Holiday Stopover”
The staff are really helpful and friendly and the breakfast is great, but rooms are really basic, no safe and no real storage facility’s, they even charge as a guest to use the gym facility’s, this hotel is more aimed at the one night stopover market, not great for stopping more than one night.

More improvement needed”
Disappointing service and poor service follow up regarding my booking. Club rooms are nothing special and not well located with confusing signs Room service is ok. Room amenities like tooth brush , slippers are not provided even for club rooms

Spa facilities and pool excellent Like fact kids werenot allowed in til 9.Staff in gym excellent.Gave me shampoo when i had lefg mine at home.Pub very good with plenty of screens to watch sport.Food very good though would have liked couple more options of lager.Breakfast excellent though would like to see croissents warm.Besides that a lovely lady member of staff warmed me one when i asked.Tea and coffee at breakfast disappointing.Served in flasks and was lukewarm and teabags weak.Would rather see this served in pots on table. TVs in room excellent Will definately return

Second Visit to Village Hotel Newcastle”
Visited Village Hotel Newcastle again as we were so impressed the first time. The staff are lovely and very helpful and always at hand day or night. The rooms are always very clean and tidy and very comfortable. Enjoyed the breakfast every day and would recommend to other travellers without hesitation. Only one bug bear, could we just have a kettle and some coffee rather than the complicated coffee machines?

Pleasant Stop”
We enjoyed our stay and we're fully satisfied, the staff were great (the bar staff could be more attentive!). The room was great but it was a double room with only one chair which seemed odd but still the bed was one of the most comfortable we've slept in! Minor issue was the room service stops at 10:30pm which we felt it should be a 24hr service. Overall good place to spend a night away!
