This hotel is a good basic hotel provided all amenities needed: toothbrush, comb ...coffee machine, tea. Very very good location as next door is 9-floor shopping centers, 03 floors of restaurants, basement is Subways stations + foods, cake + lunches/dinner boxes + few noodles restaurant + breakfast shop that open from 8am. Just crossed the street is Tennoji station, the main station that you can access to subway, go directly to Kyoto / Shin Osaka/ Kansai aiport by express train Haruka ( price double vs subway but mostly you have seats & it is faster). Next to Tennoji station is Mio shopping center + 2 floors of restaurant. Some open at 8am for breakfast, there're few more shopping centers & restaurant around. .. so it is very very convenient for eating & shopping, especially good in Japan because with 2 stations next door you can travel around Osaka & Kyoto, Nara, Hiroshima

Location - just one street away from 大阪上本町 Kintesu station, and 8 mins walk from 谷町九町目 subway station. Just take these two lines for a station or two you will arrive at famous tourist spots like Namba, Dotonbori, Shinsaibashi and Umeda. There are 2 convenience stores, a 24-hour super market and a 24-hour comic cafe right next to the hotel. The 上本町 Yufura mall right next to the hotel also made shopping and dining convenient. Service - Everything was systematic. You got a key card for access to your room, your own floor, and through the main gate of the hotel after midnight. You can also get free bathing salt at the main counter. Room - relatively more spacious than typical japanese hotel rooms. Neat and tidy. Breakfast - 3 fixed sets (literally just the same food with slight difference) to choose from. Quality was quite nice but it gets quite boring when you stay there for more than two night. Overall, good value for money

First, the unsatisfactory aspects of this hotel: 1. Unattentive bellhop/porter staff - they didn't assist unless asked - this is a big no-no for a 4-star hotel - young lady-porters struggled with heavy bags 2. No temperature control for in-room A/C - centrally controlled by hotel, either HOT or COLD or OFF - to adjust room temp, open the slot under window 3. Room window is small for the room size - lovely room size spoilt by tiny window Now, the good points: 1. Possibly best alternative location in Osaka - just out of busy Shinsaibashi, Namba or Umeda areas - 2 subway stations closeby: Tanimachi-9chome, Uehonmachi - JR Loop station: Tsuruhashi (10 mins walk) - plenty of dept shops next door (Kintetsu, Uniqlo, McD) - great choice of eateries within 1-2 km radius - Osaka Castle and Shintennoji temple precinct walkable (or only 2-3 subway stops away) - direct Kansai Airport access via limo bus 2. My premium twin room more than satisfactory - quite large by Japan standards - comfy beds, quiet floors - CNN channel, free wired fast internet - high standard room service food Will stay here again if the price is right.

Very easy to get here from the airport via JR to Tennoji Station.. across the road through the subway station you can find the hotel... the glass lifts to the hotel lobby is amazing... with breath taking views... even the feeling before you reach your room has a feel good moment.. after a tiring plane trip to Osaka. Well greeted by the staff.. We stayed at level 57 which was very high.... the whole surrounding was beautiful... the only dissapointing thing was we booking a twin bed instead of a queen bed as you can't push it together to form 1 big bed like most hotels. But the room size is ok not super big but enough and comfortable. A must stay if coming to Osaka 10/10

My husband and I booked the Hotel Bali Tower for a one night stay in Osaka. They accommodated an early check in for us, and while the staff didn't always speak English, they went above and beyond to give us wonderful service. After seeing the room we instantly booked another night. Some reviews stated the room was too small, and we found that to absolutely not be the case. It's a Japanese hotel, so of course rooms won't be as large as ones in America (just think of the space limitations). We got a massage while there, and my husband, who usually isn't a huge fan, loved it. The room was super romantic (we got a deluxe king) and the bathroom was amazing. The only bad thing was the breakfast buffet. Some items were cold when we got there about 9 am, but it certainly could have been a one off. The rest of the hotel was so fabulous that didn't really bother me though. Room service was great, and the food was fast and hot! It's about a two minute walk to the subway station, and has several shops around it. I cannot say enough good things.

