Great place to stay in the old quarter of Hanoi”
Large clean rooms. Low affordable prices. Friendly hospitality by all of the staff here. I stayed here 3 nights my first stay and really enjoyed. Then my girlfriend and I went to Sapa for a night. They held our suitcases for us and did our laundry. When we arrived late at night 2 nights later. They had already put the key in the charger to turn on the AC for us. The staff brought up our suitcases and laundry. It was very appreciated after a 5 hour bus ride to Hanoi from Sapa. The staff even offered to make us breakfast the day we left for Sapa at 6:30 am even though their kitchen didn't open until 7 am. We told them it wasn't necessary as we found a nearby restaurant open at 6 am. But it shows they are always friendly and giving great customer service. I will be happy to return here again on my next stay in Hanoi. Its located in a quiet section of the old quarter. But you can walk to Beer Street, the Night market, and Hoan Kiem Lake in 5 or 10 minutes. Thanks again

Excellent place to stay”
Soon after I booked my room I received an email from Marcus at the hotel asking to assist with transportation from the airport. When I arrived at hotel, they were expecting me and had check-in process nearly complete. Marcus assisted me with tour plans and made sure I was able to make the most of my stay in Hanoi. He arranged all my tours which were a little more than I could buy off the street, but they were the highest quality. Not sure the cheaper ones would be as quality. Definitely book tours with the hotel. Room was big, clean comfy and AC blows cold. Breakfast was plentiful. I checked out at noon, but train was at 8. They let me come back and shower before my train. Absolutely a wonderful place to stay in the middle of Old Quarter.

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at!”
Amazing staff welcomed us and made us feel very comfortable from the very start, even when our booking couldn’t be found right away on Agoda, they assured us they would have our room. The staff also gave us a great map and sat down to go through all the local and popular recommendations. The room was clean, spacious, had comfortable beds, a bathtub, mini fridge and a tv with multiple English movie channels. They also provided water, tea and coffee. Breakfast was included and was a quality buffet style with lots of variety. There was hot water, AC and laundry service and they also helped us book an amazing cruise in Halong Bay! 100% would stay again!

Value for money”
It was wonderful hotel and that was our concern when we decided to book it during holiday. If fact when we arrived, they forgot passport on taxi on the way to the hotel, Hotel Manager - Marcus was so fantastic to call taxi company and took passport back for us. We were so lucky to get it. We were appreciated their help. The room was functional and specially comfortable. It is not really big but spacious enough. The beds are very comfortable and there is TV LCD in the room. The really surprising thing is the price as its cost not much more than hotel nearby but quality is much better. I really hope they will keep the standard and price as I travel quite frequently to Hanoi, Icon Residence is the first choice.

Nice stay at Icon 36”
We had 2 rooms on the second floor. The rooms were nice and clean and had refrigerators and safes which was nice. The free breakfast was very good and buffet style. The staff was nice and helpful. Especially Marcus who told us all we needed to know when we arrived and helped us with our bags. The location is good and walking distance to the lake and centre of everything. We forgot our water bottles when we checked out but they said they hold on to them for pick up when we’re back in Hanoi later this month which is also very accommodating.

Wonderful Hotel Manager”
Room is spacious, modern and well cleaned, breakfast was varied and very well displayed. The staff, especially Marcus - hotel manager was really helpful giving all the infos we required and offered assistance in some issues we had ( travel agent cancelled our trip in last minute,...). Marcus was willing to organize Baitulong trip with such amazing. Price could not better than he offered. And we had a great trip - it is much more important than if you try to compare something. The price was worth the service we had. If we return to Hanoi, this will be our place to stay.

Great hotel in old quarter of Hanoi”
No cons for me only pros. Large clean rooms. Low prices. Great friendly helpful staff. Always putting customer service first. Good breakfast service in the morning. The location is nice. It's in a quiet section of the old quarter. Plenty of coffee shops, restaurants, and even a Circle K all within a block of the hotel. You can walk to Beer Street, Night Market, and Hoan Kiem Lake in 5 to 10 minutes. I definitely would return to this hotel again on my next stay in Hanoi. THANK YOU again Icon 36 Hotel and Staff.

