Our second stay at Hundred Stay Tokyo Shinjuku, and still as impressive as ever, even for our large group of 6 (2 children, 2 adults, 2 elders). The location is wonderful, the neighbourhood feels safe, 2 JR stations within very close proximity allowed us to travel everywhere we wanted to go. The area is bustling with convenience stores, local grocery stores, cafés, dessert shops, various japanese and other ethnic restaurants, and possibly everything you could possibly need. Although our booking was made through Agoda, but as we needed to add an extra night to our booking, I first contacted the hotel to check about availability for an earlier check-in and received a swift and helpful reply from the staff, which - once followed through with Agoda Customer Service - was all resolved very quickly and efficiently. Our suite consisted of 2 bedrooms - a larger one with 4 beds, and a smaller one with 2 futons - which was spacious and more than enough for our family. The Suite also had 2 separate toilets, a lovely and relatively spacious bathroom with a bathtub and a shower, and the 2 wash basins in an adjoining room was extremely useful for our group. The Suite also had a moderately sized living area with a large dining table, and a mini kitchen area that was well equipped with all the necessary cooking and dining equipment we could have required. Also, very fortunately, the unit was equipped with a washing-drying machine that was certainly handy. Check-in and check-out was effortless and fast, the staff were all very helpful and friendly throughout our stay. The unit was well stocked with all the amenities and extremely prepared for us upon our arrival, and was continually kept clean and restocked daily, so that we never had to make additional requests for extra supplies of anything (drinking water, towels, etc). The management had also provided an instruction manual for the operation of all equipment in the unit, which was also very handy for us when we decided

This is the best serviced apartment hotel that I had stayed. You have everything here without much cost. Laundromat is free. It is so surprising to us. And they provide free DVD which my kids love it so much. They have DVD player in the room. They also provide free local and international calls using the “Handy” phone which also allows us to go online free. Only feedback on “Handy” is: the internet connection is very slow. Their staff are very helpful. My son lost his cap in the JR train. We tried to call the customer service but none can speak English. Hence, we asked for the assistance of the staff at the reception to speak to JR customer service. They assisted and JR customer service replied that they would call us back at the hotel upon checking. The staff even assisted us to make the call again when the following day we didn’t get the response from JR customer service. Unfortunately, the line was engaged. The next evening, the staff told us that JR had checked and it was not found. I was very grateful on the help extended by the staff. We also asked the staff to suggest medicine for headache and they helped to write on a piece of paper. Asking me which pharmacy to go and showed them this paper. She has written my request. The rooms are very comfortable and the beds are nice. The kitchen is very useful especially you have kids. You can make American breakfast for them or cook for them. Jusco is just next door. You may buy your ingredients there. Microwave is provided too. In short, I will rate this place 10.

One of the best Hotel in the world I have stayed in!”
First of all, I have stayed at top hotels like Venetian Macao. But really they never come close to how this hotel is! The Aoi Bunk Bed room for 6 people we booked was top notch! The industrial style of the room is very into my liking! The room was super clean! In fact the cleanest of all hotel I have been to! The room was adequate for 6 people, the facilities were very2 complete. 1. The Facility: the room was very complete with kitchen sets. The bathrooms were companied with a lot of bathing appliances. What surprises me the most is that they provide us with USB Jacks om the side of each bed! I was in panic at first that our chargers were not compatible, but the USB jacks help a lot. 2. The view Our room is located at the highest floor which provide a very good view of the city 3. Location The hotel is very near to Shin-Okubo street which has AEON mart very close to the hotel, Some 7-11s, a branch Don Quijote, a McDonald, and a lot of restaurants! Moreover it is close to both Okubo and Shin-Okubo station. 4. Value for Money Really worth it trust me (well I get it from discount) 5. Staff Very kind and cordial, they try to solve our problems. The biggest help is that they provide luggage keeping before check in and after checkout! Not all hotel in Japan provide such services!

