Quiet hotel, great for those who drive. Near hot sand bath”
Hotel is great for those who drive. Quiet location, our room had garden view. We took the japanese and western bed room for the 4 of us. Hotel is slightly tight, but ok. Near hot sand bath and a large supermarket. Friendly staff.

Amazing hotel with amazing people!”
We stayed at Ibusuki Royal hotel for 4 nights. The staffs were so polite, friendly, and helped us with all requests. Even a silly request! They also speak good English and able to recommend us for activities and restaurants. We feel very welcomed there! The hotel is very lovely, clean and location is perfect. They even have free shuttle to the sand beach and oh, they have free onsen inside the hotel! Thank you again for making our stay very enjoyable. We definitely will come back and stay at Ibusuki Royal Hotel next time. This hotel is recommended! Many thanks, Imelda

Very good service, staff very helpful. Excellent dinner - get what you pay”
Staff vety warm, information provided very clear and they will make sure you understand the key information. I asked if yhe hotel can send our bagages to Ibusuki Information Center in the Ibusuki train station, they checked and confirmed. Staff also reminded me the time availability of my baggage in the centre. When I checked out and go yo take the bus to Ibusuki station, yhe staff slso trll me where to the bus stop and also showed me the bus arrival time. The hot sand bath is very enjoyable. The last part is that the dinner is excellent. We take 1 beef set and 1 pork set. Though not cheap but I get what I paid. And I have a very good memory for my stay in this hotel.

Stunning view”
The view of the bay was beautiful and relaxing. The hotel is old, but everything was perfectly clean. Staff greeted me just outside the entrance whenever I returned. Breakfast buffet very much Japanese style, to be expected here but worth keeping in mind. Not too far from town, 2.5km from Ibusuki station, a few hundred metres from a convenience store and a large supermarket. Overall, I'll never forget my stay here, it's a highlight of my 4 weeks in Japan.

We went to Ibusuki with some elderly. They appreciated the stay for the sea view. We young people played fireworks out the beach of the hotel.

Great onsen here”
Choose this for onsen only. Slightly overpriced big hotel, not near town center. Wellcome drink is cup of coffee, which is IMHO a fraud. Staff tried to sell dinner and breakfast, which were expensive. Better use Lawson 800 m from hotel. Rooms were adequate and they charged 2xtwin room for one quadruple. When I asked about it staff they did not answer. Ibusuki area is very nice and there are not many hotels there. That is why you can stay here.

Wonderful staff made our stay”
Whilst first impressions are of a slightly dated hotel, the rooms are excellent. As a family of 4 we stayed very comfortably in a Western/Japanese room with futons for our teenage and near teenage kids. What really made our stay was the staff - unfailingly friendly delivering excellent service.

The room was very spacious and extremely clean. We loved the onsen in the hotel and the pianist in the lobby which overlooks the ocean. Also we appreciated the shuttle bus service to the hot sand bath very much. This is a great place to come and to relax. I haven't slept so well in a long time.

Old but well-maintained hotel with good service ”
From hotel lobby and onsen we can get nice view of Kagoshima Bay. Hotel is rigid about check-in time at 3 pm and also called ahead to remind us of check-out time at 10 am. Staff also called us for breakfast as we'd overslept and when we got to the dining room they already got our breakfast ready so could enjoy our meal straightaway. Hotel also recommended us nice Japanese restaurants for dinner and voucher for complimentary drinks at the restaurants.

Rooms with awesome sea view. Extremely helpful staffs who tried their best in helping me to check for rental car n arrange for taxi despite a last minute request. Good dinner n hotel provide shuttle bus to the sand bath center.

Awesome Hotel! Great Value! 5 Star Staff”
Our stay was brilliant! The staff was SO accommodating to our little Japanese skills! They were so helpful with things to do and places to eat. I can't speak highly enough of the staff. The rooms were great! Beds were slightly hard but totally sleepable. The views from the sea view room was INCREDIBLE. SO beautiful. Breakfast was delicious: western and Japanese options. Thank you for a great stay!
