At first entrance we thought it was cool. But once we were finally settling in, I was dissapointed. Maybe the hotel is getting old coz there is a smell of mold-like and its irritating to the nose. The carpet were not properly vacuumed, bed sheets are old, dishwasher have cockroaches, some part of tv set is dusty.

Hyatt Residences is well located at West Bay close to amenities and a shopping mall.The staff are friendly and helpful and had a good welcome by Ashish. The studio room comes with a separate sitting area and a fully equipped kitchen.Cleanliness is good with a comfortable bed.The bathroom tends to get slippery as the floor gets wet as the bath tub has no shower screens. There are no in-house F&B facilities; however there are nearby eating places and coffee making facilities in the room.

My 2nd home in Doha”
Celebrated my birthday party last weekend in Hyatt Residences and it was awesome! It wouldn't be possible without the help of the Hyatt Residences management and staff. As always, they have been really helpful with all our requests, especially Ms. Ann, the Guest Service Officer who assisted me from booking the room until checkout, and Allan, the lifeguard who helped us in finding my friend's pendant under the pool. The whole room is huge and clean, the beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped with all the things you need for cooking. There are two pools available, one at the rooftop and one at the ground floor with sauna and steam room as well. Overall, it was a very good experience. That's why I keep coming back to this hotel.

My second home”
Hyatt has always been our go-to place whenever we want to have some sort of staycation or throw a party, and this time it was my Birthday Party. We were so lucky to have booked this hotel at a very cheap price through Agoda, with a book-now-pay-later option. Location is excellent, just a stone's throw away from City Center Mall. Upon entry to our unit, it smells fresh, everything was very clean, and all the rooms were neatly organized. There was even a basket of fruits in the middle of the dining table. Staff have been really helpful, accommodating, and very patient with all our requestsss (yes, there were a lot!). With regard to the facilities, I should have given a score of 5 if only there was at least a small restaurant or even a shop where we can buy some emergency stuff without going to the mall, especially in a very hot and humid afternoon. Overall, our experience was fantastic! Thank you Hyatt Residences for having us!

The hotel is located in the middle of the city centre and close to many shopping centres. I stayed in one bedroom apartment for 3 days. The room is clean and all the facilities are in excellent condition. I would recommend this hotel to other visitors to Westbay Doha.

You get what you pay for”
Room - suite was big enough but no desk chair for desk (had to ask. when it came, it was in a sad condition. Torn.) Carpets has turn into grey patches in most area. Sofa is dirty as well. Bring or ask for more pillows. Provided too soft. Kitchen is very small but functional. Facitilities - 2 small pools (rooftop was under renovation.) Gym tiny but theres treadmill since thats what most ppl are after anyways. I wouldnt say its a old hotel coz its less than 6 years old but the maintainence has been almost to none. Hence why it looks like one. BUT for the price & location (3 mins walk to city centre), you get what you pay for.

We had a fantastic time here. Staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Our apartment was better than we expected. Kitchen had all the utilities/kitchenware we needed to prepare meals comfortably. The only thing missing was a sponge and washing up liquid to do the dishes which would have made things perfect for us. Lots of storage space available. Very clean!!! But must be careful after the housekeeping mops the floors.. Slipped a few times due to the soapy solution being used..very slippery! Enjoyed the city view in bed. We had a superb time here and would return here once again...

Reception poor service”
At the arrival to Hyatt Residence it is realized 2 rooms are booked, we only required one room. The receptionist would correct the situation. We have been charged for 2 rooms after the arrival. When contacting the same receptionist, it was explained we will be charged for 2 rooms, even though we only had access to one room. Very surpricing and poor service.

Pros: Good value for Money. Nice Location. Cons: Poor Lighting. Unmaintained and unchecked appliances (some appliances were not functional and some were faulty) This is the second time I stayed in this hotel but I am more satisfied with our previous stay than this.
