Really enjoyed staying here, very near to Higashi-shinjuku station and Shinjuku bus terminal. Even if the room is small, it's clean and comfy. Would definitely go back and stay here! :)

Comfy and convenient”
The rooms are cozy and the facilities are clean and well looked after. The location is amazing and seems to be close to Koreatown as their are many Korean restaurants and stores. The only con would be that even during check-in hours staff tends to be away from the reception. They do provide letters with self check-in but I think this should be done outside those hours.

Worth every penny ”
My hubby and I got here late and I found a sign of “self check-in.” Everything I need to know was in an envelope my name on it hanging on the wall at the front desk. It is located a block away from the busy street so no worries for the noise. Clean and cheap to stay :)

If you're on a budget, this place is for you”
Value for money - cheapest we could find given the date we visited Tokyo. 20usd per night is not too bad. Location - The location is great since it's close to different stations. A lot of walking when you're in Tokyo but that's already a given. Very close to convenient stores - 7/11 or Family Mart all over the neighbourhood. There are also many restaurants around the area and Ichiran is in the neighbourhood!! Cleanliness - The place is clean - no doubt about that. Staff - Self Check-in after 3pm and Self-Check out. Make sure to follow instructions written. We met a staff some days and they were very helpful. Facilities - Their rooms are relatively small but don't forget it's one of the cheaper accommodations given the area you are at. You don't book this place for staycations. It's a place where you sleep and bathe. If you wish to do a staycation, better to book an AirBnB. Over-all a 8.5/10 on my book summing up value for money, location and facilities.

This is the cheapest in Tokyo Shinjuku area but very clean and beds are comfortable. Restroom is very small though. Also no free towel so make sure you bring one. I and my friend stayed in a twin room. You can also hear voices from other rooms. Location isn't so near to Shinjuku station. Overall it's still good bec it's the cheapest in the area.

Excellent Location”
5 min walks to subway. Walking distance to every attractions. Location really excellence. You can choose either to use toei subway or jr line cause each subway very near to hotel. Easy to check in because self check in. No worries if u check in late. Room is small howver suit with pay. Toilet in the guesthouse not clean. We not meet staff for 6days and hard to interact with them. Make sure to bring your towel if not you have to rent. I recommend for those who single traveler to stay here. If with family u can look at others guesthouse.

It's right on the north edge of Shinjuku nightlife area, and right on the south edge of Korea-town, which is really popular these days.

Good for value and location”
It's good with low cost hostel, centrally located Shinjuku Station (5 mins walking), it will be good for single travel with low and looking for low budget residence!

Very narrow hallways and small room”
It is conveniently located in the middle of Shinjuku. There are many restaurants and kombinis nearby. However the host is not around in the evening so you have to self check in a d manage everything by yourself. Only instructions posted are given by the host. Upon entering the room, it is very narrow and the bedspace is small as well. Shower rooms are only 2 and there is some kind of urine smell in the shower room. Toilets are not cleaned enough so bring your own hygiene kits. You can leave your luggages in the reception room if you will be leaving for days. There is also a washing machine and hanging area for clothes at the back of the room for drying. It is cheap but don't expect great comfort during your stay.

Cleanliness - The other backpackers' toiletries are kept in the shower room. Could be an advantage if you run out of toiletries. But it doesn't look so hygienic. Laundry - No detergent dispenser available Staff - He was nice, but could be a little more outgoing. Friendliness to backpackers could make up for the bad things. Was promised to be moved to the lower bunk but never happened.

Nice location near Subway and Bars”
Pros:Centrally located,easy access to Subway, Night Bars , Friendly front desk ( a Korean guy) , Don Quixote ( a 24 he open wholesale Japanese chain store is a mere cross across the street for cheaper shopping,food,grocery and all essentials. Cons: Very small area, the private rooms are double decker beds with common toilet. No common area so to speak... But they have a fridge,a microwave oven and a perculator for hot water but then not even few mugs,plates,fork & spoon for guest's use. So u end up buying those instead. But considering it's cheaper rate compared to some guesthouses in the area... If only to have a place to sleep and shower I guess the cons further outweighs the pros.

Like last previous review it is hard to meet owner of their staff, so we have to book another extra night because we want to check out late but no reply with them. So we already wasting money by pay another night which we not sleep there. But location is excellence.

No staff or security at all”
Our 2-night stay here was fine, and was a good value for the money considering the location in Shinjuku, which can otherwise be quite expensive. Some weird things were that you hardly saw any staff (I think we saw one person once), there's absolutely no security - the front "door" was an unlocked plastic curtain. So if you left your bags before or after checking out, anyone could come in and take it. And also the rooms were number coded, but the codes were related to the room numbers and I don't think they ever change... That said, nothing was stolen from us because it is Japan after all, but still, it didn't leave you feeling very secure.
