Spent seven nights at the hotel whilst in Tokyo for a holiday. My wife and I enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. The hotel staff, from the concierge to the restaurant staff to the chambermaids were friendly and helpful. We had our daily breakfast at the hotel -- the pastries were good, particularly the pecan danishes which were available in small delicious pieces. We got much helpful tips on what to do in Tokyo from the concierge. The facilities were of high quality. One issue, though -- the room was a tad small for my wife and me -- hence, our rating of 4 stars instead of 5. The hotel is located very close to nice eateries and the Shinjuku shopping area.

Graet experience staying in Hundred Stays Hotel. This hotel got everything you need for your traveling. Unlike other luxury or expensive hotel in Tokyo, Hundred Stays Hotel room size is much more comfortable for a couple or family to stay. It is very clean and the hotel facility is good. Even it has Microwive, frige, and laundry machine in the room, so it is a perfect hotel selection for visitors or business man who will stay in Tokyo more than 5 days. Moreover, there is a convenience store right on the 1F of this hotel building and tons of restaurants in its neighborhood. 2~3 mins walking distance from hotel to city train station. It is my NO1 hotel choice in downtown Tokyo.

Our stay at Keio Plaza Hotel is great. First of all, they are included in the route of the Airport Shuttle Bus. Second, we can see Tokyo and it's surrounding area by going up the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building for free and located in front of the hotel. Third, they are included in Tokyo Disneyland's Partner Hotel which provides free shuttle to and from the theme park. Fourth, the hotel is located close to Shinjuku train station. Fifth, there are department stores, restaurants, and mini-marts located within the vicinity. Sixth, located at the basement of the hotel are restaurants, convenient store, and bread shop. And Seventh, for one day, we can see Mount Fuji from our hotel window!!! Check-in and Check-out is a breeze. Will stay again in this hotel when we return to Tokyo!!!

This hotel is close to several attraction in Shinjuku (Robot restaurant, Samurai museum, Sega building, Metropol. Government building, bar streets (Golden Gai), and several restaurants are near by. Shinjuku station is around 15 minutes walking distance. ). The location is great for nigh live (due to bar and restaurant etc.). Just a comment that probably it is not a ideal location for family with young children (e.g. there are several Love hotel and other places near to the hotel).

My 18 yr old son and I, stayed in Tokyo for just 2 nights. This was our first time being in Tokyo and wanted to experience the busy of Tokyo. It seemed like Times Square on steroids. We had a great time walking around, the area always felt safe, very busy. The only negative to the hotel is how close it is to some of the seedier side of Shinjuku, you don't really notice it except for the guys that stand in the middle of every intersection and ask, i think mainly because we were white tourists, would ask if we wanted massage or more. Outside of having to deal with them, and they weren't to aggressive, we absolutely loved our time in Tokyo. The hotel was clean, enjoyed the spa and a very seamless hotel experience. I would stay here again. Thank you

on 12th July night, we approached the reception desk to ask about delivering one of my luggage to the next hotel in Tokyo while we are away for Kyoto for 3 days 2 nights. The receptionist was so helpful, he not only helped us complete the form which is best written in Japanese (and he's got really nice handwriting!), he also called the receiving Tokyo hotel to inform them about my request and confirm their address! He also patiently explained to us about the pricing. As this is our first time trying this luggage delivery arrangement, his help really put us at ease. His name starts with T (i really regretted not getting his name). We are really grateful for his help and service! Hotel wise, it's clean and in a peaceful neighborhood. The area is easy and nice to walk around. It was drizzling when we were there so the weather was so nice for us to stroll to and from Ginza + hotel. It's also v near Takaracho Subway Station which makes it really convenient

This is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in Tokyo till now. And I have been to Tokyo at least 7 times. First, this hotel is so new, just open this year and the room is much bigger than any traditional small room of hotels in central Tokyo. The location of the hotel is so good, close to subway station. You can take a walk or jog in the morning to Meiji Shrine, Omotesando and Meiji Shrine Outer Court. Also, the hotel has a hot spring in 10th floor and have a nice baseball stadium view and quiet atmosphere. The hotel is at Aoyoma region belonging to culture and education region. Before I only booked for staying at this hotel two days. After stayed this hotel two days, I really like it and decided to stay at this hotel for two more nights. I love this hotel so much, so I strongly recommend to and travelers who come to Tokyo to stay.

