Nothing bad to say! I got a very competitive last-minute rate, even my stay included one weekend night (Friday). Hotel clearly exceeded my expectations. Hotel is facing the sea, and even my "City view" room had a very nice partial seaview. rooms are what you would expect from a 3-star hotel, are very clean and everything worked properly. Tiled floors, which I prefer over a musty carpet. Front desk ladies spoke enough English to discuss all matters. I believe that this is the best midrange-option one can have in Vung Tau for such a low rate. Highly recommended

Wind was way above our expectations. The first impression as you enter the hotel is very nice. We were greeted by the manager, Thong, and made to feel very welcome. She took care of getting our evening meal delivered and the breakfast ordered for the next morning. The room and grounds are absolutely top-notch. The photos in Agoda don't do it justice. Our room had a huge LED tv in the living room and a nice one in the bedroom also. Also a water dispenser with H/C water is in the room, so no need for bottled water. We really felt everything was well thought out for a great guest experience. The pool is sparkling clean and as you go there, you will see the gym, sauna and steam room. All are first-rate. Every day we stayed was great, the room was made up perfect every day. Absolutely no complaint. On our last day, we met the Canadian owner, who is a really nice guy. Most of the staff speaks English and are helpful with trip suggestions. The only thing that was unexpected was when we were dropped off by our limo service. The climb up road to the hotel stairs is pretty steep, and the stairs are about as challenging. If you have any problems with that, you should call the front desk and have them send down their hotel taxi for you. We chose to make the climb and it does get easier as you get used to it. A taxi can drive directly to the hotel if you ask them to do so. Otherwise they let you off at the street side. We live in Saigon, and when we return to Vung Tau we will definitely stay at Wind Boutique Resort. It was above our expectations.

My wife and I stayed here for a week, the room was clean and tidy, the staff were so friendly and helpful and always wanted to help you to make your holiday just perfect, the hotel also has a free shuttle bus service to take you around in Vung Tau, the driver we had was really nice and nothing was ever to hard to do, the cleaning staff were so friendly and the young ladies on the front desk were polite and always ready to help I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Vung Tau

Pleasantly surprised by the laid back, spacious and relaxing atmosphere of Vung Tau and the P&T Hotel, specially after busy Ho Chi Minh city, great retreat for a break and only a pleasant 1H30mn ferry trip from HCM, but, as often in Asia,there was a massive negative point to this hotel, there is a Disco Club on the ground floor attached to the Hotel and the music blasting out of it till 2am evry night virtually reverbates throughout all the floors including the top floors, the management/staff don't seem to bother about it, definitely not for light sleepers and on my next visit I will choose another Hotel away from this one for that reason only, shame, evrything else ticks

I have a lot of not good experience with hotels in Vung Tau as they were quite old and the facilities was not good. But this new one is extremely out of my expectation. I booked a room with 2 double beds, with balcony. The hotel is very near the coast, I can walk across the street just 100 meters to reach the beach and enjoy swimming in the sea. The room is very clean and well decorated. The main tone is white and furniture in pin goods color make it quite comfortable. The minus point : room square is not big

Well, that was nice decision to stay at this hotel in Vung Tau. We've been there in the end of november - clima was nice: sunny days and something like 30-35 Celsius every day. The hotel itself is situated in couple of minutes from the city beach which was very nice. On other hand that beach isn't that good for taking rest - a bit of garbage everywhere. We've found a solution - to the right there is a tile of the beach surrounded with small asset of rocks. Clean and pariculary desert. It's available in the morning. Staff in the hotel is very nice. They always smiling and trying to do their best for you. The only one con is their language skills. Sometimes it was a bit hard to have a convesation with them. On other hand - Asia is all about that. Some ants in the rooms if you leave something sweet for a night. We bought fruits on the nearby market and hotel housekeeper slice it for us, which was very pleasant. So nice choice for that price.

