We stayed here for 3 nights around Easter time, and were really pleased with the hotel. The hotel design is very over the top, but, its a bit like Vegas, tacky but done well. The rooms are comfortable, luxurious and clean, but not the best we have seen for a 5 star resort. The hotel is huge and the gardens are beautiful. The swimming pool (over 30 degrees) and 3 Jacuzzis (almost 40 degrees) were amazing, was so nice to swim up until midnight in the lit pool when the weather was so cold and rainy outside. The sauna by the pool was fantastic too, and they lend you fluffy bathrobes to dash between the changing rooms and pool area, everything was very well thought out. We spent most days out exploring Jeju island, then evenings relaxing in the hotel and in the pool. The food in the Korean restaurant was lovely, we went for the tasting menu and there was so much food, all cooked to perfection, lovely local ingredients and flavours, really enjoyable. Great having the bakery in the lobby, nice to be able to take snacks for a day trip. The staff were friendly and helpful and all trained very well. But we had one negative experience. We asked the hotel to book us an English driver for the day, and the driver was appalling. He drove erratically, had no seat belts in the car,y and his English was so poor that we felt ripped off paying more for an 'English' guide! He asked us to pay for his lunch (even though it was supposed to be included in the day rate). Then drove slowly and swerved all over the place, meaning we had to pay an extra hour to cover the sights that we had planned. We were surprised that the hotel recommended this driver. At the end of the day, we mentioned to the hotel, and they dismissed it so we went to talk to concierge who apologised. We were not after an apology, but really wanted them to remove this driver from their list so that other guests do not have the same negative experience.

Hotel was so clean throughout the rooms and facility, it was a pleasant stay! Their customer service was also awesome, greeted by staff from parking lot, and assisted with luggage all the way to your room. Staffs were so polite and kind. Made reservation from 2 different company and there were miscommunications with doubke booking, when I inquired, hotel staffs were very courteous and prompt with responding and assisting with issue occured. Their follow up service was amazing !! They were even avle to trace back call history and assist. I would rate this hotel 5/5 for their professionalism in serving customer with their clean facility and excellent customer service!!

It's pricey but you get what you pay for--almost. We booked a mountain view room only to be put into a Lotte and hotel wall view 1st floor room. Sheets had some stains and holes in them, which was a disappointing. Upon calling staff the situation was quickly rectified and we were happily upgraded to an ocean view room. It wasn't a great start with a lack of attention to details for a 5-star, but overall the hotel grounds are gorgeous and the staff at Shilla provided excellent & sincere customer service. However the food (12000 won for an americano) is quite ridiculous. It's a high end place, but there are certain basic things you shouldn't gouge people on. There were no affordable food options on premise, so you do have to go to off resort restaurants by taxi (10 min) if you don't want to spend 50000 won per person per meal. Overall, we had a great experience, but just go with a lot of money...

Two for Two. Checked in to Bayhill the two times I've travelled to Jeju and have absolutely no regrets doing so. Thoroughly enjoyed my first stay back in 2017 and needed no persuasion to check in again this time. Just as I remembered, the check-in process was amazing - done over a cup of tea and cookies. Breakfast at Narnia was absolutely delicious and the best part about Bayhill is that it is far away from the hustle and bustle of noisy tour groups and is ideal for some Rest & Relax. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful - managed to secure us some last minute tickets to The Nanta show too.

Three of us stayed in the twin room and it was spacious and comfortable. The sea view was great and relaxing. The buffet, coffee shop and bornga(bbq restaurant attached to hotel) was delicious and value for money! Especially the bibimbap and bbq at bornga is a must eat! Staff are fluent in English and very helpful. It's close to bus stop or you can ask the reception to order a taxi for you.

Stayed at the Teddy valley resort for 1 nights. The resort however, is approx 10 mins outside of Jungmun centre. However, if you want to retreat from the world, you will love it here. Check in was quick and the lobby area is full of lovely teddy bears. The room was simple (I liked that), but large and with all amenities required. Bathroom was large with a big shower area, balcony was a good size, with great views of the forest. Wifi worked well. AC worked well. The bed was big and comfy. The restaurant had beautiful nice surroundings, where the Sanbanng mountain was overlooked. The fresh sea urchin Bibimbap, we ate for dinner in the clubhouse, was also good. It was the most enjoyable dinner of my life. The gym was decent, and my partner had a swim which she enjoyed. Staff were attentive and service was good, although the hotel does make a considerable mark up on taxi's booked through themself or airport transfers. Overall, a wonderful stay in a truly special hotel, which if a little closer to Jungmun centre would be near perfect. A really great hotel.