A brief walk to Shinjuku JR made this hotel a great starting point on our first trip to Tokyo, we were able to get up in the morning and grab starbucks from the shopping centre in the building, then walk over to the JR station to head out on our daily adventures. Our room was always meticulously made up when we arrived back at the end of the day, and any staff we bumped into could speak enough english to help us and were very polite. The free wifi in the building was fast and reliable and the views of the city from our room was beautiful, I can image that higher than level 12 (our level) that the views would be magnificent! The room was small (this is Tokyo) but certainly not the smallest room on our trip, we'd certainly stay again!

Location is really convenient close to JR Shinjuku station. You can go to many attraction in Shinjuku from this hotel and almost all are within walking distance like Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office which you can go to observatory deck for a good panoramic view of Tokyo for free, Kabukicho is Japan's largest red light district and many department store, and etc. Due to JR Shinjuku station is like central hub station you can get to many part of Tokyo or even all over Japan from this station careful when navigate in this station through because you can get lost here easily. Plenty of shop and restaurant around the hotel and some restaurant are open 24 hours too. 3-4 convenient store like Lawson, Family-mart, 7-11 are locate really close to the hotel, Lawson is locate next-door to the hotel so it's really good if you need to have some quick snack or meal. The rooms are clean and really comfortable have all facility you need also in my opinion room size is bigger than other hotel of the same level. Staff are really polite and helpful.

Very clean rooms and helpful staff. Family Mart convenience store inside hotel (24/7). Express bus to Narita. Hotel is right next to Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, which offers free views of Tokyo from the 45th floor observation deck. Short 10-minute walk to Shinjuku Metro Station (may need to show passport if purchasing 3-day pass). Fifteen minute walk to Kabukicho. Small rooms but that is common in Japan. Prices are reasonable in comparison to similar hotels in the area.

Hotel location are quite good, not at the heavies location, but still at the edge of the busy areas. After get off the metro from both Shinjuku or Shinjuku-Sanchome, go find exit B10, which is the another underground tunnel shopping area. Then find for exit no. 13 with stairs. when you get to the ground, you will see mister donut at the corner, turn to your left at the right hand side of walkway, and you will see the hotel sign at your right side. There is Lawson and 7-11 at the same street. Post office just opposite of the hotel at the government building. Staffs are very kind to help me for all the special request i had to made during the trip. Double room, are big enough for you to open up 2 small, and 2 big suitcases at the same time.

It's situated out of hustle & bustle city. There are 2 entrances to subway station nearby the hotel. One is located right opposite the hotel and another is by lift about 3min walk along the hotel side. We had 4 days continuous stays there. Cleanliness is perfect. They replenish daily consumable and house keeping items although we put a note that we have enough :) (They will leave it in front of the room daily) There are post office, pharmacies, convenience stores and local fast food chain & McD, medium range restaurants nearby the hotel. However, there is no famous tourism spot within 1km. We explore an 1km+ night walk through a garden to the Metropolitan Building observation room. It's totally safe, as there are youngsters and skateboarders hang around there. Note: They allow early storage of luggage before check-in time.

It's a really convenient hotel located right on top of Shinjuku station, and connected with the huge Takashimaya department store complex. Perfect for those who wants to do shopping. You can simply go shopping first, take your stuff back to hotel and go out for food. There's no need to worry about wasting time. Hotel reception is located high up on 20th floor and all rooms are located above this floor. My room had a really magnificent view of the Shinjuku garden and buildings in Tokyo. The room is, to my surprise, quite spacious, from Tokyo standard! All amenities are very clean. However, I feel the staff I had wasn't particularly nice. Oh, another great thing is, if you have rented a car, do park your car in the basement of the Southern Tower building and get a ticket for 24 hour parking from the hotel (it costs just 1000Yen). Remember that the ticket can only be used once - I had a misunderstanding on this with the staff.

