Everything went smoothly, well organised, pool and gym running in shifts, felt safe and well organised. Room is spacious and clean.

Great hotel, big spacious rooms and great gym and swim options. Food was lovely and bar with sport on. Plus Sky Sports in the room on tv and room service fast and reliable. Will stay again.

Gosforth Park Hotel ”
Lovely friendly reception staff, room was really clean and functional. Very disappointed with the bar and foyer areas Please please take the cushions off the chairs and dump them they make you feel dirty just looking at them they are so worn there is absolutely no excuse for this. The bar was overpriced and really had nothing going for it which was a pity.

This is our second visit to the hotel this year. We usually stay in Newcastle but found parking easy and free at this hotel and a bus stop outside for easy access into the city. The room was clean and had good facilities. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Gloria SW France

Food was excellent ...nice bar .....the location is right next to the race course .. location is approx 3 miles from the town and metro .....take your own shampoo soap etc as none are provided ........

A mixed bag at the Grand”
A very good price and beautiful surroundings coupled with a nice comfortable bed were the plus points. However, the smoke alarm kept flashing every minute and finally I had to sleep with my tie wrapped around my eyes in order to sleep. In the morning, when I wanted to sleep-in a little longer after a late arrival, I was wakened by a horrendous noise coming from the bathroom at about 07.15am. It went on for about 10 minutes. I don't know what it was. Never mind Room 101, avoid Room 444.

I requested quite room they put me between 2 party rooms. When I asked David to move me he kept avoiding to do so by telling me is full yes even if full in the morning they are moving out he showed me that but still said can’t even book me another room ?! He didn’t want to change it at first said cannot book for tomorrow even though showed me the list on the computer that they are leaving in the morning and just said you have to come in the morning when they leave can book why ? What’s the difference? Then after insisting I can’t sleep as the noise and music are loud he didn’t even offer to tell the guests to keep quite and it was 2am. I was tired had a long hard day how long would I wait for the party to be over and not just the music the banging and all that. Finally he moved me into room under family room which was even worse 5 family rooms above me he could of easily put me end room top floor but no, the radiator was faulty and starts noise at 6am till 8am again sleepless night that’s after going to bed at 430 fue to the previous rooms party people. No respect and attention to Costiumer s needs. What even worse the cleaner got pissed off that had to clean additionaly a room for my move and kept Bangor really loud from the forth floor for the 3 nights I stayed there. I spoke to the manager he placed me in a good room yet not top floor and the cleaner abused me again to a point where me and my partner started fighting as we could not bare 2h abuse from upstairs as you know they are few rooms so noise can keep on and on. Then cleaner knocke do door I said I am in bath tone moment yet she tried entering the room had a lock from in so she could not and called security when he asked what happened I explained and my checking out was due in 30 min so went down returned the keys never to be back to uncaring selfish unprofessional people. Good size and standard... but facilities and rooms looking old and in need of refurb. leasure club hours a bit short for later working folk who want a sauna.

Mini stay with our daughter”
Would highly recommend the hotel having stayed numerous times before. However, we have learned that booking on a Saturday night when the hotel has a big function on was a bad idea. We were given a 1st floor room directly above the function room with extremely loud singer on last night. They were great incidentally. We heard every single word of the performance. But with a 3 year old we struggled to settle her. We gave in and called reception at 11pm. Lady was very polite, offered to move us but at this point we would have to wake a finally asleep 3 year old and move all of the bags and clothes to another room or floor. Maybe if alternate rooms are available and a function is on that rooms on other floors can be issued first. All in all visit regularly, leisure club is great, staff polite and friendly, rooms clean and a great location.

great location and comfortable rooms food was excellent had an evening meal there on our stay and service was superb. only about 15 mins by bus into center with bus stop directly outside hotel. the spa facilities were clean and well maintained if not a wee bit dated would definitely go again
