Very convenient with the Metro(Nambuku Line) just below the hotel.Can reach major parts of Tokyo easily.Theres a Family mart nearby .Area very quiet but just 10minutes walk to the bustling Roppongi hills area.Staff very accomodating.

Construction Side Twin Room”

Room and toilet was much bigger than expected for hotel in Tokyo. Set up of the extra bed was a bit weird but my husband and i manage to redo the set up by ourselves so that my toddler can sleep in the middle. Overall the hotel staffs was very friendly and there isn't any communicate issue. Train station entrance was just beside the hotel. Highly recommended !

Nice space, convenient to Metro but not a good place for travellers who wants to explore the city. Breakfast is limited. Staff is polite and helpful. Has a lot restaurants around, close to Tokyo Tower. Great water pressure for shower.

First and far most I need a hotel with space since we are traveling as a family. Not much of Tokyo has much room space, bathroom space, or privacy. Especially airbnbs for the price i was looking for. Roppongi I found out after booking is a city of drinking and late night happenings. Honestly where the Hotel Villa was located I didn't feel that vibe especially because entering in and out of the hotel I never really stepped outside of Roppongi. Because we never had to exit the hotel through the streets this was a MAJOR plus. The hotel had a train station located INSIDE!!!!!!! this was amazing game changer. Especially during the winter we never had to exit the train station to get into our room. We didn't have to experience the coldness from outside going back to our hotel. The hotel was also located near 3 grocery stores within walking distance which was also incredible because I would have to do milk runs from time to time for my kid. Incredible stay :)

Quiet and Spacious”

This hotel is situated on top of Roppongi Itchome Station which is an offbeat area in comparison to Roppongi main station. The hotel is spacious and clean. We stayed at another Villa Fontaine but thought that this was better :) If you walk down about a block away towards Roppongi. You will see the Tokyo Tower on your left.

Value for money, room big and clean, good but limited choices breakfast”

Value for money, staffs very nice with smiling faces and work efficiently, rooms are so big if compare to the hotels in Shinjuku, buffet breakfast also good but with limited choices. the Namboku line just in front of the hotel entrance, no restaurants nearby, needs 10 minutes' walking to Roppongi's busy district. Surely will stay again next time !

Larger than average rooms, great location.”

All Villa Fontaine Hotels offer rooms that are slightly larger than most in this price category. This hotel is located inside the new Izumi Garden shopping & restaurant complex and right on top of the subway station. Only issue is that in an age where most guests arrive with multiple electronic devices to charge, the rooms hide a single electricity socket under the desk, which takes first-timers a long time to find.

Fabulous location and a great price ”

Room was small but perfectly adequate, I wouldn’t stay there for a romantic weekend away but as a business hotel it’s perfect. The only criticism is that the pillows were horrific, rock hard and with some form of plastic cover inside. The most uncomfortable pillows I have ever used. Take your own pillow and this hotel is perfect.

Agoda mistake or Hotel?”

Bought from Agoda confirmation stated smoking room but hotel claim all rooms are no smoking so ended up with a non-smoking room, ideal hotel for business traveler but no so good for couples as not much late night food and shopping nearby ... need to walk a little distance

Great stay”

We stayed 4 nights at the Villa Fontaine and had a great time. The staff were extremely professional and accommodating. The property is well situated and convenient for getting around the various areas of Tokyo. One highlight was the complimentary breakfast which was more of a buffet. Quite a bit of variety and selection which was a nice bonus. There is an on-site self serve laundry as well which was super handy. Great value! Highly recommend!

Good location and nice staff”

Nice hotel in the heart of Tokyo, small rooms but clean and acceptable. Be aware there is absolutely NO flexibility at all on the check in or check out times, and they will assess fees on a per hour basis on anything not defined in the original reservation. The breakfast was very mediocre, but decent value if booking a low fare. Please keep in mind the cheapest rooms will have no view, close to construction on the ground floor, and possibly next to loud facilities for housekeeping, etc. If those don't bother you, then this is good value and a good location just at a subway station.

Great value and location”

Very satisfied with this hotel as its great value and location is walking distance to Tokyo Tower and Roppongi area. Very convenient metro Roppingi-it-chome train station next to it. Rooms are decent size and comfortable. We took the train to Ueno Zoo/Park and it was only 30mins. Breakfast is basic. No egg station nor eggs to order, just basic scrambled eggs that is like mash potatoes. Other than that we had a great stay.

Hotel with great location”

We stayed in a Superior Type A room that's 20 sqm big, which is larger than what most hotels with a similar room type in Tokyo have. The bed is queen-sized, again larger than the usual double-sized beds in other hotels. The room is modern, spacious and clean, so is the bathroom. Toiletries are aplenty, and though they don't have complimentary water like hotels in other countries, that's because their tap water is clean enough to drink. If you're still hesitant about that, there's a vending machine and ice machine on each floor at the back of the elevator. The staff was a bit stiff, but accommodating nonetheless. They offer a breakfast buffet by the lobby, but don't expect much -- eggs, rice, a couple of viands, two different soups, bread, coffee, tea, and orange juice are all you're gonna get, but it was okay especially if you're not planning on lounging around after since you have more places to see and visit. If you want more food options, there's a lot of restaurants and a convenience store just downstairs at the Izumi Garden Tower. The location is great since the Roppongi Itchome station is just directly below it. There are Family Marts near the hotel, and a Market Basket grocery store. There's also a Starbucks just a few minutes walk from the hotel. I love walking around Roppongi and Roppongi Hills mall is just about 15 minutes walk away so I'd gladly stay again here during my next visit to Tokyo.

We had a very pleasant five nights at hotel villa Fontaine. It is above the metro and is a short walk to restaurants. The breakfast is basic and served in the foyer, this was the only downside for us and we went outside for breakfast. Otherwise, very nice.

We were only staying for one night but it was very pleasant. There is quite a late check in rule but it is close enough to the metro to get around until 15.00 hrs. The rooms are good and not too small. The breakfast is quite basic and served in the main foyer, but fine for us. If you want a good hotel in Roppongi this is it.
