Wonderful stay in Asakusa ”
We got a really good deal on our two week stay in Tokyo and we are so glad we chose Red Planet for our first trip to Japan. The rooms are extremely tidy and comfortable and the staff will clean and provide fresh linen and amenities every day. All staff are quick to greet you as you come and go. We had the laundry room on our floor which was very handy for us too. The location is brilliant - very short walk to Sensoji temple, Sky Tree and either Tawaramachi or Asakusa station. Thank you for a lovely stay and we look forward to returning! :)

Great Location”
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I was very pleased with my stay, and although short this time, I hope to be back for a visit in the future. This is an excellent hotel location within walking distance to Askusa & Tawaramachi station (approx. 5 minutes ), 5 minutes walk to Nakamise-dori. The room was as depicted in the pictures, always clean and warm. I stayed two times here, therefore, would definetely recommend this hotel to everybody. It's a true sample of excellent hospitality. Thank you to the staff.

Good and located in less congested area”
Compared to staying in touristy places like Shinjuku or Shibuya, staying in Asakusa is pretty cool as it’s not so congested and still furnished with lots of convenience. Don’t need to worry about food, transportation, shopping and sight seeing. The hotel itself is good as we don’t ask for much. Just that it’s a bit small so if you have big luggage’s it may be cramped. Basically hotels in Tokyo are really good, much better than our own homes haha. Strongly recommend Red Planet if you want to stay in a more peaceful place. We don’t quite like staying in Shinjuku because it’s so packed with all kinds of people especially at night.

Excellent Budget Hotel in a Perfect Location”
Having stayed at Red Planet hotels previously, I knew exactly what to expect. Of course 3-4 days is just about the limit for a stay, as the room space is quite limited. This time I took a family room with 2 single (twin) beds and a queen sized bed. Perfect for a family of 4! Plenty of USB charging ports built into the wall outlets. I found that to be nice. The shower was quite small, but doable for a guy that’s 6’3” (185 cm) tall and 100 kg. Meals were available at the onsite restaurant. Elevators were easily available without long waits. Overall the hotel is located in a PERFECT location and the rooms are great value, plus very comfortable for 3-5 days easily. I will try to stay at this Tokyo hotel every time I’m in town (more than 60 times already). Lot’s of great restaurants and convenience stores located nearby. The only (very minor) bad part was that the shower nozzle / head wasn’t really adjustable, so took away from the overall experience.

Really great area. Close to a lot of things, shopping, restaurants and trains. Super easy access to Haneda Airport. It’s one train away. The room was so clean. They provide pajamas and slippers so it was great!

Upon arrival I was warmly welcomed by the staff. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Great Location with Reasonable Price”
This hotel is very chic with a unique style. Also, located in a good Asakusa area where Sensoji, Tokyo Skytree and Sumida River nearby. You can connect to Akihabara (Tsukuba Line) Ueno - Ginza (Metro Ginza Line) or NRT / HND Airport by Asakusa Line. Great vicinities, restaurants or shopping arcade as DonQi or ROX. I will be there if I go to Tokyo next time. ^^

Good location & value for money”
Easy access to Tokyo Metro and other train line & surrounded by many eateries & some supermarket. 5mins walk to Sensoji temple which suitable for kimono experience. Friendly staff who able to communicate in English and Chinese. Allow us to store our luggage before check-in & after check-out. There is self laundry service on 13th floor

Good value hotel in Asakusa”
Great budget hotel in Asakusa. Took the Keisei Skyliner from Narita to Ueno and then transferred to subway. Hotel is near Tawaramachi station, as well as other subway lines. Tons of places to eat and shop nearby. Will definitely book again if I get a reasonable rate.

Red planet is near Ueno station so you can take the airport Skyliner from there. Also near a mall and walking distance to sensoji and Asakusa shrine. Very accessible to different train stations. The room fits us well and the amenities are excellent!

Hotel is so near to subway, food and shopping area. If u were to take a keisei skyliner to Narita airport or vice versa , Ueno is just few stops away. Appreciate the staffs helped me to get thru my luggage agent services when i made some mistakes. Room is clean and my twin room is given the Tokyo Skytree view. If u are not fancy of Shinjuku or Shibuya area, Asakusa is definitely another great choice if u r 1st timer in Tokyo.

We were happy with the room, tidy and very convenience to the subway station. Only 50 meters from the elevator of Tawaramachi station. The hotel were located in such a great position of all kind of shopping.

Stayed at this hotel 6 years ago & due to the stunning view and the excellent location it stuck with me, I even remembered the route to get there. It is super affordable (2 nights for the price of what 1 night would cost at other places) and the beds are just the most comfy I have tried in any hotel in Tokyo. I will definitely stay there again!
