Great location !!”

The location is great, very near to a subway station and many restaurants. You can see the Sensoji temple every time you go back to the hostel. The bathrooms were very clean. There are many showers. It’s a great spot !

Excellent location, just behind the temple, convenient to visit temple in early morning or late afternoon, and easy walking to MRT to other place in Tokyo. if at 8F living room, can see beautiful view (different feeling in the morning & in the evening). Nice and friendly staffs, very helpful. Having a good stay here.

Extraordinary Visit”

It was extraordinary that we had to stay in Khaosan Tokyo Origami. I have a lot of new friends here from Japanese to Korean, Thai, Romania and Germany. I have to visit this hotel once for the next trip

Everything was perfect. The staff were impressively warm and accommodating, the facilities were clean, location is just 10 minutes away from the nearest subway station. Peaceful and heart-warming ambience. Would certainly book again when I come back to Tokyo.

Hospitable Staff and Great Accommodation”

I’d definitely recommend Khaosan Tokyo Origami to my loved ones should they ever wish to visit Japan. The rooms are very clean and secure (they provide lockers in the rooms). They also provide indoor slippers! How convenient is that. Another commendable feature of the hostel is their free breakfast! It’s just simple (bread, jam, soup, tea, coffee) but it’s surely filling. :) Their showers also have shampoo and shower gel provided. They have a hairdryer in the bathroom. :D The staff are also so kind!!! Whenever we have questions, they’re always so enthusiastic! Overall, the hostel is really nice and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who plans on going to Japan. Affordable and neat! :)

The only hostel to stay at while in Japan”

This was my first time to Japan and had a complete blast. Khaosan Tokyo Origami was a part of that experience and glad they could provide accommodations for me. The vibe and look of the place was really pleasing. Everything was very organized and easy to follow if you are unfamiliar with how a hostel works. They have washer and dryer if you need to clean clothes and a big social area on the top floor that has a kitchen and an excellent view of the neighborhood. Cannot recommend these enough if you're in the Taito area or just looking to stay in Tokyo in general. Definitely plan to book with them again next time I travel to Japan.

I love everything here. The hotel is lovely & clean. Excellent location. I have a childhood very love Japanese comic books, when in Origami came out to the streets and walk to Sensoji Temple, I really feel like I'm stepping on every page of the comic book :) The staff you support well.

Location and value for money”

Its near the tourist attraction sensoji temple karimarimon, don quixote. Sumida river and park is also nearby, all walkable. The hostel is clean, we had a 3 in a room bunk bed, the bathroom eventhough its mixed, its clean. I cannot ask for more. Thanks for the wonderful stay.

Friendly and helpful staff, clean room, free breakfast and mobile phone”

We stayed at the Khaosan Origami for 14 nights in a four person private room. There was free breakfast from 6 to 11 am and even a mobile phone which you could use for free with mobile internet. The hostel itself was a very nice place and the staff was very friendly and helpful if you had any questions. I think there is nothing more to add to other reviews on agoda. Everyone of us was very pleased with our stay at Khaosan and would definitely choose this hostel again if we visit Tokyo again some day.

Excellence stay in Tokyo”

Location is Great, near Subway station direct to or from Haneda airport. Few step from sensoji temple, nakamise street, malls, souvenir shop, convinience store, ATM, halal resto... Room is comfy, kitchen is superb !!!, toilet and bath room very clean, Laundry (never use ^^), staff are super friendly, speak good english and helpfull. They give you lots of usefull information, especially i’m very thankfull for the halal food and shops info around asakusa.. I arrive early before Check in time, but they let me to use the kitchen and the shower room.. Recommended!!!.. i’ll definitelly will stay there again on my next visit in Tokyo

Unexpected”

Everything there's perfect, I gainned such a really good experience of staying in Japan. I found lots of cool travellers and nice people. The staffs are really nice and very helpful, they willing to help you whenever or whatever you need help. Staying there it's like home, not a house. I will have to be back there for sure. Perfect budget accommodation”

This hostel is located right behind Sensoji Temple (a popular tourist attraction) and close to Asakusa Station. Lots of good food around with 100 yen shops nearby too! Even though it's located right behind Sensoji Temple, it's located on a quaint street with a 7-11 just minutes (by foot) away. The room and shared toilet was extremely clean and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Definitely a value-for-money accommodation. Will be back!

Great stay!”

I was here with my mum, the hotel was quite new, very nicely decorated, friendly and helpful staffs, loved the shower room, the room itself was comfortable for us. I was planning to stay here after Korea trip but unfortunately it was fully booked, but will definitely come back again in future!

Great location for convenient sightseeing ”

Ultra close to Asakusa station to go to Nikko through Tobu-Nikko pass. There is also a bus that stops right in front of hotel in case you have very heavy luggage. The staff speak English and they are very warm and kind. The “breakfast” is literally just white bread and jam, but there is hot water and a kitchen so you can cook instant ramen or buy food from Family Mart or 7-Eleven. The toilets are modern. This is good value for a budget traveler.

Nice area, close to public transport and amenities but 45 minutes metro ride away from the bustling areas of Shibuya, Shiniuku, Roppingi etc. Be aware that you have to make (and strip) your own bed at this hostel. No fresh air in the room, aircon only. Which means if you have someone with smelly feet staying in there, the entire room will smell.

Great location in Asakusa, direct train to Narita and Tokyo Metro”

The staff were really nice and the showers had great water pressure. Easy access late night with tons of umbrellas outside for those rainy days. Bunks provided privacy and really blocked out a lot of light for a great night's sleep.

The room very clean and comfy. Near sensoji temple just walk cross the street . Staff very freindly. Recommend who would like to stay in tokyo for travel.
