The Park Front Hotel is in my opinion, one of the best hotel's one can stay in when visiting Universal Studios Japan. Location wise, It's literally a stone throw away from the theme park. Also, for those who are hungry, the Universal Studios City walk is right outside as well. Ambiance-wise, the Hotel looked spectacular. The rooms were also very spacious compared to other Japanese hotels, so they are worth mentioning. With regards to staff, some members do struggle with speaking in English but they always make it a point to give it their best when trying to communicate with the guests. Overall, I would give the hotel and A+ rating. Very highly recommended for anyone who is planning to visit Universal Studios Japan.

I love this hotel! Was scouring the internet for hotels near USJ and came across this gem. It did not have a lot of reviews when I booked it but from the ones that were left, I was hooked. So I booked a 2-night stay for a family holiday and it did not disappoint. One, it is really near Universal City Station (by near I mean adjacent to it). Universal City Walk is a minute walk while Universal Studio Japan is at most a 5-min walk. Since it is really near Universal City Station, going anywhere in Osaka does not take too long. We went to Dotonbori on our 1st night there. Two, it is new (opened in 2017 I think). Three, the room is spacious (I booked a corner room so it might be bias). Four, the staff are really helpful and super friendly. The cherry on top is certainly the Skyspa on the top floor. (For beginners, i.e 1st time traveller to Japan, it is sort of like a hot spring in the hotel. What you do is you go up to the 14th floor, bring the hand towel provided by the hotel and wear the yukata prepared by the hotel. Bathe before you go into the hot spring and bathe again after. One crucial thing is you have to be naked at the soaking area. You can bring the small hand towel with you but do not wet it at the pool. All your belongings must be stored in the lockers provided and this should go without saying that phones and cameras are not allowed in the spa.) No downside to this hotel although if you want to be picky then the breakfast might not suit your palate as it caters mostly to the locals. My family and I love it tho. Another unique thing about the hotel is the amenities are given freely at the lobby, so a little self restraint is advised. In conclusion, this hotel has met my expectations and more. Will definitely stay here again when we come back.

being able to wake up every morning to a beautiful view of the sunrise across a harbor. what more can we ask for? the rooms were huge by japanese standards and had a separate toilet and bathroom so each friend is able to do one thing at a time and not wait for each other. the toilet cover opens by itself when someone passes by its sensor, so do not be alarmed. within such close walking distance to universal studios japan, we definitely will not miss a visit there. guests of this hotel wil receive a official guest card where you will enjoy discounts within universal studios on a specific day. although the main city is a train ride away, we are satisfied with the stay as it is away from the hustle and bustle and still be within reach via a quick train ride. getting back to the airport was a breeze. thanks to the airport limousine just around the corner. getting hangers from staff at a weird time of the day was no hassle. service with a smile. overall, highly recommended.

We loved our stay in this hotel. 5 mins walk to Bentencho JR station and 10 mins train ride to Universal Studios. There’s a family mart and a French patisserie just outside the hotel which is very convenient. The room is really nice and staff are pleasant to deal with. It smells amazing when you enter the main area. A hotel this size needs more laundry facility though. I wanted to do the washing but the machines were always in used.

Stayed at its sister hotel (La'gent Hotel Tokyo Bay) too before. We had good experience in both properties. Check in and check out were efficient and fast. Room and bathroom were clean. Staff were polite. Location was great. It was a 5 minute walk from the Sakurajima JR Train Station which was one stop away from the Universal City station. Perfect for travelers who are looking for an accommodation near Universal Studios Japan.

Hotel keihan Tower is the best hotel in universal studios japan because of its location, facilities and of course, value for money. Beside the hotel are shopping malls and restaurants. USJ and universal city station is just a few minutes walk from the hotel. We had a memorable stay in the hotel, though we didn't have enough time to try their sky spa. Nonetheless, we had good memories In Hotel Keihan.

fantastic location. JR line from kansai airport goes direct to Bentencho,costing only Yen1190 . Porta Inn can be seen from Bentencho station. S Rapid is the fastest. PortaInn is a new hotel. so it is very clean and got friendly staff. Free simple breakfast is good. Enjoyed the japanese rice with condiments and there is nice scrambled egg and sausage. Ask staff for direction to the family run Kyushu Ramen Store. It is directly opposite the Family Mart. Yen650 for a nice tasty bowl of ramen and Yen300 for the nicest gyoza I have tasted in Osaka. I would like to have a bigger mirror.

I was planning a holiday for my family in Tokyo and decided at the last minute that we would include a visit to Universal Studios in Osaka for our 4 year old daughter. So as not to deviate too much from our Tokyo itinerary, we decided to spend only one night in Osaka ie. take the early shinkansen from Tokyo to Osaka to be in time for the park opening in the morning, spend the whole day at the park, and return to Tokyo the following day. It was therefore important to find accommodation that was close to the park so as not to waste valuable time commuting from the hotel to the park and back. We were therefore very pleasantly surprised to find that Hotel Kintetsu Universal City was literally a stone's throw from the park - it took just 1-2 minutes to take a pleasant walk from the hotel doorstep to the park entrance! That wasn't only the plus point - the room was also very spacious and came with free take home Universal Studios toiletries. I will most definitely stay at this hotel on my next visit to Universal Studios, hopefully sooner rather than later!

It's a little off the usual tourist spots but if you're headed to Universal Studios, this place is great for its proximity. The rooms are small but charming, beds are comfortable, sheets are divine and you can even do your laundry on one of the floors! We were only there for 2 nights so didn't get to explore the area nearby much but there're quite a number of convenience stores in vicinity. We also didn't get to try the vinyl players in the rooms, what a shame! Their counter staff was a really friendly guy who spoke good English and was incredibly helpful but never over lingered. We absolutely loved our stay here and we would definitely return! Love the iced latte we ordered at the hotel too!

Checking in was funny like other reviewers said, but we did it without problem despite disconnected from operator half way and everyone had a good laugh haha. Smack right beside Dekijima Station which means getting around is easy! From the Dekijima to Nishikujō Station which you do most of the transfers to Universal-City station, Osaka loop lines etc. We went to Hiroshima, Kobe and even Tottori from here without problem! Surrounding was full of markets. convenience stores and eaters, lovely neighbourhood which was super quite at night. However, if you're light sleeper you may need to take note that you can hear the train passing by, for us it's ok. We stayed at 4th floor and the bed was fantastic! Highly recommended, if you don't mind extra 20mins so travel time, compared to staying in busy Namba area
