"Hotel looks new and everything is in very good shape. Got a huge suite with an ocean view on the 5th floor of the main building. Room was very clean...it has a mini fridge, beds were comfortable, nice toiletries. Staff were all nice especially the guys at the beach who handed out the towels and got the chairs and umbrellas for you... genuinely friendly guys. Heated pool was great and best of all the hotel is steps away from the gorgeous beach. Plunge is also a short walk to the main area with a lot of restaurant options and is also across the street from a grocery store and CVS. We enjoyed the bikes available to use. Uber ride from FLL airport is about 30 mins (approx 25dollars USD). We didn't really like the food at the backflip restaurant...no coffeemaker in the rooms which doesn't really bother us. There was an amazing Italian coffee/dessert place in town which was fabulous! We loved this hotel!"

"We made our reservation at Beach Aqualina Apartments looking for something that was quiet, clean, minimalistic, and in a pleasant beach neighborhood. This small hotel met or exceeded all of our expectations. Highlights included a tidy swimming pool in the courtyard, items such as towels and beach chairs available for the beach, and a manager who was very friendly and accommodating. It was within easy walking distance of the beach and pleasant beachside community of Fort Lauderdale By The Sea. The hotel didn’t offer breakfast, but we loved walking to several nearby restaurants with full menus and ice-cold lemonades. It was the perfect choice for our stay. "
