We stayed in this hotel overnight having arrived late from Tel Aviv. My partner had taken ill whilst away and had to use a wheelchair which was provided by the airport. The special assistance therefore was not requested by us from the hotel in advance. We had booked a standard double. On arrival we were whisked through the check in and given a free upgrade to a junior suite. We were allowed to take the wheelchair into the suit. The manager himself helped us with the luggage. The suite was impeccable, overlooking the runway but totally quiet. Everything was in a pristine condition, clearly recently upgraded, a very comfortable bed with high quality bed linen. The service was beyond all expectations - staff was very helpful and above all kind. Breakfast was excellent. Whilst away we stayed in 5 star hotels. None of them came anywhere near this 4 star Radisson blu at Manchester airport.

Our stay was great in are hotel, the beds were comfortable, the TV had lots of channels, the rooms were a great size. Loved that there was a couch in the room! Food and room service was brilliant. all staff were amazing and very helpful especially because are visa was taken by a taxi man and your shuttle bus driver rang the police and brought us to the taxi firm to get it, I thought that was very helpful. The only problem I had was with one of your own taxi drivers when he collected us from the Trafford centre, I booked a taxi for 21:45 and your taxi man was early, when I got to the taxi at 21:43 he was ranting and raving about me not answering my phone and I was suppose to be there for 21:45, which I was there at that time even before. And then to top it off we got to the hotel barriers and he asked us could we get out there so he didn't have to go and get a ticket to come back out, which my boyfriend then replied that's bad service, he then quickly took back what he said and said we don't do bad service so I'll drop you to the door! (If my boyfriend hadn't of said it we would of been out in the freezing cold an as you know it was very windy) All in all we had a great stay and everything was perfect. We would definitely stay again and recommend the hotel to friends and family!

I like this hotel as it's good value and not far from the airport. The staff are lovely and the hotel is clean, if rather dated. The rooms are so quiet too. You don't hear any noise from the other rooms and the beds are comfy. There is always plenty of hot water and you have everything you need in the room. The only slight negative was the breakfast. There was a shortage of crockery and a lot of the glasses were broken. I think a lot of the food had gone by the time we got there. £7 each seemed like quite a lot for a slice of toast, a bowl of cornflakes and a cup of coffee. Maybe best to get down to breakfast a bit earlier next time :-)

Transfers both ways for both recent stays were excellent friendly staff, on time and clean cars. Hotel check in and out very good and once again friendly and welcoming. Lovely warm spacious rooms, very clean with modern bathroom and very hot water (most welcome after two weeks in India). Breakfast on both stays the best we have had anywhere. Give the hotel 5 stars but the hotel staff and transfer driver deserve a 10.

We arrived back in the UK at about 1am. A short taxi trip out to the hotel and we were greeted by a very pleasant receptionist. We were booked in within minutes and in our room shortly after. My wife had to call back to the desk to get some fresh milk for our coffee and that was provided straight away. Our room was extremely comfortable with a large four poster bed and a delightfully decorated en suite. A little bit of tlc is required, reading light not working and curtains off rails but otherwise the room was superb. This was our first visit here but would definitely return. The staff were so friendly and the breakfast really good for all tastes. That together with the complimentary transfer service back to the airport made this a really pleasant experience.

Me and my partner stayed here before our flight at manchester airport, we arrived around midnight as a last minute decision. The location was good, we ordered a uber for the morning of the flight and it costs us around £10 to the airport. The rooms were very spacious and the beds were comfy. Only downfall was we had booked a double bed and received two singles, however it was early hours in the morning and we wasn't too bothered about this, we just wanted to get our heads down before the flight. The man on reception was very good and quick with his jobs. Would recommend.

I was looking for a cheap room in a hotel close to Trafford shopping centre. This hotel is only 20min drive to the shopping centre. The hotel staff were excellent. I requested for a quiet room and that was exactly what I got. The rooms were very clean and I really liked the bathroom and its cleanliness. The hotel does not have free parking but there were residential areas close by with free parking spaces. Thank you for making my stay comfortable.

Very pleasantly surprised at how quiet the hotel was despite proximity to airport. The premises are obviously dated and the layout is unusual with many different levels and corridors. The energy saving practice of having all corridor lighting activated by movement sensors is initially disconcerting as guests enter virtually dark areas. This generated thoughts of safety concerns but fortunately all turned out OK. The room we were initially allocated was incredibly hot and when this was raised with reception there was no hesitation in moving us. Special thanks to Emma for her Herculean effort with our bags! Despite these initial hiccups, our 2 day stay was very comfortable. All staff were attentive and helpful. Thank you.

The convenience of both the airport and the railway station connection to the city was made even easier by the use of the courtesy bus provided by the hotel. The friendly staff were able to advise us of the best information that suited our needs and therefore we were able to take advantage of their knowledge when we spent a day in Manchester City. We were able to have several meals in the hotel and were extremely impressed by the service provided and, in fact, we specifically returned for a meal in order to bid farewell to one of the staff members prior to our departure. If we were to fly into Manchester again we would certainly make use of the Crowne Plaza.

It's OK, but not so good. First, the room is no free wifi, you have to pay for a very high price. Other choice is to join the Marriott membership. The location is not very good, a bit far from the airport, you have to take a bus or a taxi to get there from the airport. And it's not so clear to see the front door of the hotel if you walk there. We have an early flight, so we booked a taxi. We get to the lobby 5 mins before the taxi arrival time. And we waited for 20 mins with no taxi for us. First the staff called the taxi center and told us the taxi has traffic and was on its way. Then they called again and found out that someone else got on our taxi! And they have to call another taxi for us, and it's already 30 mins late. It's a very poor dispatching and conducting service for the taxi company. Although the hotel staff is very friendly, it's not helping. Eventually, we arrived at the airport 50 mins late and we have to rush to the gate. We get there just before the gate was close. After all, it's a good hotel to stay, but if you have an flight to catch, you better be careful with the taxi service.

Our flight got cancelled from Heathrow to Manchester so we we didn't actually stay at this hotel. However we had an early flight the next day so arrived at the Holiday inn at 9.30 am as I had arranged a pick up based on our stay here. I explained the situation to the reception and they were very helpful allowing storage of our bags and offered us free breakfast. Top notch service and will book this hotel in the future.

An absolute hidden gem, Set in a tranquil location just 10 minutes from Manchester Airport and 15 minutes from Central Manchester. Public Transport links are on your doorstep and there is ample free parking. The rooms are new, modern and fresh, with extremely comfortable beds, and there is also a Fridge and Microwave. The full English traditional breakfast is a must, and is served by two lovely ladies who's attention to detail is exemplary. Would strongly recommend the hotel as it represents excellent value for money!
