Great hotel and amazing staff”
Fantastic hotel within walking distance of numerous facilities within the city centre. Basic rooms are great however I upgraded after a week(thanks to Amy) for a small amount and the room I received was amazing. Staff are so friendly and would do anything for you. There is a pool and small gym on the top floor which is great. The buffet breakfast is fantastic and the Tasty restaurant is well worth a visit 5 or 6 course meals for less than 1000 TWD. If returning to Hsinchu I would definitely come back to this hotel.

Nice family trip stopover”
The service, location, and facilities are excellent. If you don't have any budget concern, I would recommend to book the Superior Level rooms because it did feel a little bit stuffy at the Classic Level rooms. I booked 3 Classic rooms and one of them is very dark and stuffy due to lack of windows and sunlight.

Just Renovated and great location”
The hotel was just renovated with decent appliances and gorgeous finishing. The staff was nice and the breakfast was ok. The location is great in that you can walk to popular sites within 10 mins.

No heating provided in Winter”
The hotel is satisfactory in its hardware facilities but poor in its management. The hotel has a heating facility but it cannot be used as the management does not want to turn on the central heating during the period of stay (Jan 7 - 10), which is the mid-winter period. The room temperature is as low as 19 degree C during day time, as indicated on the wall temperature unit. At night, it is even lower. I have made a request to the hotel management. The reply was to provide me a portable heater. With the portable heater, the room temperature is raised to 22 degree C. Still a bit low, but live-able. I do not understand the rationale for having the heating facility in-built but not allowing the guest to use it when it is in need in winter. Disappointing. A good hotel is to provide a comfortable room for the guest. If in winter, it is to provide a warmer environment, so guests do not need to wear their jackets indoor. This is a basic common sense to manage a hotel well.