Our "Sandard" room was elegant and well furnished, spotlessly clean, with one comfortable king size beds (crisply ironed Frette sheets!). The hotel is very traditional and in the Roman style, with rather stiff but very cordial service .The bathroom was fine , very clean, with great hot water and pressure. It wasn't luxurious We walked everywhere from this central location and were surrounded on all sides by great vistas and attractions. Frankly I was quite surprised by some of the negative reviews speaking badly of the service, decor, furnishings, noise, a/c, etc.....and can only attribute this to people used to the "chain" hotels without soul or character. If you want Roman charm and character,in Vung Tau ,here's the best place for you Petrosetco Hotel

We booked almost last minute for a two night stay over the busy holiday weekend prior to April 30/May 1 and paid top rates. We were satisfied although this rate would be too high for normal stay. From the staff comments, off season rates would be about a third of the two million plus dong per night that we paid. However, for family room with three adults and three children it still represented fair value. The staff prepared a superb seafood lunch for us in the restaurant. It was excellent. We are a Vietnamese family, with one Westerner Permanent Resident (me). We drove to Vung Tau from Saigon/HCMC.

We spent a weekend here and it was worth the money. The room was clean and well equipped. The staff very friendly. Nice rooftop garden. I went up there in the morning to do a yoga flow. It was amazing! I just wish that they stock a mat for travelling yogi. The hotel is just a stone's throw from Banh khot Goc Vu Sua, a specialty in Vung Tau. At the time we stayed there, there was an opening ceremony for Co Ba Vung Tau Hotel and Restaurant next door. I hope competition will result in better price and service. Overall, I will definitely choose this hotel to stay next time and recommend this hotel for those who want to make short visit to Vung Tau over the weekend.

This must be one of the best 2 star hotels in Vung Tau - maybe the best. The hotel is located in a quiet area which is perfect for nice rest. It is 1.5 km far from the beach, so a good walk in the morning to the beach is excellent. In addition, walking 1 km and you will reach Goc Vu Sua "banh khot" restaurant - one of the best for local food in Vung Tau, and a bar. The room is spacious and has everything you need. In other words, I thought that it was a 4 star room in a 2 star room. You can rent a motorbike at the hotel too. The receptionist is very friendly, helpful and always smile. I will definitely stay here again for next trips.

Pros: 1. Unique place, in all Vung Tau, the only place where you can literally stay above the ocean 2. Fishing right from the balcony while just laid back and enjoy the chill wind 3. Drink is so delicious with reasonaby price 4. Staff is friendly and very helpful when you ask for places around the city 5. Can buy seefood outside and enjoy them on the balcony ( just try not to get the room dirty ) Cons: Because of the coffee shop below so it is a little bit noisy at 7-9pm

The My Le hotel is ideally situated along the main tourist beach, Bai Sau, or 'back beach'. It is not too close to the middle with the throngs of Vietnamese tourists, it is closer to the head of Vung Tau that winds round on the long road past the Jesus statue on the way to the ferry station. This is not a luxury hotel, but the location is its best selling point. Don't be fooled by the pics of the swimming pool, it is very small (you can hold your breath and swim one length to the other), but it is actually lovely at 6-7 pm after swimming in all the salty water while the sun goes down (a little brisk though). It does the job. The breakfast was simple, but acceptable. I opted for noodle soup and fruit mostly but there were a couple of other things and an egg station. The coffee, which so often is disgusting at hotel breakfasts, was wonderfully strong. I had at least 3 cups each morning (yes, sorry, that was me who made you keep having to fill up the jug). The room was clean and the bed very very comfortable. The staff at reception were lovely and smiley, the security guards were also very polite and sweet. The manager was a bit of a jobs' worth though. All in all, it could do with a bit of a face-lift, the gym was not even worth mentioning, it needs some paint, and the elevators smell of wet dog. I would stay here again though. Perfect location for me.

I'd only planned to stay a couple of days but ended up staying 8 nights in total. Located down a quiet street maybe 100 metres from the beach, I had a double room with a nice big window, good tv and fridge. Spotlessly clean throughout and cleaned every day to a high standard. The price I paid was very good value for the quality of accommodation. The price went up drastically over the Tet holiday (to be expected to an extent) so I haven't rebooked here on my return to Vung Tau, but I would definitely stay here again if the price returns to a reasonable level after Tet.

