Find hotels in Universal City Train Station

I was surprised by the room (quadrupled) with four Super single beds and two wide windows side by side overlooking USJ. You can even watch the Hogwarts castle light show from the room. And very grateful for the hotel to reserve for us the room at the highest floor based on the price range. Furthermore, they are really responsive when I messaged them questions via Agoda. Good room and counter service too. The hotel is the nearest to USJ entrance and the newest. It is also at Universal City Walk where you can shop and eat, not forgetting 24hrs convenience store in the hotel and also at the City Walk, literally just outside the hotel. Did I mention the Universal City train station is less than 100m away? Great spacious hotel at Super Low price if I were to compared it with hotels in downtown. If I go USJ (or even travel to just Osaka), with such a neat train station and so near to Tempozan attractions too, I would definitely choose Park-Front Hotel at USJ.

This hotel is a stone throw from the Universal City train station only. Nearby lots of foods and eatery plus GAP outlet store. The staffs speak good English and very friendly helpful too. The hotel provide the best top floor onsen for both gender with vending machine that sell instant noodles, drinks and beer too. The hotel lobby also provide free flow of toiletries, shaver, cotton and combs too. It’s less than 100m to the entrance of universal studio and there is also a airport bus direct from a Universal Studio to Kansai Airport. The train is also short distance to Osaka and Namba Station too great for shopping and lots of foods. This hotel is very good for couples as well as for family. The only things they need to improve is to have more English TV channel instead of Japanese programs only.

All of us enjoyed the stay! The room is very spacious and clean. The breakfast is very nice and alots of varity of food. The staffs are all very friendly and they all can speak English which helps alot when we have any questions. Just 5 mins away from universal studios and the room face very nice sea view. The Hotel is also very near universal city train station. Just beside the train station, there is a shopping malls with many restaurants. the food there very very nice. I really live the sushi there.

This hotel is a bit far from the city centre of osaka (umeda or namba) but it was fairly easy to travel around as the hotel provided free shuttle to the nearest train station! The breakfast was great as well! The walk from the nearest train station to the hotel takes around 10-15minutes, therefore it was not that hard to walk back but with luggage we used a taxi from the subway station and it was only the base fare(680 JPY)

Our stay at La’gent was a very pleasant experience. The location is right next to a 7-11 convenience store which was great since we arrived late evening. The hotel was very easy to spot coming from the Kansai Airport Station, just after we passed Universal City Station we saw the large glowing sign on our left before making our last stop at Sakurajima Station. Universal City Station was actually slightly further away maybe about 10 mins walk, but it ended up being our main launch point for any travel we did along the rails throughout the day. Sakurajima station is even closer maybe 7 minutes away. There is no cover however so an umbrella could be helpful. The hotel itself is a nice and quiet place to sleep. The beds were more firm than expected but we easily grew accustomed to it. Many amenities including pajamas and toiletries are provided, with a little table in the lobby available to grab what you need. Staff was very welcoming and friendly. There is a breakfast buffet downstairs.

The location of the hotel is really good, just beside the Universal City train station, and 1 minute walk to USJ. The room is big and clean, high floor with nice view, especially the night view. The staff is nice, they send us the kids pyjamas and their toiletries to our room. The breakfast is located at 32floor, nice view, a lot of choices. Definitely will recommend whoever come to USJ to stay here.

Perfect location - 2 min walk to the Bentencho Train station, where the Osaka Circle was easy to access. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. They provided storage for my luggage and my friend's luggage (even though they stayed at a different location) while we explored around, because we arrived before our room was ready. There are a lot of restaurants nearby and a 7-11 downstairs. My room was perfect. The bed was comfortable, and clean. I extended my stay and the staff let me stay in the same room - which was very convenient - I didn't have to pack my things and move rooms. My reservation included breakfast and they had a great selection of food. I definitely recommend this place.

I was planning a holiday for my family in Tokyo and decided at the last minute that we would include a visit to Universal Studios in Osaka for our 4 year old daughter. So as not to deviate too much from our Tokyo itinerary, we decided to spend only one night in Osaka ie. take the early shinkansen from Tokyo to Osaka to be in time for the park opening in the morning, spend the whole day at the park, and return to Tokyo the following day. It was therefore important to find accommodation that was close to the park so as not to waste valuable time commuting from the hotel to the park and back. We were therefore very pleasantly surprised to find that Hotel Kintetsu Universal City was literally a stone's throw from the park - it took just 1-2 minutes to take a pleasant walk from the hotel doorstep to the park entrance! That wasn't only the plus point - the room was also very spacious and came with free take home Universal Studios toiletries. I will most definitely stay at this hotel on my next visit to Universal Studios, hopefully sooner rather than later!

we were here for 5 nights and we were on our honeymoon. lovely hotel, both around and in the room. service was excellent and staff go out of their way to make sure you are well taken care of. they have a shuttle service to osaka station, but you need to reserve a seat early, also it arrives every 30mins. But it is very near universal studios by jr train! I would definitely recommend this hotel for its comfort and service, but location makes me think twice about coming back here if I'm back in Osaka.

Well, I was there for a concert so this hotel is pretty near the venue, just 5 mins walk to the venue. However this hotel is oretty far away from the nearest train station but it's still walkable distance, probably around 15 to 20mins of walk, you can hitch a cab if you want because it's gonna be cheap. Anyway, this hotel is nice by itself, the surroundings outside hotel gets abit dark in the night due to lack of lamp posts around so i wouldn't suggest a single lady to stay here. Oh one last thing, the staffs don't really speak other languages except Japanese.

It's a little off the usual tourist spots but if you're headed to Universal Studios, this place is great for its proximity. The rooms are small but charming, beds are comfortable, sheets are divine and you can even do your laundry on one of the floors! We were only there for 2 nights so didn't get to explore the area nearby much but there're quite a number of convenience stores in vicinity. We also didn't get to try the vinyl players in the rooms, what a shame! Their counter staff was a really friendly guy who spoke good English and was incredibly helpful but never over lingered. We absolutely loved our stay here and we would definitely return! Love the iced latte we ordered at the hotel too!

Good size room, clean and approximately 500 mts away from Osakako Station. The hotel is near Aquarium and Universal Studio. When we arrived the first night, the air conditioner in our room was not working well but they were able to fix it the next day. The staff was not able to help us regarding the 2 day Amazing Pass even though we gave them the brochure in Japanese. So we just search in the internet and ask help from Information Centers in train stations.

Checking in was funny like other reviewers said, but we did it without problem despite disconnected from operator half way and everyone had a good laugh haha. Smack right beside Dekijima Station which means getting around is easy! From the Dekijima to Nishikujō Station which you do most of the transfers to Universal-City station, Osaka loop lines etc. We went to Hiroshima, Kobe and even Tottori from here without problem! Surrounding was full of markets. convenience stores and eaters, lovely neighbourhood which was super quite at night. However, if you're light sleeper you may need to take note that you can hear the train passing by, for us it's ok. We stayed at 4th floor and the bed was fantastic! Highly recommended, if you don't mind extra 20mins so travel time, compared to staying in busy Namba area
