground around 3 mins and pop up right inside the hotel lobby! Really convenient! Room view is great as I stayed at high floor. Really appreciate this hotel and I will recommend to everyone I know if they're going to Tokyo.

This is the first time we visit Japan so we would like to stay in a hotel where it's closed to the train station, food market, restaurant, money exchange machine ect. and this hotel suits our needs. The staffs are very friendly especially the man who is working night shift. I didn't ask for anything but he was kind enough to go out and get me a cup of coffee. I am speechless because I didn't know where to get the coffee at 4am in the morning. The hotel is decent, I don't have any complaints and if the hotel is willing to receive the review it means they are trying to do their best for their customers. The last thing I found out is they didn't take the tips that I left for the room services. They work not for the tip but for their excellent customer services. The train is right next to it, food is everywhere. I will come back and stay here without any hesitation.

The plus is that they have a washer dryer to wash your clothes. The bathroom is decent with a bidet! Small restaurants are a few steps away outside the hotel and even big department stores and small drugstores are about 5 minutes or less a walk away. JR Shinjuku Station is quite close and the San-chome train station is a minute walk away. My sister who has been to Japan many times and is well traveled also loved the location of the hotel. This is the perfect hotel if you want to explore shinjuku area and be close to JR Shinjuku Station! Would definitely recommend this hotel!

I am very thankful that I found this hotel via Agoda! I got 2 rooms, 1 for me and my husband, and 1 for my mom and brother. We stayed there for 8 days. The room was spacious enough for us and our luggage. The bathroom was amazing! I was clean and their toilet seat has that temperature control seat that is really convenient and comfortable to sit on. Though, we weren't that happy with the available channels they have on TV since most shows are in Japanese and they only have 1 channel that speaks english. But in the end, we didn't really mind since we only turn on the TV in the evening after exploring Tokyo. The one thing I'm not happy with is that they are not very accommodating when we tried to ask them if they can waive 2 hours extension upon our check out. They automatically told us that they need to charge if we stay after 11am. Aside from that everything was perfect and I will definitely book this hotel again when we come back to Japan. Location is super near a train station!

The facilities were spotless and continuously being cleaned, and the room was especially clean and disinfected. In the room, there were quite a few amenities--large shampoo/conditioner/face soap/body soap/moisturizer bottles, brushes, razors, shower caps, hair dryer, robe, and a free foot massager which was GREAT after a long day of walking and sightseeing. The room was slightly small, but it was still larger than others I stayed in around that area, but the view was grand. And the best part was that it was across the street from a subway station and only a 2-minute taxi ride from the very busy Shinjuku train station. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone for any purpose! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

My wife, son and I arrive in Tokyo by train to Shinjuku station. None of us had been to Tokyo before and did not know what to expect. We anticipated that the hotel was going to be short distance form the station so we could walk. Street addressing in Tokyo is interesting and even the taxi driver had a hard time finding the hotel. Checking in was a breeze and we found the room small but adequate for the price we payed for 3. My son loved the Wi-Fi and after a while understood there was internet access on floor 5 and 7. Our first room had some issues with the AC not working well but our second stay at the end of the trip on floor 5 had a great air conditioner. The hotel is off the beaten path but very close to night life which we did every night walking around. The free juice and soda station was used a lot by my son and wife. A nice touch. The front desk did exchange some US dollars for us but did not cash travelers checks which wold have been a nice feature since banks are hard to find. At least for us. We did not ever find a bank. The hotel is in a nice part of Tokyo and we felt safe everywhere we went. We would certainly stay at this hotel again and would encourage others to do so.

Washrooms come with tooth brush, hair ties, q-tips, ...The rooms are super tiny - but that's expected for the budgeted price and for Tokyo. Water temperature was also on point. The check in staff were adequate and nice. There's a restaurant downstairs associated with the hotel that sells soups and breakfasts so you don't have to go far for food. But there are also tons of restaurants just outside the hotel. The only little annoyance is that there's 3 APA hotels in that intersection and 2 of it has the exact same name. But they are just across the street from each other - so if you're in the wrong one they will let you know. But they should really differentiate the name.

I guess this is only recommended if you have medium sized luggage with you. Its near the night spots and a Lawson beside. I wont mind booking here again.

I loved my hotel room. I was on the 14th floor (top floor) on a corner room so it was very quiet. The curtains blocked out the bright sunlight. The room was very clean. The staff spoke English and very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent because it was only a 2 minute walk to the nearest subway station. There are lots of convenience stores nearby such as Family Mart, 7 Eleven, and Lawsons where I can buy cheap fresh fruits, hot food, sandwiches, drinks, etc. There are many restaurants nearby. The big shopping areas are only one stop from the nearest subway station. All the major tourist attractions can be accessed by subway from the nearest subway station. I would book this hotel again if I visit Tokyo again. I highly recommend this hotel.