I know Vung Tau very well having been to Vung Tau on many occasion and spent a lot of my free time in the city over the years. I have relatives living in Vung Tau and visited them very often. On this occasion I selected Sakura Hotel in Vung Tau thinking that they must be somehow related to the Japanese Sakura Hotels and be a quiet place which I need on this trip away from the beach scene. Little I know that it is a small boutique family run hotel. It was the warm welcome of the lady owner Hoa and her whole family, which set the tone for a very pleasant stay. We talk for a while after our arrival. Since the rain was pouring, my partner did not want to go out for lunch. I ended up driving the motorbike offered by the owner to the market and bought some food. The owner also offered me to join for lunch but I told her perhaps the dinner would be better as I can go and buy fresh seafood from the local market to cook myself. We bought some scallop and the owner bought two large head of salmon for me to grill. Dinner was so good with all the dishes we could enjoy together with a lot of cold beers offered by the owners. Next day we bough octopus and some small fishes and we eat with the family both lunch and dinner with lot of cool beers. I ended up going to bed around 12 midnight and had to wake up at 3:30 AM to be picked up at 4 AM by the Phuong Nam Bus direct to Tan Son Nhat Airport. The trip was too short, but I have now found very good friends in the family and would want to recommend to anyone travel with their family and friends to stay at Sakura Hotel in Vung Tau, especially if you do enjoy cooking seafood and avoid the bad restaurants, who try to rip off the visitors to Vung Tau.

Was very impressed by this hotel for the money, felt like we were the only guests but in a good way. Pool is very relaxing and good views of the city, only thing is only about waist deep (i'm 6 ft) so not a great one for swimming as such, but good for relaxing in. Hotel is fairly new and everything in the room was pristine. Hotel staff were friendly and the Co Ba Vung Tau restaurant is just over the road, although there were a ton of flies and bees in the restaurant! Some other reviews say it's far from the beach but i don't agree, a taxi to the front beach will cost u about , which is nothing.

I live in Vietnam and visit Vung Tau frequently. This time I tried the La Vie en Rose. The rooms are nicely done. Comfortable bed and big TV. The photo in Agoda for the Deluxe room are false/misleading though as that room type is much smaller and simpler. There are lots of staff but hardly anybody who speaks basic English or shows any interest in proper customer service. No daily room cleaning. No change of towels after the first night. On the second night I woke up to find hundreds of tiny little ants in the bed and all over me. While I know that it is difficult in tropical countries to keep insects out of the house I do expect from a place in this price range that such extremely unpleasant incident would never happen. I will certainly not be back again.

Hotel is just by the ocean and nice beach so fantastic location. Room was clean, like in the photo, fridge, wardrobe, warm shower, Cable TV with English movies, comfortable mattress. Closeby 10 minutes walk a street with lots of food places. 100k for scooter for day. Just the staff could smile a bit more, no English at all.. and only one lady spoke a little English and when we wanted to get to the next destination: Bong Trang she told us that there was no bus, just taxi. Taxi was 800,000 and we went to the bus station and we found a bus by 35,000. So they do not give correct information.. but all rest was good! :)

Although the hotel is located close to the sea, it is a taxi ride from a decent beach (be very careful of taxi drivers in Vung Tau, many of the meters seem to be defective and not in the customers favour.) The owner or the manager was very helpful; pointing out many places of interest etc. Our only complaint and it is minor, is the size of the bathroom, ours was very small.

had a fast check in. allowed bike parking below. room was comfortable and clean. shower had good pressure. hotel is next to a mini hawker, selling cheap food. a few minutes walk to the beach. night clubs are a short bike ride away. apparently local vietnamese are able to get the hotel at cheaper rate than listed here. i would like to apologise to the cleaners for making the room floor dirty with sand. tried my best to clean as much :).
