Wonderful stay during my camino”

Location -- short walk from the entrance to Portomarin. Cozy and clean, and nice reception. Room was quiet and charming, and beds were comfortable. Common bathroom was also nice and clean. There is a grocery store nearby and place to eat are a bit of a walk way.

Lovely, modern accommodation for wary pilgrims! Our triple room was spacious and comfortable and we could even air out our shoes on the wide, external window ledge. The wifi is a bit spotty but works perfectly in the common room.

we booked triple room for air conditioning but it only had a fan. it was also quite noisy due to people staying there - as it’s close to entry and laundry.

Perfect stay”

The staff at reception was a super star. Very welcoming and helpful with anything you needed. Great central location near the Camino and a supermarket and bars. Kitchen and lounge space was great. Beautiful view from my room and a floor fan to help with the heat. The most comfortable beds and pillows of my entire trip.
The shower in the shared bathroom sprays water all over the floor and it’s slippery trying to get out of the shower and dry off. The staff was constantly on top of it, mopping it up. He works very hard and he’s a star.

The room is clean, there is a locker available 1 for each pilgrim. The bathroom is surprisingly very clean and they are attentive to details like providing qtips &amp; pads just in case anyone need it. A lot of items in the kitchen such as tea and coffee are free for everyone. This hostel do not have bunkbeds, which is nice so no need to climb any ladder to sleep (lol).

The albergue has great views of the mountain and along the route of the walk the following day. They also have a nice kitchen with appliances that you can use.
Sound proofing was not good. You will hear movements from downstairs and every step a person does outside the room. We were not able to sleep well because one pilgrim was coughing the whole night. We requested to be transferred to another room and we were willing to pay extra, but we were told there was no vacant room.