We are from Austria (Europe) and it was our first time in Tokyo. We (couple) 30 years old, can really reccomend this hotel. The room is small, but this is normal in Tokyo. There is no cabinet/wardrobe in the room, so we had to live out of our suitcases. This was no problem for us, but good to know. Everything was clean. We got new towels every day, even if we didn't need them. At check-in you get a plastic card, which says, if you leave this card at the reception, than you room will not be cleaned on this day and for that reason you will receive 2 bottles of water. We used this service everyday and received always two bottles water. The Hotel is very near to the metro/subway station called "Yotsuya-Sanchome Station". It takes 15min by metro from "Yotsuya-Sanchome Station" to "Tokyo Station" which is the biggest station in tokyo. And if you come or go to the airport, you have to change at Tokyo Station.

this hotel is very recommended. good services.Guests can recharge with a game of tennis or browse the hotel's shops. The hotel’s beauty salon offers relaxation and refreshment. Directly connected to Tochomae Subway Station, the hotel is a 5-minute walk from the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building. Shinjuku Train Station is a pleasant 15-minute walk away, or a 5-minute ride in the hotel’s free shuttle. The Kabukicho area and Isetan Department Store are a 20-minute walk.

To be frank, it isn't THE most value for money hotel to stay in, and you can easily get cheaper accommodation elsewhere in the city that is still near a train station. But it was still a good experience staying here. I like the fact that there is a small humidifier in the room. Winter in tokyo can be terribly dry, and very few of the hotels I stayed in had a humidifier. So that was what I liked about it. Like most other hotels in Tokyo, this one doesn't come with a safe though - so do lock up your valuables in your luggage case before you leave the room. (not that this place is unsafe).

easy to find if you know how - when coming out of shinokubo station (and you can only come out on one side) look left along the road and about 100m along on the right hand side of the street you will see the tokyo plaza hotel sign in red. the immediate area is reasonably quiet (it is tokyo) there are a range of food places from convenys to small sit in eateries, the breakfast at the hotel is a good deal too. we mostly caught the train first thing in the morning to sight see, really easy and quick to travel all over tokyo on jr lines and cheap too if you buy an all day ticket- pretty much you are a maximum of 1/2 an hour away from anything in tokyo. the hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and with helpful staff, rooms perhaps are smallish but we fitted in fine with all our skis and luggage, and is good value - but check their website first. if we stay in tokyo again we would stay here

Very good breakfast buffet, friendly staff , always greeting us with a smile. Average 10 minutes walk to Shin-Okubo, Seibu-Shinjuku, and Shinjuku station. Close to the Samurai Museum, Hanazono-Jinja Shrine, shops and restaurant. Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building is just a bus ride with three stops(take the bus from Hotel Gracery Shinjuku(WE) get off at Shinjuku Washington Hotel Zen bus stop it cost 100 YEN it's free to go up the building you will see an amazing view of Tokyo.

JR Shinjuku Station is about 10mins walking distance (with luggage in tow). Tokyo Subway lines F, M, and S Exit C3 is one minute walking distance (no escalator. Exit C4 about two minutes walking distance (with escalator). This serviced apartment/hotel is basically a convenient jump off point to many tourist attractions. Cleaning services only provided if you stay more than 7 consecutive nights, though towels and toothbrushes are replaced everyday. Check-in guys are very responsive and polite. The room as expected in Tokyo hotels is small but still good enough for 2 adults to move around. The feel of the room and toilet are like you're in a Cruise ship's cabin. It is quite cozy, modern and clean. One thing they could improve on is the quality of the toilet paper provided, it sticks on your skin when you wipe so it is quite troublesome. Overall, this is one of the best value hotels I've stayed at in Tokyo. We will definitely be back. P.S. free UCC coffee from 7am to 12mn. So this was very comforting during the morning when the weather was cold! :)

