I had stayed 3 nights within a week with my partner, was easy to travel to and when attended they were friendly and polite and was easy to get our selfs in our room didn't take to long bedroom was canny big with shower in room, good size TV and a sofa bed very clean always get breakfast in the mornings

The breakfast was excellent, the staff great and the room was spacious a clean, just one little niggle was the shelf above the coat hangers was full of dust which I found out after I’d put some clothes there. But that wouldn’t stop me staying there again as the stay was excellent for me.

Came here for 2 nights, the night before my friends wedding and the night of the wedding so we had somewhere to get ready and stay after. The staff were very friendly and helpful when ordering a taxi. Room had everything we needed except it was supposed to be a large bed, now I'm not that tall 5ft7 and my partner is 6ft1 but the bed was like a small double and we are used to a king so it was a bit cramped. Breakfast was ice but we were expecting more than beans, sausage, scrambled egg and bacon along with fruit and toast. Still very good value for money.

Pleasantly suprised. Room was perfect. Bed was smaller than premier inn. Breakfast was excellent,self service buffet...

Staff were helpful and friendly. We had problems with the light and they were swift to rectify. They were immediately at the door after a phone call and were patient with us even though it is us missing a switch and hence, couldn’t switch the light on. They have a good breakfast range and even a takeaway if you are in a hurry. As for the room, they have 2 pillows. A firm and a soft one, You can even request for feather pillows. We forgot a toothbrush and can get it from the reception at no charge! Worth staying here even though it’s a distance from the city.

We have been staying here for 4 nights. The location was just perfect . the staff were extremely friendly and so helpful. Everywhere was so easy to get to. the only problem we found was crossing the busy road from the bus stop. however we will definitely be back again in the summer, as so much more we want to see. we will book again at this Holiday Inn.

This was my second visit and my first choice to return based on my budget. Prices fluctuate and are room rates and include breakfast so if there are two of you it is even better value. The rooms are functional, comfortable and clean, and the breakfast has a good range of food and drinks. All the staff I encountered were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to the A1 for access and the Metro shopping centre is within walking distance

Staff are very nice and helpful. The breakfast buffet is good. The room is clean and comfortable. There are big shopping mall and supermarket nearby, it just need 10 minutes walk and need to cross a busy road without traffic light.

Overnight stay”

We were in Newcastle for a birthday shopping spree, it wasn't very far which made taxi affordable, didn't like location of the room as we were outside were they delivered laundry and emptied bottles etc, but otherwise we had a good stay.

Cosy Stay but not so convenient ”

The staff was very help to provide us with a connecting rooms which enable my family to stay together. Luckily, I rented a car, else it will very inconvenient for travelling to the main city.

Quick overnight stay”

The room was clean and well presented, but got warm at night as there was no temperature control. The shower was clogged and almost overflowed, but there was plenty of hot water. The hotel was a short pleasant walk from the Metro center, with lots of shopping, and access to buses and trains to get into Newcastle.
