Lovely resort with snow in winter”
We found a good deal to stay at Jeju Shinhwa in winter. It is a nice big resort with theme park, restaurants and shops. There is abundant parking space but still 95% full at night. The rooms were big, especially those with balcony facing the swimming pool. We woke up one day to snow on the balcony and it was such a dreamy landscape. I would definitely recommend staying here. It is about 35 minutes drive from the airport, so it is more convenient for those with cars.

Great value & potential”
It would greatly enhance the stay if restaurants in the plaza (not the one owned by hotel inside lobby) had longer working hours. As this is a resort many people leave early and return later after their journey around the island. Other than this, we enjoyed our stay and wish to return again.

Best location for Shinhwa theme park”
The room price was decent and we were given complimentary 3 rides entry to the theme park. It is a big hotel and require quite a bit of walk from the lift to the room as they have a long corridor and many rooms on a same floor. However, within the hotel itself it has shopping / premium shopping area, food/restaurant, theme park and water park. There's plenty of parking outside the hotel, but during off-peak period. The room is clean, spacious, comfortable beds, nice shower area. Has big TV and vanity area. I would recommend if you are driving and looking to visit the theme park/water park as it is quite away from everywhere else. Next to this hotel is Marriot and Shinhwa World Resort which are much more expensive price.

Pricey but great buffet, recommended. Pool is lovely but not free. You have to line up for a while for breakfast. Lots of places to explore inside the complex. Beautiful and green. Children and family friendly.

It doesn't seem accurate to label this as a 5-star hotel, based on many factors (i.e. facilities, services, amenities, etc)... but it's a good place especially for families to stay. There's a lots of leisure options for kids and a casino for (foreigner) adults, but no swimming pool directly in the Landing Resort area -- the ones available are all extra charge and in different areas. Overall great for its value!

pool is payable. 35-38000won for pool access. all facilities are chargeable. but rooms are decent. quite secluded but not difficult to get a cab by kakaoT or hop on any taxi waiting outside