Aside from stained floor (but they provide room slippers) everything else is excellent. The hotel is just across from subway station make it very convenient to travel. The room itself is spacey comparing to other hotel in Tokyo at the same price. The bed is large enough to fit me and my daughter (4 yr old) comfortably. Toiletry supplies are abundant, they even give you toothbrush, tooth paste, shaver, body sponge, big bottles of shampoo and body wash and etc. One of our toothbrush bag was opened so we request a new one, someone replaced it instantly without any question. The hotel also offer some goods that you can only find in Japan e.g. Japanese printed umbrellas, Japanese pattern clothes, watches, snack, etc. I found that the price is standard (same price as in other stores), so it's very convenient. You can also get metro day pass here at a discount price as well. All in all, I'd give it a 4.5 stars out of 5. I'll stay here again if I visit Japan.

Whenever I visit Tokyo, I (nearly) always book this hotel because of kind staff, convenient location (It takes about 8 minutes from Shin-okubo station) with reasonable price. There is a family mart(CVS) near the hotel where you can buy some simple groceries. Please kindly note that when it is over 10pm, the main door to the front gets to be locked so you need to open the door by using your room's card key. I'd definetely book this hotel again in near future when visiting Tokyo. :-)

I first interested in this hotel because of price. This is my first time to stay in Japanese hotel in Tokyo. So I didn't expect for anything. But for this value price, I really really impressive. Hotel is very nice. Room is new and always clean. Staffs are also nice and helpful. The Tokyo Metro station is just 10 m next to the hotel. Or about 20 mins by foot to JR Shinjuku station. There are many nice Japanese restaurants and 24HR family restaurants around the area. Mc Donalds is just around the corner. Metro to hotel is a bit complicated but when you get used to it, there will be no problem. I will definatly stay here again when I visit Tokyo next time :)

Our 4-night stay at Hyatt Regency Tokyo was great. I travelled with my wife and 2 young sons (4 yr old and 2 yr old). We stayed at a twin bed room. The room was spacious as our 2 sons kept running around the room. The reception and concierge were very helpful especially to guiding us how to get to the tourist destinations we wanted to go. They also gave us options as to which train transfer were most convenient for us given that we were travelling with kids. The hotel is 1 train station away from the Shinjuku station but it's not a problem. The hotel provides for free shuttle service to the shinjuku station every 20 minutes. The hotel is located beside the Metropolitan Government Office where tourists are free to go up their Observatory. They have the North and South Observatory where you can see almost the whole of Tokyo. You can even see Mount Fuji from afar. There is also a small park at the back of the hotel if you want to go for a run in the morning.

I really loved this place. I chose this hotel after a horrible experience on airbnb. I booked this hotel instantly on Agoda. THANK GOD for Agoda. When I got to the hotel the staff barely spoke English but they did their best to accomodate and communicate which to me is the only thing that matters. Room was tiny but clean. It was good for 1 person. TV was big, airconditioning is amazing, food was substandard but it was cheap at 1,000 ¥. With all the 24 hour convenience stores around it really was so easy to eat and grab essentials really quick. Love this hotel and I WILL Stay here again during my Winter Trip to Tokyo ;-)

We stayed at the triple option, one double bed and a single cot (it was more of a cot than a bed but not exactly a rollaway). Finding this hotel was not very hard at all. It is right off the Shinjuku-Gyoenmae Tokyo Subway Exit. We're talking about a block and a half and small blocks too. There are signs if you're on the major streets and the hotel has easy to read signs. Entering the hotel at around 1 pm, we weren't allowed to check in until 4pm, understandable since that's their policy, but they did hold our bags for us while we went out. Came back around 4pm and got checked into room. First impression was the room was tiny but it was expected given that this is Tokyo. Fellow Americans would think they are in a closet but the size is perfectly fine. The layout however leaves much to be desired. Technically we paid for a triple but our room definitely felt more like a double room with an added bed for the third person. That was fine. The arrangement however left very few navigating options. For example, a negative was the person on the single bed could not access the lighting controls on the other side of the double bed. The cleanliness of the room was outstanding. The bathroom was huge with a shower and a tub. The toilet was a fair size. The sink was fine. Towels are provided though it was tough to say for certain whether they were changed daily but it appears that they were. Robes, and other toiletries are provided as well. No need to bring your own shampoo, body soap, etc. The toiletries are better than most 3 star hotels in America. The one major downside here was the amount of smoking in and around the hotel. The lobby entrance has a smoking area and there were plenty of people smoking. The hallways were full of a smoke smell but no one clearly smoking. The elevator rot of smoking smell. As for the windows, there were windows but they were practically useless. On the inside there are shades. Behind the Window, there are blinds that