If you want to look for hotel in Hanoi, Icon 36 Hotel & Residence will be the best choice. Hotel is spotlessly clean with all facilities you could want, beautiful room, nice staff and very private. You don't need to think anything to must-to-do as staff will recommend you lots of places. Especially, Mr Marcus was amazing to arrange trip to Halong bay with incredible price in last minute. We couldn't require anymore than what they brought the best one. Fantastic hotel.

Incredible value”
Just returned from our first trip to Hanoi and it was amazing. We just booked the hotel based on reviews. And it was correct to decide. It was incredible value - the room was so quiet, comfortable bed and wonderful staff. The buffet breakfast is a treat and both of ladies in restaurant made us feel cozy and like a home. And a true surprise was the Free internet service in the hotel ( not a lot of hotels that provide it ). Enjoyed !!!

We can't say enough about the hotel. It is very nicely decorated and clean. The staff was friendly and efficient. Marcus and his team did really hard working. It is located in heart of old town. Ideally located for local streets. Breakfast was great with lots of choice and various everyday. Don't forget breakfast time and come down earlier before 9:30am. Houseskeeping staff was polite to give us back our ring that was forgot under the sheet. Many thanks are not enough. GREAT

My go-to in Hanoi”
The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were outstanding in supporting whatever I was up to, including booking a car for me to an industrial park in the middle of nowhere (normally I'd use the Grab app for rides around Hanoi, but I was worried that the site was so remote no one would come get me). As an added bonus, this place has bathtubs. A good soak after walking around the old quarter all day is a delight. Now that I found this place, I will stay here whenever i am in Hanoi.

Only 2 nights - not enough”
We checked in late afternoon and did Halong bay trip in next morning. All arrangments from airport tranfser to tour were amazing. We just booked them after few conservations. Our room was very comfortable and cozy. Bathtub was nice. We have travelled a lot but there are a few hotels that have bathtub. And Icon is one of that. It is very advantage for them. The location is great also. It would take some minutes walk to night market and food area. A very special place

Small hotel, friendly and great location. Room had great size and very comfortable with bathroom. Breakfast was continential buffet, a lot of great meals and chesse, butter and hot cook,ect... There is only 5 minutes walk to main centre, beer and coffee corner. Hotel was located in quiet area. We had very good sleep all the night. Would I like to stay here again? Absolutely say yes !!!

We stayed here because we wanted to stay hotel in centre. And it was wonderful choice. Hotel was clean and pleasant. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We booked Baitulong bay Overnight trip with Marcus Hotel manager. We got memorable time there. He helped us a lot to arrange airport transfer also. The internet was strong around the hotel. Nice hotel and helpful manager”
Stayed here in August. Room was very clean and neat. Location was closed to local food, train street, museums,ect... Reception desk was perfect and helpful. Marcus was special manager with much knowledge and useful information. Perfect organization trip to Lan Ha Bay - Ha Long Bay for Overnight. Price was such resonable together with high quality 4-star cruise. We were very happy as we chose correct hotel accommodation for this holiday.

Hotel is exceptionally clean ( one of the cleanest we have visited ) with superb. Our bed room is quiet -we stayed in room 504 in backside view. Good sleep all the night and it is also enough for us ( we had problem with some hotels before for noise ). Superb location and we got everything needed there. Would not hesitate to recommend to stay this hotel.

The staff were lovely, Kelly, Marcus, Thuy and also bell man helped us a lot during our stay. Wonderful halong bay trip with incredible price. We could not find any good quality with best price outside but they did it. Really good job. Marcus - hotel manager was awesome. He took care of us and followed all our schedule, gave us useful information. We thought we disturbed him through a lot of questions but he always smiled. Incredible service and recommend everybody to look for him for any help.