The Hundred Stay is in a great location with very easy train access. We had flown into Haneda and it’s an easy commute using to Tokyo Monorail then an easy change to the Yamamote Line to JR16. It’s a few minute walk from the station. Having a refrigerator was great for all of us. There are many places to buy groceries including a Don Quijote which my boys loved for making breakfast or a late night snack after being out all day. One stop away at Shinjuku Station is a huge shopping mall with the most unbelievable basement food area you’ve ever seen. It’s a must visit. Everyone at the Hundred Stay was great. Check-in was quick. Room was clean and serviced daily. Contained all we needed for cooking (didn’t do to much) and had a refrigerator/freezer which were in constant use. Would not hesitate to stay here again which we hope to do again next summer.

Exceeded expectation! I was expecting a cramp room but there was enough leg room for all of us, the bed was comfortable and fit three people and we even had an extra sofa bed, the bathroom was more than spacious, everything was just perfect! Staff were gracious enough to let us borrow their vaccuum cleaner( I needed it for my vaccuum bag to fit all winter clothers). Location was superb, very near family marts and pharmacy, good ramen place nearby, Don Quixote, and train station just a few minutes walk. I would definitely consider staying here again! Check in and out was a breeze too!

Some of the room types have kitchen and even laundry to wash clothes. Rooms are enough big to relax for guests who travel long term. Location is one of our strengths. We are surrounded by many kinds of restaurants, a supermarket, convenience stores and pharmacies. Train station is also just around the corner and it takes only 2 mins walk to JR Okubo station. I recently stayed at this hotel and I was very pleased with the spaciousness, cleanliness and comfort of the room. Morning exercise is very important to me, and I was pleased to use the gym at 6 AM without any constraints. Furthermore the hotel is in a very exciting lively neighborhood with many restaurants, but not noisy, and only one block from the Okubo train station. All of this for a very low price. I highly recommend it, and will most likely stay here again the next time I'm in Tokyo.

Good size. Very clean. Fantastic staff are very helpful. They all speak English. Will keep your luggage if you arrive early. 3 minute walk to Jr station although you need to change trains for most destinations. 20 minute walk to Shinjuku. The supermarket downstairs has everything you need. Snacks, milk, cereal, fruit, ready meals. Would stay there again. 10/10. Cons. Breakfast is not great. Different to Western style. Would not do that again.

The hotel exceeded my expectations. Each room comes furnished with a complete kitchenette for cooking, excellent view and it was a comfortable and excellent stay thru out the entire trip. Would have loved to extend my stay here if not for an additional booking elsewhere while touring Japan. Will definitely come back and stay at this hotel, hands down. Best place and comfortable to relax after a long day out exploring lovely Japan.

We loved this hotel. It was perfect for a family of four. We each had our own bed which was in one room, while the sitting area with desk, kitchenette, washer/dryer was in another room. Separate toilet and shower room. Perfectly situated for the train around the corner made it easy to get around Tokyo. The breakfast option was helpful and affordable, but very basic. But took the edge off with a small bite to eat before we headed out for our day. The staff was helpful and friendly. The views from the high floor we were on were amazing! I would stay here again and would highly recommend.

This is our 2nd time to stay here. We love the location and the room! The beds are comfortable, and the amenities in the room are great! The view is also an added plus! Highly recommend this place if you want to be close to Shinjuku and want to venture out into the city. There us an excellent gyro place around the corner from the hotel.

Perfect location very near Okubo and Shin Okubo stations, great staff, breakfast, huge rooms with kitchenette, microwave, etc., separate toilet and bath.. Well stocked bathroom amenities, coffee, tea in the room.. One of the staff, Mr. Konno, was very helpful in facilitating the transfer of our luggage from this hotel in Shinjuku straight to our hotel in Osaka. In fact our 4pc luggage were waiting for us already in our room when we arrived. (I recommend this luggage service to travelers going to and from Osaka-Tokyo for hassle free transfers in trains or buses.) Good job, Hundred Stay! We will stay here again when in Shinjuku!

