Pro: i think this is one of the best hostel that i've ever stayed. Its very clean, organized, the staff also very friendly (Hiro : he can speaks chinese) and the girl with short hair that live in saitama if im not mistake also very nice. The central lights automatically goes off every 11 pm and on at 8am. Also i saw the staff constantly clean the toilet, shower room, and sterilize the slippers. You have to use elevator to go your room, lobby and shower floor. Also you can hang the sign at your curtain to ask them clean your bed everyday. No regret, im glad that i choose sadou hostel and They deserved a high rate on Agoda.im really satisfy Around 10min walk to keisei-ueno station that direct transfer to narita Cons: its a little bit hot at night because its summer. So everytime i go to sleep i had to open till half the curtain which is ok for me.. and i hope they can set the temperature higher next time. Overall i have a lovely stay and a good sleep. I highly reccomend!! Thank you

I am so happy I stayed here. The staff is an ed & helpful. Hostel is clean, & in a great location. ”
Location - walking distance to major train stations, Ameyoko market with fresh delicious food, a supermarket, shopping areas and convenience stores Staff - spoke English fluently and always helpful Value for money - includes breakfast of bread, jam, coffee or tea. Some reviewers complained about this but I am very satisfied. Guidelines - I love they serve breakfast at 5am so I can still eat before an early trip and they have 11pm lights out policy in rooms. The only disadvantage is that although there are toilets adjoining the rooms, the showers are at the basement.

This is the best backpacker hostel i stayed! Price=Economical than other hostel i stayed in UENO area. Location=Very Convenient & Safe for ladies 1. By JR Yamanote Line - 8 mins walk to/from Okachimachi station or Ueno Station 2. BY Shinkansen - 8 mins walk to/from Ueno Station 3. By Ginza Line - 10 mins walk to/from Ueno-Hirokoji Station 4. By Narita Airport Express SkyLiner - 8 mins walk to/from Keisei-Ueno Station. Staff = Most of the staff can speak english and on 24hrs counter service. Cleanliness = 1. There are 3 floors mainly are ladies floor and with toilet and washing bay attached to every floor. 2. 7 Shower rooms and washing machine located at B1. 3. Can request to change the bed sheet on 3rd night. 4. Towel provided every morning. Facilities = 1. Very surprised and satisfied with the breakfast which serves from 5am-10am. 2. Variety of breads, jams, coffee, tea etc. Definately will stay here again if i go Tokyo in future, and recommend to my friends!

Compared to other hostels this place is luxury! It's super clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was great. There are plenty of vending machines in the hostel, even one selling beer. There are also laundry facilities in the basement. The staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful. A mistake was made with my bill but they all went over and above to correct it, chasing me down to make sure everything was alright. The staff were also open to having a friendly chat occasionally. I'd highly recommend this place, and I'll stay again if I come back to Tokyo.

I had a very relaxing time in here.”
First, the size of the bed is about 1.5 times bigger than the other capsules. Second, I visited Tokyo in summer. As it was really hot, I like the comfortable air conditioning and the small fridge in my staying area. Third, they can assist you with bookings for Sadou, Shodo, and the traditional Japanese clothing rental. Besides, they are very nice and informative. I was very happy with my stay.

Perfect if not for the other guests”
Everything's perfect if not with the other guests that are so noisy all the time. They come in bulk and they will talk all at the same time regardless where they are. They don't smell friendly too, so I hope the management will think of a solution for this type of guests(maybe create their own floor?) and this is not your fault. I'm not being racist though, I am just telling the truth. Keep up the good work ! Domo Arigato !

The place is really clean! I love the set up of the bathroom and that you had your own private toilets in each floor. I love how organize it was. The bed was comfy too and also the staff were very friendly. Will definitely stay here again and recommend to my friends!

Compared to other hostels, the beds here are luxurious. The facilities are as good as new. If you need any help, the front desk speaks English. Location is a short walk away from the train station. Convinient yet away from the noise.

The staff is super helpful, especially when I got sick. They helped me made reservation for medical clinic and frequently asked me whether I need something for helping me to get better. Even staff gave me fever patch. Very comfy, neat and clean hotel. everything is at place and efficient. Japan hospitality!

I love this hostel: staff helpful and spoke English good! Dormitory room but bed size big enough (bigger than other hostel) Shower room very clean! Many room so no need to wait. They provide for you towel and change everyday (some hostel you have to rent towel) and slippers also! Common room quite small and busy in morning! If you come to have breakfast around 10:00am maybe nothing left for you! (Breakfast time from 5:00 to 10:30) Standard breakfast: some soup, some tea, some bread. Location: near ueno station, easy to take “sky train” direct to narita airport!

Worth the money value, easy access near the okachimachi station, very clean, toothbrush and towel provided everyday, breakfast and snacks are provided, face mask also provided, and the best thing for me was the staff, they very friendly and helpful and easy to communicate with specially Miko. Showers are private and clean. You can do your laundry but my only problem was that the dryer need to be used couple of times in order to have your clothes dry specially you have no place to hang your clothes.

I'm impressed with the size of the bed! It is bigger than usual capsule hostel. Since they have fewer beds in 1 floor, which provided more space for you to pack your stuff or stretch your legs. Shower rooms are located at basement floor. It would be great if they could also provide a bag for guests to carry all the personal belonging while going downstairs for a shower. Staffs are helpful and they speak good English. Free breakfast included, different choices of soup, tea or coffee and breads with jams. 10 mins walk-able distance to Ueno station, 11 mins to Donki. It will not be easy if you are walking back to the hostel after shopping at Donki. But it only take about 6 mins walk to the nearest train station, Okachimachi station.

A great place to stay”
The hostel is about 8mins walk to Tokyo Metro(Naka-okachimachi Station), and 10mins walk to JR(Ueno Station). Bed is big and comfortable. Facility is good. Has 7 shower rooms which is enough for guests. They also provide free towels. Here provide free breakfast(bread, jam and miso soup). Really worth it to stay here. Recommend!

Its a nice quiet hostel”
I was travelling alone. stayed here for 2nights and because I was staying at a much more loud and exciting hostel the night before this hostel was very quiet compared to it. If you want to just be alone quietly and sleep this is a place to go. But I like guest houses because of the getting to know people and making new friends this hostel was not so good for me. the beds were quite compact as well. the first bed I was assigned to was a upper bunk, but the top of the bunk was in a slant like a shape of a roof so It was even smaller than other upper bunks. So I asked for a change and they changed to a bottom bunk for me. There are lockers for each bed and its quite big my 25inch suitcase fit in nicely. Its a nice place for the price. Bathrooms were clean. Shower rooms were downstairs, one room with a bathtub. 8-9mins walk to the station. convenience stores near.

This is 1 of the best hostel in Tokyo. Reasonable price, clean, bed is a little spacious (compare to other hostel), locker is big enough for a cabin size luggage + backpack, friendly staff, and you can do your laundry (washing machine & dryer cost around 500yen)