It was my first trip to Jeju Island. I would definitely recommend Benikia hotel Jungmun to anyone who is visiting Jeju Island, especially Jungmun area. It's a clean and cosy hotel with friendly and kind staffs who would help you with everything you need. The receptionist spoke in English. He helped me to find my lost iPhone. Only 3 min from the bus station where also you can get on Airport limousine. Close to everything Cheonjiyeon waterfall, museums and other attractions including teddy bear museum, trick eye museum, play kpop, a chocolate museum and so on. Actually, it was just a 15min walk from everything. Also, it's close to Daepo Jusangjeolli Cliff and a beach.

Our stay at the Suite Hotel was just right. We expected a place to relax, reasonably priced and somewhere we could see the local sights, we got that. After reading previous reviews, I knew we could catch a limousine to the hotel, so we looked for the 600 bus and it only costs 3900 won one way, cheap and it took us right to the front of the hotel. We arrived later in the afternoon and the hotel gave us an upgrade to a pool view which was great. I don't speak korean but my wife does so we received a service with a smile. The staff offered very little communication in english but I did make attempts in speaking korean to converse. The pool is great to relax by, unfortunately it doesn't offer alot of sun chairs. 10 I counted plus 4 around the kid's pool. If you wanted to see the sight of the island, a hire car would be a great idea. Apparently cheap if you book online. Otherwise, we picked up a brochure from the information desk and booked a tour. The tour bus picks you up from the hotel and drops you off in Jeju downtown and offer a limousine ticket on the 600 bus back to the hotel. You Catch the limousine bus in front of "The Hotel" bus stop. Look for a big sign Vegas Casino and the stop is in front of it. Fortunately my wife is korean. (The tour guide can point you in the right direction) The hotel is also in the area as Shilla Hotel, Lotte Hotel and Hyatt Hotel, nice to be able to wonder through each of the. The best thing is that there is a mini mart right outside the hotel. It is close by to the Teddy Bear Museum, Ripley's Believe it Or Not and Chocolate Land. We didn't go to the museum but Ripley's is great fun. It has english translations. Unfortunately Chocolate Land is deceiving, it does not have any english translations but offer chocolate making classes. The Suite Hotel is also a 15 min walk from the beach. Just head towards the Hyatt Hotel and you can see it. You can hire surf boards or just swim. Overall a great location and plenty to do an see.

Clean and neat place for family. Superior room has a double and a single bed, can easily fit 3 people in a room. This hotel has a warm water indoor pool which is free for those who stay in the hotel. Also surrounded by forest, you can go for a walk. Not in the central area of Joongmoon, a car is required to dine out or to visit the beach. Its restaurants are okay but slightly overpriced for the taste and quality.

Staff are English friendly and if not they will do their best to communicate with you which made things easier for us. Hotel is close to several restaurants ( and attractions in the Jungmun area (waterfalls, pacific land, Museums), if driving, so a car is recommended when staying in this area. There is only about 4-5 restaurants near the hotel in terms of walking distance. Overall great stay, hotel photos are nicer than actual rooms but the rooms are fine either way.

I booked Booyoung hotel on line on Agoda.com at around 6 pm, took a flight, arrived at the hotel after 10 pm. When I was checking in, I showed the front desk the Agoda confirmation email with a full payment, but they would not honor it. They told me to run my credit card otherwise, I will not be able to check into the hotel room. The following day, when I was checking out, they asked me to sign the room charge. I had no choice but to sign, otherwise, they are considering me trying to stay over night for free. I signed, and now I see the Booyoung hotel charge showing up on my Credit card statement in addition to Agoda.com charge. I informed Agoda.com customer service, and I hope to get a refund. Otherwise, the hotel is nice, the staff members courteous, the location is good, and it is a nice hotel (for those people who do not have a billing problem).

Good scenery! I could see the green tea plantation from my room. Very quiet and relaxing. Big room!!! I booked Deluxe Twin room for 3 people, and it was much bigger than expected. Too big for 3-4 people!! I don't understand why, but there are two shower booths as well ;D The room was very clean and I loved that the floor wasn't carpet. Everyone loved it. happy to have stayed here!

We stayed at Soul Mini Hotel for 3 nights. We were able to find the hotel quite easily using the GPS in our rental car. The hotel is situated in a quiet neighborhood. There''s an ecopark right in front of it and it leads to the seaside. It was pleasant walking in the park but there's really nothing much to do at the beach. As for our room, it is spacious and clean. One thing to note, there are many mosquitoes at night so do bring some insect repellent if you are prone to insect bites like me. Breakfast consisted of toast, cereals, egg with juice and coffee/tea. Simple but more than enough for me. Best thing about this hotel is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. They are ever willing to help us and they always have a smile on their faces. Thanks to them, we had a most enjoyable stay in Jeju.