If you dont know the area finding the hotel is quite tricky. But actually is super convenient from tennoji station to the hotel. Just take the elevator to abeno walkway and walk towards QQ mall there should be sigh to the hotel (must take another elevator to the lobby in the 3rd level). From abeno subway station exit 12. The room was really nice. Got the superior room so it was spacious to put our 2 big luggages. The room is clean. The bathroom is nice. One of the best hotel we stayed in japan. Esp from and to KIX airport is really convenient. Really recommend!

Enjoyable, comfortable stay. Comfortable sized apartment-size rooms. Neat, efficient use of space with flourishes of modern, efficient Japanese design (twin fire escapes, metal doors, motion activated corridor lights etc). Free wi-fi, with Netflix. Kids loved it! Quiet, family neighbourhood. Close to the famous Shitennoji shrine, Tennoji zoo. Has a well stocked supermarket a 2-minute walk away. Bliss! 5 mins walk from the Shitennoji-Mae Yuhigaoka subway station (1 station away Tennoji station - well connected to KIX ). 15 mins nice walk thru quiet neighbourhoods, from Tennoji station - great to warm up for (& wind down from) hectic Osaka. 5 stars! The hotel is close to the subway station and also the airport bus station. You only need 5 minutes walk from the bus station to the hotel and easy to find. Lawson store just next to the hotel so that you can easy to buy some snacks even in midnight. The service is great, staff are very nice. Also the room is clean and big (compare to other hotel in Kyoto and Osaka). Only thing you may worry is the room facilities are bit old, but all the stuff are work well. I will definitely go back to this hotel again.

It is very good for group travelers with full necessary facilities. In my family room has a hair dryer, shampoo, liquid soap, slipper, clothes hangers. It is very new and clean. You can use central facilities like fridges, dishes, electric hot plates, Japanese tables, including foot onsen. It is not too far from JR and subway station. You can easily find convenient stores, such as 7-11 and family marts all the way to hostel on both sides of the street The only thing that I can suggest is it would be nice if you provide fridge in family room.

The hotel is excellent if you are using Kintetsu line and Kansai airport limousine bus service - both within 5 minutes walk from the hotel. It is very useful to catch the bus to the airport early morning to avoid the morning peak traffic with the subway. Subway station is a bit further away with about 10 minutes walk, which is fine as it is linked with underground from Kintetsu. The staff is not very fluent in English but he is trying his best to help us. Most of the times the staff is in the office so you will need to ring them out to the reception. My double bed unit is spacious and comfortable, with a queen size bed and another sofa bed beside it, and there is also a small balcony outside the unit. The toilet is the usual Japanese size, the water temperature in my unit takes a few minutes to heat up though. Bedding is very comfortable and the air conditioner is working perfectly. The washer and dryer are very cheap. Overall this is a great stay for apartment style accomodation.

Helpful and friendly staffs, clean and new facilities, quiet environment. I don't even need to search for locker at train station because I can store my luggage at the hotel before and after my stat! This saves 800 yen for the locker fees. Besides this hotel is walking distance to great mall! Haruka and Q's Mall are both shopping malls that satisfy your shopping desires. The location is easy to find! 1 minute walk from the exit 4 of Subway station, and drug store and breakfast store right at the exit! The pros are too long to be listed. The only cons is that the bathroom and toilet are a little bit far from the cabin, but this is expected for a cabin hostel.

Half the time i was cursing myself for choosing this hotel and other half the time i was praising myself for choosing this hotel. Cursing Myself: At least 7 to 10 minutes of walk from the nearest metro station - Ebisucho, a 7 to 10 minutes walk is nothing to worry about if it was a bustling neighborhood but it wasn't and i was travelling alone, it got unnerving when i was walking back at 10, 11 pm at night. Praising Myself: It is a nice respite from the vibrancy in Osaka, the setting of the rooms gives you more space than the normal hotel rooms, coupled with the tatami and a very comfortable bed, i slept well through the night. Staff tried their best with English and were also eager to help. The breakfast was simple but good for taking a break from all the heavy cuisine.

