The room size is very decent considering that the hotel is setting in one of the best locations in Tokyo. (Bathroom is quite large and clean compared to many of other hotels in Tokyo I have experienced). This hotel will definitely be on my top list for next trips to Tokyo.

We were traveling for our honeymoon and wanted something nice but not too expensive. Even though it may be pricier than some other hotels, you pay for the awesome location (sheltered all the way to Shimbashi station, and connected to Ginza station. We had a great, two-night stay at the Sardonyx. We were put in a smoking room at first (which was probably my mistake when I booked) but they quickly moved us to a non-smoking one. A nice breakfast (not fancy), clean rooms, comfortable beds, good local information. The location is great, just a fifteen minute walk from Tokyo station and right next to Metro and JR stations that lead to all the tourist hot spots. Particularly good for Disney as the resort is just two stops away. I would highly recommend this hotel in Tokyo and we plan to return.

I loved my stay at the Millennium Mitsui and I will stay here again in the future, possibly every time I visit Tokyo. The furnishings are comfortable and modern and the lobby is beautiful. It's perfect walking distance from the fish market, a main train station and I couldn't be happier with their staff if I tried. I came down with tonsillitis while I was in Tokyo and I made 1 call to the front desk and everything was taken care of from the cab ride to the doctor to my arrival back at the hotel. Another factor which is important to me as a traveler is Internet/wifi and the Mitsui had the best I've encountered in Asia. I could easily access everything I needed almost as if I were in my own place. To sum up, the Millennium Mitsui isn't the grandest hotel in Tokyo but it had everything I needed from an $ exchange kiosk in the lobby to superb staff that helped with anything and everything I needed during my stay. I will definitely be returning to this hotel.

The hotel is modern and close to the train station. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The lobby and the restaurants are located on the 16th floor and have a beautiful view of Tokyo. The buffet breakfast was amazing. You have a lot of options between hot and cold dishes. My room was on the 18th floor and had an amazing view. They even have a free mobile phone with internet in my room for use during my entire stay. Staff were nice and very helpful - especially the reception lady who was kind enough to explain to the taxi where we should go. Airport transportation options were also explain to us. I like this hotel a lot. And oh, We can borrow umbrellas! I will definitely stay again! If not here, then in other Sunroute hotel chains.

If you're a smoker, there's a mall around the corner called Matsuya Ginza which has a smoking room on the upper floor with all the restaurants (bear in mind there aren't many smoking spots left in Tokyo apart from some malls, restaurants and around a few subway exits). Less crowded than those popular tourist areas but it still connectto attractions by walk or by shirt transportation. Wonder staff and they had been helpful. They provide luggage storage services on the day you check-out. It’ll be a great help if your flight is later and you’re worried about to carry all your luggage before your last minute shopping trip or look around this nice city more after 11am checkout. We had been staying for four nights there, but they change sheets, towels, and refill complimentary supplies by daily basis even though you don’t request it!!! Highly recommended.

This hotel like the previous one again did not disappoint. They fit so much into the room that it is ideal for travellers - a washing machine, dryer, microwave, kettle, sink etc. I found the room to be spacious for Toky...I had previously stayed at another Tokyu Stay hotel in Tokyo but this time wanted to try the one in Ginza for a new location to explore to city from. This hotel like the previous one again did not disappoint. They fit so much into the room that it is ideal for travellers - a washing machine, dryer, microwave, kettle, sink etc. I found the room to be spacious for Tokyo standards and the bed incredibly comfortable. The location in Ginza is fantastic, particularly if you are travelling from Haneda Airport as the subway line for the airport is literally 50 metres from the hotel entrance. The staff were also wonderful, including the very friendly staff at breakfast each morning who always made you feel incredibly welcome and were very helpful in ensuring you had everything you need. I will definitely be staying here again the next time in Tokyo.

Location is excellent because we have access to 2 stations (Shiodome which is right in front of the hotel and (Shimbashi which is about 400m away) giving us access to about 6 or 7 lines. We can even buy fruits of a more reasonable price at a mini-mart located in the basement floor near the Shimbashi station. We pass by it every time to had to go to Shimbashi station. If not for this mini-mart my family would be a bit deprived of fruits as we have a habit of eating fruits daily. Kyoho grapes were in season and we managed to eat them because of this mini-mart! Laundromats and vending drink machines are on alternate floors and microwave oven is on 2 floors. Making eating the fabulous instant noodles convenient!

This hotel is supposed to be operated by robots, but the only robots we saw were the talking mannequins posted at the hotel's check-in counter. There was still a human to receive your booking, who just referred us to the computer screen after he took our passports and reviewed our reservation. But forgivable because I loved our rooms. Super clean, very nice room, excellent amenities, and the best hotel bathroom we had during our stay in Japan, from Tokyo to Nagoya to Yokohama. The best. The location is just a short walk from the train station entrance. This hotel is brand new, so of course it would be clean and nice. I especially loved the steamer in every room, the free wi-fi smartphone, the ample power outlets for charging all our devices, the bathroom space, and the comfortable beddings.

In fact, I've stayed in so-called "business hotels" in Tokyo that have rooms smaller and much more expensive than this one. Everything was clean and comfortable. We managed to boil water, prepare simple meals in the small kitchenette area, with its fridge. The environment was also great, with two convenience stores (Lawsons) just two minutes away. Lots of small eateries around, too, if you are hungry at all hours of the day or night. And despite its great location (subway station a stone's throw away), the neighbourhood is not rowdy or touristy - really quiet and nice. The hotel itself, too, was modest and peaceful (no rowdy guests in the common areas and corridors or thin walls, as far as we could tell). The free shuttle bus to Tokyo station, which departs in the morning and then brings you back to the hotel in the evening, also makes it convenient if you want to go sightseeing from that transport hub or catch the Narita Express to the airport. As for the onsen, it's outdoor wooden tubs are really quaint and a must-try. Best of all, it's never very crowded.

There's barely a place to put your suitcase, two suitcases are impossible, i'm afraid. So my recomendation is to check the size of the room in description before booking!

They give water, too! Something that not even the best hotels in Europe do. Everything in the room is so close together, it's so cute! The staff were very polite and spoke in English and they held on to my luggage both before checking in and after checking out at no additional cost. I also liked that there were many restaurants and convenience stores nearby, you just have to keep your eye out for them. (There's a pretty good udon place just three minutes away!) Now, I wouldn't recommend this at all if you're not travelling solo. You won't even have walking space. Rather, get one room each. It's very affordable anyway. Also, it was a little difficult getting from the airport to the hotel, but that's not the hotel's fault. Shintomicho isn't a main line. You really just need to take one or two stops to get to a main line, though. There are other lines within 5-min walking distance. Disney Resort is just 30 minutes away (sometimes even less), perfect for families who are worried about long travelling hours after a long day at the parks. Will I stay here again? FOR SURE.