This is our fourth stay here and I love everything about this place. Value for money, cleanliness, shower, breakfast, staff courteous and helpful. The location is fabulous in relatively sleepy Okubo 2 min from station and 1 stop from Shinjuku. We got Nexen here from Narita with loads of bags and although a bit of a struggle definitely doable. I want to live with you forever!!! Thank you Hundred stay we will be back.

We booked the room good for 6. It was way bigger than expected and had a nice rustic ambiance. It was fully equipped. Toiletries, towels, utensils good for 6, mini kitchen, washer/dryer and more than enough power outlets for everyone. Toilet and bath were separate. Daily breakfast was also included in our booking - buffet with standard bread/egg/salad/bacon/cereal/coffee served. I wouldn’t have second thoughts recommending this hotel to anyone. Hotel is just one station away from Shinjuku (~136yen) by train. We had no problems bringing our luggage from and to Okubo station on foot. Also a few steps away is a convenience store (Aeon). Great value for money!

Great location is five minutes from one of the smaller subway stations and 10 minutes from one of the larger ones. staff was fantastic, rooms are spacious (for Japan) the facilities were great everything was modern, and I would certainly stay here again. It’s good to know that this hotel has a smaller lobby and a cafeteria style breakfast area. I’d not recommend the breakfast, it’s not really a good value. This hotel also has apartments in the lower floors and hotel rooms on the upper floors. Anyway all things considered we had a great experience and a great value for the money. Again I’d readily book here again.

I really love this hotel. The room is so big for 4 of us. All adults. The room is so clean and complete w robes, slippers, hair dryer etc. The continental breakfast was good also. If I will go back to Tokyo I will surely stay in hundred stay Tokyo shinjuku again. The front desk staffs were really kind and accommodating!

We had a grand suite for two adults and two kids ages 6 and 9. The location was very convenient to the subway. The room was very spacious with a living room, bedroom, and side room. We and the kids loved our stay. The breakfast was sufficient and the coffee machine which made espresso downstairs was a plus.

Pros: COMMUNICATION: Excellent communication from hotel prior to visit. Front desk staff is more like a concierge, helped us with many travel questions, store locations. LOCATION: Everything you could want/need is walkable, local restaurants, small grocery store, drug stores, souvenirs, train is a 6 min walk, another 10 min. ROOM: Our party was 4 adults. Our suite had 4 western beds (in a row) 2 separate toilets, bath and shower, 2 living rooms (one Japanese tatami, one Western) a small kitchen. I’m glad this hotel was our last after 10 days across Japan. We had room to spread out. CONS: We had to leave!!!! We would go back in a heartbeat!!!

Our room was facing the best view in Japan, MT FUJI! We couldn’t ask for more. Hotel is 2 minutes walking distance to a JR station which is very handy! Lots of restaurants nearby. The staff are very helpful and trustworthy too! Our room is cleaned everyday! With new sets of amenities changed daily. Highly recommended..

Clean spacious rooms, comfortable bed and pillows. Good air con and bar fridge. Close to Okubo station - 1 stop from Shinjuku station. Good food options all round this area. Quiet, double glazed wasn’t bothered by trains or road noise. Fitness centre small but has everything you need. Safe area. Would stay here again

I was travelling with my parents and small kid of 5 years. The kid and my parents both prefer North Indian home cooked food. This was the perfect place. Facilities were great with all amenities provided that you would want. It lacks a swimming pool but that is something we were not looking for. The bed was great, kitchen was good, free laundry using washing machine and dryer, kitchen utensils were great. The location was very good with a 3 minute walk to metro station which connects to entire Tokyo with Shinjuku station just 1 hop away. Overall a very comfortable stay and highly recommended. The staff at the reception could be a bit more efficient with check-in and try to serve requests like both rooms on the same floor rather than just say that this has already been pre-assigned.