This boutique hotel was a gem! Close to tsuruhashi subways station (exit 4 if you have luggage for the lift or exit 3, go left, there will be an alley way, walk down for about a 1/4 mile, turn right when you reach the main road and hotel trad will be on your right about 100 feet from alleyway) or same distance from momodani station (JR line) opposite direction. The rooms were very clean and spacious, staff were all very nice and helpful and the wifi was very strong. I LoVED the furo style bathRoom ( in Japan you fill the tub with water - but scrub and rinse yourself first, then relax and soak in the tub)- it was really good after a entire day of shopping. There is a kitchenette for your use but the surrounding area has a lot of local cheap eats that I would suggest. Tsuruhashi station is surrounded by a lot of yakiniku places. Very delicious and there is also dried seafood stalls for gifts to take back home (Omiyage). I would strongly suggest to explore this neighborhood! A++++

Hotel is located in residential area, but has a lot of restaurants nearby the area. Kintetsu station is 10-15 minutes walk, so it’s easy to go to Kyoto and Kobe. The airport limousine bus stop is 10-15 minutes walk and it’s located near Kintetsu station. If you wanna go to namba, walk 10 minutes to Tanimachi9chome subway station and take 2 stations. Hotel provides free breakfast during 7-9 am and kid can stay for free in twin room type. However, the building is quite old so I can hear the noise outside my room. The room has been renovated so it’s quite new and clean. However, if you wanna have fancy decorations, please don’t select. I don’t mind about the decorations, so I think this place is fine.

Pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness, friendliness and convenience of the hotel, even though the rooms are a bit tight. It's conveniently located near a train station, convenience stores and a delicious okonomiyaki restaurant. We were able to leave our luggages at the hotel concierge after check out to go around the city before heading back to the airport for a late night flight. The staff also called a taxi for us to ride back to airport. Warning though for families with small children, do not turn on the TV as we were horrified to see adult channels.

The room is big, stylish and spacious. Although it is a love hotel, they allow children to stay if accompanied with adults. Their hotel room has many amenities, robe that can use as towel, pyjamas, brush, hair dryer etc. Very comfortable stay and they have a big bath tub with jacuzzi too. Location is near train station too and washing machine available beside the hotel. They also provide a 3rd bed for child and aircon can be adjust to cold or heater. For those who don’t mind it is a love hotel, suitable for family and couples .

Easily located near to the 谷町九丁目 MTR station No.3 exit but the way through the exit has a few stairs which might not be easy for eldery or those with big baggage. The room has separate bathroom and toilet, surprisingly the bathroom is very spacious! However, it was quite dusty on the bed head board which cleaning need to be strengthen. The headboard is equipped with USB charger which is quite convenient. Overall is good for short stay.

Took a quick trip with my daughter to Universal Studios Japan (USJ) and saw Hotel Awina at a great price. It was about a 40 minute trip by subway and trains to get to USJ but I paid less than a third of the price for hotels next to the property. It was also fairly close to the Dotonbori River-Walk; lots of shopping and fun sights. Staff was very helpful, and with their limited English and my very limited Japanese, we managed to work through check in and luggage storage. Hotel Awina is a five minute walk from the Uehommachi station so very easy to get to. It took us about 30 minutes to get back to the Osaka Shin when leaving. I definitely recommend this hotel.

This is the first time we stayed in Love hotel in Japan and we did not realized at first until we walked into the room and examined all the amenities. The room was spacious for its rate, very well equipped, the amenities in the bathroom were to die for, the most comprehensive amenities I've ever seen. It's walking distance from Tennoji train/Subway station, nearby several Family Marts. Very recommended to stay.

Standard fare for one of the smaller Super Hotels but slightly further away from the station and up a slight incline. Their amenity selection isn't as good as the ones around Ikebukuro (Tokyo) though. Tennoji station is pretty convenient for day trips and stuff -JR! - and I quite liked the park area near the station too. All in all, a viable option if you don't need to stay in the thick of crowded/noisy Namba.