The room is clean and slightly bigger than most hotels in Tokyo. The place was only a few minute walk from Mejiro station and there are some convenient stores nearby. The staffs were helpful, though some of them could not speak English well. They provided complete set of toiletries and offered some other stuffs like facial mask, hair clip, face wash, etc which you can take for free when I checked in. No halal food in the breakfast menu, but they were willing to provide you with full list of the food ingredients if asked before you come to the hotel.

First of all, you need to know the room is indeed small (16 sqm) which is the same for all hotels in Tokyo for this price. If you are very very tall like 180cm then you might find standing in the bath room a bit problematic. However, putting that aside, the amenities are more than complete. The wifi with protected password are extremely strong (25mbps). There's mini bath tub, free evian drinking water, toiler with remote controlled bidet, very tidy and clean room, free mila schon shampoo, conditioner and body was gel on top of the provided shampoo, rinse and body wash, free toothbrush, shave, facial wash, clothes deodorant, bubble was ball, hair brush, free ice at 8th floor machine, free green tea, etc. Just put the house keeping sign outside the door and the room will be clean as new and everything used will be replenish except the mila schon stuffs unless the see nth left then they will replenish. The staffs can speak moderate english and one male staff can speak very well chinese. You can buy the 500 yen (worth 600 yen) voucher from the hotel to be used at the Tully's coffee downstairs. The Tully's Coffee pumpkin latte is a must try! Everything is nice! Next to it is also the Lawson store sth like 7-Eleven. The hotel will recommend cheap and good food to you and be very honest about all the tourist spots if you ask them. Hospital, restaurants, shopping complex, drug store and supermarket is just within 3-10 mins walking distance. There's the Don Quixote supermarket that sells almost anything at cheap price near the Korean Town that occasionally will have debuting Korean Star promoting themselves offering free signatures and photographs. The staffs are helpful and nice to offer any assistance you ask. They even have a weight scale for your luggage to make sure you don't go overweight for your flight! Awesome! The hotel is just next to higashi-shinjuku subway station. It is quite far from the red light district area. This area is for shopping, not for sightseeing.

I loved my hotel room. I was on the 14th floor (top floor) on a corner room so it was very quiet. The curtains blocked out the bright sunlight. The room was very clean. The staff spoke English and very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent because it was only a 2 minute walk to the nearest subway station. There are lots of convenience stores nearby such as Family Mart, 7 Eleven, and Lawsons where I can buy cheap fresh fruits, hot food, sandwiches, drinks, etc. There are many restaurants nearby. The big shopping areas are only one stop from the nearest subway station. All the major tourist attractions can be accessed by subway from the nearest subway station. I would book this hotel again if I visit Tokyo again. I highly recommend this hotel.

Pros: - cosiness - very clean and neat - has all the essentials you need if you're out most of the time exploring - comfy bed - friendly staff and daily housekeeping - super convenient location (2mins walk from Akebonobashi metro station which is just 2 stations from Shinjuku and just minutes away from 7-11 and good ramen places) Cons - we didn't really have any issues but I'd say as a warning to very tall or large people that the bathroom is quite small (can barely fit 2 average-size people at a time) with the shower being especially tiny if you're over 170cm tall. - you might be left with limited floor space if you have more than 2 large suitcases because the room overall is small (which is typical of hotels in Tokyo but actually this place is considered bigger than average for the price) - staff speak limited English but are very friendly and will always try to help you as much as they can Overall, we really enjoyed this hotel for its simplicity, service & convenient location.
