Rooms are clean and tidy. Location is convenient and you can easily find convenient stores or restaurants opening 24 hours so you don’t have to worry about getting food in the middle of the night. Even room size is small, it is fine with us as this is normal in Tokyo. I would like to specially thank the male reception staff who can speak Chinese, sorry I forgot his name, he is extremely helpful and always greet us with a great smile. The only thing is Housekeeping didn’t clean up my room after my first night stay but the rest is good. I enjoyed my stay and definitely will stay at Apa again.

You cant go wrong with an APA hotel, when in Japan. I have stayed in several and they are very clean, compact, and usually in an ideal location. This one is situated right in the heart of Shinjuku and 10 mins walking dist from the station. Its perfect if you are wanting to stay in Tokyo central for a few nights as JR lines are near, shopping district and the ambience of shinjuku park. Great for business travel or stopping off in Tokyo for a few nights.

We very much enjoyed our stay. Right in the action at Shinjuku and close to a few subway stations. Very clean, lots of nice everyday items provided each day. Staff were helpful with the few questions/requests we had. Room for two large suitcases to slide under the bed.

very close to the kubukichuo main street, lots of good food nearby and reasonable price. however, not enough staff at the check in counter, you may have to wait for 15-20 mins or even more.

Our stay was very nice. Fast and confortable check in and check out. Room clean. Normale size for japanese standards. Breakfast is quite expensive.

One of the best hotel to stay in shinjuku”
Was looking for a average priced hotel in shinjuku and decided to book APA. There were 2 APA hotels left and right of hotel gracery. Location is walking distance from Shinjuku Station, beside the busy street. There are convenient store Lawson beside. Hotel is very clean but small. They provide all the necessary amenities you need for a decent stay. I pushed the chair and bin to the corner so I have space to open 2 big luggage.

Super convenient location, with friendly staff helped us early check in. Although the room is very small, you find what you want there. However if you could put 2 bottles of water in room will be more great.

Room was small but its tokyo.good wifi,soft bed. Close to things to do, lots of food nearby and convenience stores all over.

A nice hotel in the middle of shinjuku. Near the shops and restaurants. The room is small (seems like a norm for hotels in japan) but has enough space for luggage and to move around. They only have 1 elevator but didn't encounter long waiting time to use it.

Forgot the name of the lady staff, she was very accommodating and very flexible in our requests. My wife and children very amused with her. Some of the staff (men and other lady) very strict borrowing of scissors and weighing scale not granted. They wanted us to carry down from 10th floor all our luggages. Imagine 10 large trolley bags. Thanks for the lady staff I'm sorry I forgot her name. Very flexible and always smile. Makes things very easy for us and comfortable. Rated 1 star for the staff because she is the best staff at the hotel. Sorry to the others maybe I'm wrong coz your only following house rules. But there's nothing wrong being flexible to do things easy for your guests. Thank you sir and mam.

Room size is a standard in Japan (Small but functional). Kind and helpful staff. The pillow of this hotel is very comfortable.

Managed to book the hotel last minute. Was not having any expectation but the hotel is very new. Room size is pretty much the same in most Japan hotels, might be slightly smaller. Water bottles is only provided on 2nd night onwards so be warned. Due to ecology friendly reasons, towels will be changed every day but bed linen etc only be changed on the 4th day onwards. So if you are very conscious about cleanliness, be warned! Room will still be tidied up daily so no worries on that. BIG BIG TV available and screen mirroring to TV is available so enjoy your phone on the big screen (hint movies and stuff) Might not be suitable for small children as they feature high beds so luggage can be stowed underneath it (big plus point to keep the walkway free when u do not need the luggage at the moment) and children might not be able to reach the bed on their own. Corridors are open air so smell from the streets can reach, ask for high floor if possible.

The location is 5-8 minutes walk from metro. However, its behind the Hotel Grocery. The region is not suitable for kids. A bit noisy at midnight. Room cleansing is good. The room is small liked all other in Japan

The room is adequate; it's as small as you can get but it has all the amenities you need and it's clean. It has about 1.5 feet of space on the side of the bed and the bathroom is just big enough to turn around in it! It's fine if you are only there to sleep. Get the breakfast included in the price- tasty buffet (not as lavish as other Japanese hotels) cooked by Indians- homemade naan! I didn't know that it was located in the red light district. Since I was there with my husband and we don't drink, it wasn't an issue. Tokyo's version of a "red light district" is much tamer and safer than any US city!
