Great location”

The hotel is just across JR Ryogoku Station. Breakfast offers a variety but the selection is the same all throughout our stay. The staff are courteous and cleaned our room thoroughly everyday. The key must be deposited every time you go out of the hotel. The room is quite small which is average for most hotels in Japan but we managed to open two suitcases (1 large and 1 medium) at the same time.

About 3 minute walk to the station (JR line). There’s also Family Mart nearby (right next to the station) which sells muslim friendly onigiris. The room is compact for two people but the beds were comfortable, water pressure was good, water heater was available and staff was friendly. Check in and check out were a breeze. Highly recommended!

Great place to stay”

For one, the hotel is very strategic, near bus station and train station of both JR and Non JR (a little more walking needed). Lots of restaurants and mini markets available if you are looking for food urgently. Only 1 con : really far from big supermarkets. Staff can barely speak english but try very hard to help. Lots of foreigners come and go though. Lent us umbrella and plug adapter free of charge, but better buy your own. It doesn't cost much anyway. Definitely will stay here again when I visit Tokyo next time 😊

Value for money”

Place is just across the stadium where we watched One Championship. From Tokyo Station to the hotel and vice versa is only 13-15minutes via cab. Check in and out were a breeze. Staff were all polite and helped me unlock my luggage. Room was small but beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was ok. The only con was that there was a foul smell in the toilet.

Nice business hotel”

The hotel is located near to JR station, but it's not part of Tokyo JR Loop Line. Convenience stores, McD, restaurants are easily accessible. The opposite landmarks are Sumo Hall and Edo-Tokyo Museum. If you have Tokyo Subway Pass, the nearest subway station would be Ryogoku, it's about 12 minutes walking from the hotel.

Nice place near JR Station”

We stayed here for 1 night. The location is great if you arrived from JR Train (Just across the station). However if you use local subway it is 600 m walk. We booked for twin bed. The room looks like 1 bed and add other extra bed. Our main light in our room wasn't function, but the light from the lantern is OK.

Convenient location ”

The hotel was very easy to find as it was just outside JR Sobu Line, which is one stop away fro m the renowned otaku land - Akihabara. This hotel did not disappoint me in their unique rooms as well, they were little compartment that contained every pieces of essential furnitures. Overall, a very very enjoyable stay.

Basic hotel with access to Ryogoku subway station”

Stayed here with my wife and 4 year old son. Location wise is OK due to short walk to Ryogoku station, although I would not consider Ryogoku is one of the major stations in Tokyo. You'll need to change trains a couple of times to final tourist destinations. Asakusa and Tokyo Sky Tree tower are located about 3-4 stations away, so that was a plus. Room was clean and basic with LAN access (no wi-fi). We liked the deluxe twin room with a couch, but space was still limited. Breakfast was included in the rate that we got, so it should be quite convenient for travelers with kids. Some reviewers mentioned that they can hear train noises from the street, which is somewhat true, but it was so subtle we wasn't bothered with it.

Great Location. Helpful Staff”

Love the location. That's why we opted for the same hotel...but this time they gave us a smaller room. Good size separate beds. Only stayed for the night so it was ok and no trains after midnite so we did get our rest.

Compact room size but no telephone in toilet”

if you travel with medium size luggage or backpack gonna be very nice. because at ryogoku station, there is no elevator. i took train from narita and when connecting each station, it is very big problem when there is no elevator. fortunately, when going out from station, you will see the hotel, just cross the road! i had a nice sleep at this hotel. pillow and blanket are clean including toilet. in front of the hotel, many local people told me that there is famous restaurant but i did not have enough time to try it. i will come here next time and will try this restaurant! :)

Great location and service but lacking in English”

the hotel was clean, and had a great view of the river. the location was hard to beat, as it had super easy access to the jr lines which allowed us to get everywhere we wanted to be. only negative, no english speakers among the staff, fortunately my 1 yr of japanese language study paid off.

Excellent Hotel and Great Location”

an excellent stay with one exception. if you plan to stay here please make sure you book online through agoda. when my tenure ended on the 31st dec i tried to extend my stay but was told that if i done it through the front desk it would cost me yen which is a drastic difference from the approximately yen it costs me per night to book through agoda. that's the only downside to this. other than that, ryogoku can be a pretty quiet town but as in most of japan, it's pretty safe to walk alone at night

Great location ”

This hotel is situated right next to Ryogoku station, which made it easy for me to find. To get to Tokyo, take the JR Sobu line to Akihabara. From there, interchange to JR Keihin-Tohoku Line to get to Tokyo station. It was easy to transfer and took me roughly 15 minutes to get to Tokyo from the hotel. Some of the staff spoke English and all were very helpful even if they could hardly speak a word of English. There's a laundry area on the 3rd floor and internet access on the 1st. I wasn't bothered about the noise of the trains passing by and was able to sleep as long as I had my windows closed. I stayed in a single room alone and the size was fine for me, I was able to walk around the room even with my luggage open. Ryogoku is an interesting area, try walking down the streets around the hotel. I saw sumo wrestlers everyday during my stay at Ryogoku. There's also a few marts at the streets next to the station, which was convenient for me when i had to get some food/drink at night.

I paid for breakfast included and told 6.30-9.30am I arrive at 9.05am and breakfast was closed I had no food and went hungry. Wasn’t happy!

Convenient and Fun !!”

CHANKO NABE !! this is a Common dish which serve to SUMO Wrestle. a hearty meal with a very nice price. Ok, this area Ryogoku house the Sumo Museum i think ... (didnt go there... LoL) but aroud the Hotel Area there is a lot of Chanko Nabe restaurant !! there is Saizeriya FamRes, Karaoke, and many more, you wont go hungry at night trust me. Room is one of the Nice one i have been, i mean Nice Bed, thought i wish the pillow is abit Firmer... but no prob, you can always ask for an extra pillow with no extra cost. staff tried their best to interact with you using english, (one i finish conversation, i tell them i can speak japanese... LoL) Toilets are clean and i also hope there is more light in the room .... sometimes its just too dark ... there is a Drinks Vending Machine at floor which i forgot... (they vend Hot and Cold Drinks.) and Coin Laundry Room if you need your cloths washed. overall i really really enjoyed my stay, and will come again next year to stay here again.

Chose to stay in studio room type. Found dusty on mattress, maybe because of the air-con is not clean, I can see dust at the air-con air blowing area there. Please improve it. Still I will choose this hotel again in future.
