The resort is located to the north tip of the island, to most, it may not be ideal as it is far from the main town, but to those looking for a relaxing isolation and to swim in clear blue waters, this is the place to stay. The room is very nice and bed was extremely comfortable. The staff and owner makes extra effort to make your stay as great as possible. They served us a wonderful breakfast at our beachfront porch, it is the best way to wake up to. They also let you use the snorkel equipment and kayaks for free. I would highly recommend this resort and I would love to come back and stay here again.

We stayed at a beach front room and it was fanstatic. In the morning we enjoyed sunrise viewing, coral and starfish diving and kayak with all free-to-borrow equipments from the host. We highly recommend this host.

My flight was delayed but the owner stayed up late to wait for us , he's super friendly The location is a little far from the center of Phu Quoc , and the airport, but it near Vinwonder and the Safari Room is clean , bed is good , and you will have your own private beach Highly recommend this hidden gem

A hidden gem away from the busy tourist areas”
Our group enjoyed our stay at Hula Hula very much. The owner went way out of her way to ensure our stay was pleasant and the entire staff was helpful and friendly. The property is new and attractively landscaped. The restaurant serves western and Vietnamese dishes and everything was tasty. The property is right on the beach, but there is also a very nice swimming pool.

Great place for family. The pool was great. Breakfast is amazing. The staff was super helpful and speak English. We loved collecting shells and opening the beach front window. The staff was helpful with renting motor bikes and booking a private boat for snorkeling.

Pros: - New facility - Nice pool - Garden well maintain - Large rooms and bathrooms - Very friendly and trying to be helpful staff - Nice view on Cambodia - Good coverage, good working WiFi Cons: - Room construction not well finished i.e. not secured electric cables Dangerous! - 80% of the beach covered with bricks - not for use, very tiny beach for use was full of rubbish and dirt. At the end of the day you are coming there for sun and nice beach! - No shower at the pool. People are going to the pool as they are! (grrrr) - Resort surrounding FULL of rubbish, sewage goas strait to the see, people are living VERY, VERY poorly hence it is not right place for a walk for sensible people. - Garbage was burned by locals everyday – awful smell of plastic! - Rather far away from civilization. No western standard restaurants in the surrounding - Reception will not call the taxi!!! They wanna hire their own car for 60$ - Very modest only a la cart breakfast - Average restaurant food quality

Remote location, peaceful escape”
On the waters edge but no beach. Calm water but quite rocky.. safe for swimming and we swam to a nearby beach. Very peaceful and good if looking to escape and rest!

Nice new hotel ”
The place is brand new and very clean. Besides, the staff is really helpfull. They booked bus and ferry tickets for us. However, they are new and some of the staff still need to learn. Even though the breakfast itself was really nice, they did not always make what we ordered and it could take up to 1.5 hours. A small down side is that they only have showers on solar panels. We were there when there was no sun, so no hot shower for us. However, overall a really nice place to stay. Directly next to the sea. I would definately recommend the place!

Was incredibly disappointed by every aspect of this “resort”. First off, there is no beach. They built a small beach, but it is completely flooded and unusable, and full of garbage. There are also far to few lounge chairs by the pool to accommodate the number of guests. The resort is very far from any restaurants or bars, so the fact that there is no beach leaves you with few options for what to do. The only point of being so secluded on and island is a beach.... they don’t have one. The rooms had broken air conditioning for the most part. The one room with decent AC had a broken TV. When I checked in, the bathroom in my room smelled strongly of urine. I was told that the room could not be cleaned until the next day, but that I could have a candle.... not sanitary. Food wasn’t too good, but you’re stuck since there aren’t restaurants nearby. Only one staff member at hotel spoke fluent English. Was told I was rude for complaining about problem with Aircon and tv....

It is a place where you can enjoy swimming, snorkeling, and kayaking in the sea right in front of the accommodation, and you can also use the resort's swimming pool. So my husband chose this resort. Suddenly, my husband went home first, leaving me and my two children alone. The boss spoke English well and was meticulous in many ways, so I spent a really good time until the last night of the 4th day. On the first day, he was very kind and explained everything from resort use information to simple information about the surrounding villages. The owner said that the resort lends out bicycles to tour the village, equipment to snorkel and kayak, etc. for free. On the second day, my husband had to return to work, so he went home first. I asked the boss to change the 2 accommodations I booked to 1 for the remaining 3 days, and he handled it right away. Also, when my husband was embarrassed because he couldn't catch Grab, the boss took him to the airport himself. It was also really nice to have local Italian food delivered for us to eat. Even on the 3rd day, the waves weren't calm, so when we mostly stayed at the accommodation, the boss introduced us to nearby tourist attractions. We are a family that doesn't like crowded places, so we stayed at the hostel, and we were grateful for taking care of it with a warm heart. The sea at Hula Hula Resort is really beautiful. Today, the waves were calm, so we rode kayaks and enjoyed playing in the pretty sea. It was convenient to use the equipment provided by the resort. In addition, it was really nice that they listened attentively to even the smallest requests. It's not a very luxurious resort, but it's neat and meticulously managed, and the price is reasonable, so I recommend it. If you want to relax in a quiet place, this is your paradise. I think you can enjoy it to your heart's content. (However, harmless little lizards and hot water with low water pressure are very small dust)

Amazing trip thanks to Hula Hula Resort!”
Great resort in northern of Phu Quoc. A bungalow infront beach is a perfect choice. Private beach is quite clean. You can swim and discover coral, aquatics. Open your window and you can hear and feel the breeze, waves, it was a stunning view. The room were sparkling clean, comfortable bed and couch, well equipment. Breakfast was carefully prepared, delicious. Toai - the host is super friendly, helpful and have an eye on details to make guest feel confortable. Various choice of restaurant, street food (local and western) near by the resort. Tiny remark: water pressure in my room were not stable but it's fine. I did not complain to the host until the last day because other things were great and a bit water don't really mind me. DEFINITELY COMEBACK AND RECOMMEND HULA HULA RESORT TO MY FRIENDS & FAMILY!
