Very convenient and quiet”

Quiet, high-quality hotel near Mita and Tamachi Station! Honestly, there are three big supermarkets that are convenient to the traffic, close to the Tokyo landmark. The hotel has no convenient access to anywhere. You can enjoy night view to take only 3 minutes to walk to the Tokyo Tower.

Overall comment”

The hotel has set in the top few floors in an office building, which i didnt noticed it when i book it. there's an openings in the building which is nice to have some natural light, however rains get in also. Therefore there's some water stain on the carpet which outside the room. The location of the hotel is very close to JR, which is only 5-8 mins walk, and for sure this is a plus. Opposite of the hotel has a supermarket and some restaurants. The supermarket is big and has quite a lot of ready to eat food to buy. The hotel room is clean, but you can see some water stain in the restroom, which i didnt expected. The room is in reasonable size, which i can open 1 big suitcase next to the bed and still able to walk around. For the breakfast, we didnt eat at the hotel at all, but one morning we noticed that, all breakfast set at the lobby, which quite open indeed.

Good location & friendly staff”

Stay here for 5 nights and the room consider big if compare to normal japan room. The hotel located near to tamachi station about 5min walk. Along the way there are many restaurant and also convenient stall. The staff are friendly and willing to help. Definitely will stay again when I m back to Tokyo

great location if you dont have any heavy luggage, just because from the train station to this hotel, you need to walk through staircases and about 200-300m to this hotel. But besides that, everything is excellent, you can easily find the convenience store and supermarket next to this place.

Perfect for a short stay”

We had just completed traveling around Japan and needed a place just for the last 2 nights before flying out. Chose this place since it was close enough to Uber to Haneda. I definitely would not choose this place for a longer stay since it was in a business area which meant it was dead since we stayed on a weekend. If you want to be away from the hustle and bustle/traffic noise this would be an ideal location. The room was small and had to be creative in utilizing the space with our 3 suitcases. I did appreciate the laundry room since I needed to do laundry after our trip but the only complaint I have is that you have to have the exact change. I had enough for the washer since it required 100 yens but the detergent costed 50 yen and what are the odds of having 50 yen on you at that moment? Another guest who came in also experienced the same problem and we both had to take the elevator all the way down to lobby from what I remember 15F just to break our 100 yen!

Nice Hotel ”

The hotel is very clean. Have a lounge for guest and have a washing machine (use coins) Staffs are very kind and they can speak good english. The room size is better than the other hotel. If you are not used in walking the hotel from Tamachi Station will be a bit far, but compared to other hotel this one is near already. There is a big grocery store just accross the road. Will probably stay here again when i get back.

Clean and bigger than usual room in Tokyo”

This hotel is conveniently located near to Tamachi JR (Yamanote Line) with just approx. 10 mins walk to the station. Room is bigger than usual Tokyo hotel and breakfast is pretty sumptuous and served in buffet style. Surroundings have quite a good selections of eateries near the JR station. Definitely will stay here again if coming back to Tokyo.

Good accessible hotel”

The rooms were comfortable but not as big as it looked on pictures. They check you in right on the dot, no concession on that - not hospitable but understandable. They are not very flexible. Breakfast area at ground floor can be crowded. Generally, a good hotel to stay in Tokyo.

The hotel wrongly charged again when checking out even thought I have already paid thru Agoda. ”

I booked this hotel on behalf of my friend and paid thru Agoda prior to check in. However, the hotel charged my friend again on the day checking out. After showing the receipt issued by Agoda , the hotel admitted their mistake and process for refund. Hotel should be improved this part to avoid unnecessary misunderstandings

Nice place to stay”

We arrived late at night from Haneda, the reception were waiting for us with 2 goodies bag for children. We told them 2 small kids will be staying. via email earlier. The typical Japanese hotel will provide 120% for their customer services, but something about this hotel that is different from others namely free buffet, not wholesome meal but the small things that matters. Also their room size is the biggest I seen, from 3 stars onwards hotel in Tokyo. Will definitely stay back if I am in town

There are also a lot of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, also a grocery store. Tokyo Tower is 15 mins by foot. Breakfast spread is limited but always filling. Right balance of Japanese and western options. Room size is okay for 3 adults. We had an awesome view of the train tracks from our room. Even Mt. Fuji was visible on a clear winter day.

Good location with many restaurants around ”

Good hotel for a short stay . Not so far from train station and restaurants . Breakfast is ok . Nothing much to expected but we stay only 1 night so very ok . We happy with it . The hotel even have a foot massage machine . Nice ;)! I tried it out ! Thanks

Great Hotel near JR Station”

Our stay was superb! the rooms were clean, bed is comfy, bathroom was spotless. i put a 3 rating for food as the set up was not the regular buffet restaurant but instead just in the lobby. but nevertheless had selections of salad, omelet, meat (sausage, burger patty), fish, 2 kinds of soup, 2 kinds of bread. the hotel was near Tamachi Station. across the hotel was a supermarket where we could buy late night dinner and snacks. staff was very helpful, booked our restaurant reservations for us.

Good to stay in this hotel , walking distance to station because we are in group of 10 with elderly people , Every morning after took breakfast in the hotel , we start working to the train station which is consider a good walk for us and is not far .we enjoying staying in this hotel

Simple good size room hotel”

Easy access to Tamachi subway and train station about 5-6 mins walk across the hotel. Opposite hotel there is a Supermarket n Lawson is slightly further away. No drinking water provided in room, please buy from Supermarket or get from vending machine in the hotel. Staff not really converse in English, no taxi service if you need any have to pay extra service fee to get. Room is good size in Japan for 1 pax, a bit tough for 2 persons. Room is consider clean. But my room door was not closed properly when I returned it was left half close. This scare me as I was a single lady traveller. Otherwise all is good for the price I paid for. Breakfast is simple with limited choices.

Lousy Breakfast Selection, Very unfriendly inhospitable receptionists. ”

The toiletries provided are of very inferior quality - they are in dispenser form. No bottled water is provided in the room which is very unusual for Japan hotel - how much would bottled water cost you Hotel Villa Fontaine? We had to walk 5 minutes to the convenience store to buy it in the middle of the night. Obviously not value for money.

Nice hotel near to JR Line”

It is conveniently situated around 5mins walk from JR line and with many eateries nearby, a supermarket across. However like most Tokyo hotel, room is very small and tend to be squeezy for two people staying in same room

Spacious room, and with a very nice bed. It was clean and overall satisfactory. However, the staff is not friendly as other hotels i stayed in tokyo, and there is no breakfast included unless pay 1000 yen. Food option is limited. Plus, the restaurant is just set up at the entrance floor, and to me it was a bit packed.

Ideal base for the city and Haneda”

We really liked staying at the Hotel Villa Fontaine. The stunning views, easy to find location and efficient staff combined with the elegant styling of the hotel made it a pleasure to spend a few days here. Just over the road are lots of restaurants and cafes serving good reasonably priced food. Breakfast (if you don’t want to pay 1000 yen in the hotel) is about 500 yen in the little cafes dotted around Tamachi station. The hotel also has a self service laundry room on the 14th floor and vending machines too. All in all a great place to stay, equidistant from Mita subway station and Tamachi for JR lines. Even better when there is a discount available through Agoda.
