Great location in Ueno, helpful staff and clean. No Issues.”
Fantastic location, in the heart of Ueno's market area. Definitely no shortage of food, shopping, sights or transport. Very quick walk to Ueno's Metro, JR and the Keisei Skyliner to Narita airport. Also close to Uneno Park, Zoo, The National Museum and Shinobazu Pond. A bit further, but walkable to Akihabara, the University or Yanaka as well. Some have complained about cleanliness, but I had a budget traditional room and it was very clean, and cleaned everyday. Did not smell like smoke either. Had private bathroom with toiletries, clean as well, no issues. Western or Japanese breakfast available and they have laundry machines you can use (and lock with a code), near the Onsen in the basement (which you can also use). Staff did not have a lot of english, but had enough, and was very helpful and friendly. Not 4 or 5 star place of course, but perfectly fine for most.

Excellent location with a good price during golden week. I made a booking for 2 rooms and required them to be close together as per family. They professionally provided me as requested even we booked in a different type. Good service mind and arrangement. Well english communicate. Good that you can check out noon 12.00 which rarely found in Japan.

Facilities are great. Near subways and JR stations. Near the Ameyayokocho Market, Ueno Park, train for airport service, walking distance. Welcoming staffs. Accommodated our luggages even after checkout time. Will definitely book again when we come back to Japan.

Middle of Ueno market, alot of eateries nearby. Hotel have a decent public bath, room equipped with bathroom. Comfortable Japanese room too.

Hotel a bit old but clean. Location is perfect, only walk distance about 200mtr from Ueno JR Station. Ameyoko market only 1 minute from hotel. There are so many restaurant and convenience store surround the hotel.

Bad ventilation due to window locked”
Hotel policy is window locked. The heater fan cannot adjust. We cannot breathe. We have to complaint hotel staff 2 times before he will unlock the window.

Should allow him to smoke outside the building Because of this era We encourage people to quit smoking. - every rooms is Smoking rooms - The bedroom is full of dust from the blanket. - There is a cigarette smell everywhere - Good Staff service at Lobby and Onsen. - Great location for Drink ,Eat ,Shopping - Have Onsen in Underground - ใครเหม็นควันบุหรี่ แพ้ฝุ่น ไม่แนะนำ

The location is good, beside Ameyoko market. Easy to find food and minimart. The room a bit old, when go out you have to return room's key to hotel front.
